The TopHat(Inverted) on the Chiller was my favorite. I was never able to get a ride with just the lap bars either because it was closed everytime I was there. I guess now it would have to be the pretzel loop....that thing is insane!

Wow this place is really close to me. I'm going to head over there next weekend with my daughter....she will love it!

All the coaster's at Worlds of Fun. It's a sad story because I went to the park back in 1995, while waiting in-line for Timberwolf a girl fell out of the ride (Eventually after getting home I heard she had passed away). The ride closed so I really wasn't in the mood to ride coasters that day.

This event sounds great and a good price too....to bad I'm in Delaware. Hopefully one day I will make it out there to Magic Mountain.

I love the update! Brings back alot of memories. Hersheypark I think will always be my overall favorite amusement park!

Why when I'm creating a chairlift ride does it only have 1 car? I have 31 cars until I make the Station 2...then it goes to one car. Can anyone help?

I don't care that there are alot of pictures of CRR, that was my favorite water ride at the park. It's sad to really see the pictures of it getting ripped out for a......WAVEPOOL? REALLY? LOL

I'm glad I got to the park on the 10th to take my final ride on Canyon River Rapids...My daughter can't beleive it's not going to be there next year. It's a fun ride to laugh with the people you are riding with. They are taking out a great ride.

They were about 1 1/2 hours long for Fahrenheit ....But the rides were closed for about an hour(Storms) so after that it was a little worse.

I finally got to Hersheypark this year with my friend Stacey and the kids. I was excited to go because this is the last time we would ride Canyon River Rapids since they are taking it out this year. The ride reminds me of being a kid since it was the first thing my family would always go on. A Wave Pool is SOOOOOO much better...cough cough...It's STUPID actually but on to the day.... So we started out on the Rapids which was soooo much fun and the kids loved it. After that we decided to hit Tidal Force while we were soaked. Tidal Force was sooooo much fun...although I almost lost my daughter glasses. I dropped them but could not reach them and then the boat went up the lift draining. After the ride I was able to find them...thank god! Wildcat - 5 minute wait/No wait - I think this is a much better coaster with the new trains. It's still a bit crazy but IMO I think thats what makes it fun. Lighting Racer - no wait - Still fun but I kind of was bored on it for some reason but still great. Wild Mouse - 10 minute wait - This thing is just insane, the breaks were not on and we just flung around those corners! Comet - 40 minute wait - We didn't get on this until later since the line was pretty long. I have never sat in the back and it was much better back there. My daughter was screaming like crazy! SDL - 20 minute wait - Still a great ride and glad they have kept it thoughout the years since its getting up there in age. Great Bear - 30 minute wait - My daughter chicken out last minute so I didn't get on. Trailblazer - 10 minute wait - Kids loved it but that thing is sooooooooo boring. We didn't get on the the new coaster because the wait was too long and no one wanted to get on or wait. It looked awesome though and was mad I wasn't able to get on. Notes: - It stormed really bad for about an hour and the rides closed but then reopened - Someone was carried out from Roller Soaker...no clue why. - The Rapids is going to be missed by alot of people....I can just see the General Public being like....WHERE THE HELL IS IT?? - We rode most of the flats which had hardly any wait - The staff was great as usual Starting the day! Hmmmmm long day huh? Going up! Looked awesome! Fun little Ride! Made me sooooo sick..lol... Wasn't able to get on! From the Kissing Tower....Great Bear, SDL, Comet Random SDL Station Entering the park...I love how it hasnt changed much over the years! On the Tram! She's finally not a Hershey!

I agree!!! It's really hard to pick out gay men anymore no matter where you are...I hate sterotypes though. I was at a straight bar at the beach and got really really drunk and wrote (yeah someone thought passing around a sharpie was a good idea) on two "str8" guys biceps for some stupid reason. Both guys were asking TOO many questions even when we sobered up. I just think stereotypes are still around but hopefully someday people won't really have them. I mean when I came out I didn't want to be known as "gay" Chris because I'm also a Dad, Friend and a bunch of other things.

Yeah, it sure is. We drove by Blue Diamond Park on the way down Friday night and intended to stop off on our way home on Sunday, but I missed the exit since Garmin never showed it as a park. Upon driving by we saw no signs of life at all, and after arriving home we checked the website to find our thoughts to be true, the park isn't opening this year. Once again Delaware is roller coaster-less. I actually never made it to the park to ride the coaster. I remember the article in the paper about the park(when it opened) and thinking it wouldn't be open long. There's a few water parks also in Rehoboth but nothing too exciting.

Good to see Rehoboth on here since it seems like Delaware doesn't have anything. Rehoboth is pretty much all Delaware has I'm heading down their this weekend. Funland used to have this ride called the Wagon Wheels. You went upside down in a circle and the arms spun around at the same time...I miss them! BTW yeah Grottos is the most known in Delaware/Rehoboth.....Nicola's is actually the best IMO.

I took my daughter to the doctors and the nurse was saying she went to HersheyPark....Devin(my daughter) said "I love the SuperDooperLooper". Then the nurse said "Awh I love that too...I went on it a few months ago. It's not the same one they had when I was a kid, they put in a new one cause it was old" I didnt even say anything....lol...

This sounds great, I am never able to get the funds for these big trips but this sounds like something I would be able to do!

My parents actually have a picture with the 2 that were at HersheyPark in the 70's. I'll have to do some hunting to find it. I rode the one in Maryland and it was pretty rough.

I thought I had read somewhere the date the Rapids is closing but now I can't find it. Does anyone know so that I can get there before it closes forever.

Well thats sucks that the rapids ride is coming out (i knew it was coming). I have so many memories of that ride as a kid expecially when it first opened since I had never been on one before. Luckily I have the videos that they used to sell of you on the rapids. I just love getting on it with people and how you just interact so much with the waterfalls....oh well nothing can be done about it. My daughter is also really upset so we will heading there this year for one final ride.

I also feel bad for the people that were on the ride. I mean I know if I saw something like that (no matter if the guy was stupid) it would bother me for a while. I also feel bad for the family and even the person. I mean he was stupid but some people for some reason think bad things wont happen to him....but it cost him his life.
