  1. Hates when people wear hoods inside and it's even worse when they have sunglasses on....lol
  2. Also cant wait for this on the Northeast Trip! Only have been on Mystery Mine so I'll have something to compare it to!
  3. I had a dream once that Alica Keys was with me (no idea why she was there) and we rode this coaster that jumped a gap in the track.....VERY STRANGE!
  4. I agree....it was the longest line of the day when I went in 2009 (about 45 minutes). I hadn't been to the park in a while so I had no idea about the loading policy.
  5. Well look's like I'll hopefully be heading back there this year to get the ride without the trims, hopefully I'll change my opinion of the coaster!
  6. Looks great! Hopefully one day soon I'll get out there to explore the whole park!
  7. Thanks for the pictures/update because it looks great!!
  8. Wildcat while still rough isn't as bad as it was before. Glad to see Gwazi getting an update, never have been on it but will hopefully in the future!
  9. Im really excited about the new coaster in 2012, looking forward to heading back to the park and actually checking out the waterpark this time around.
  10. Wow....it's looking better and better with each update! Can't wait to hear about it when it finally opens
  11. I'd have to say the longest wait was the year Batman the Ride opened at Gadv. I think it was somewhere around 3 hours and it was actually my first looping coaster(I started getting into coasters when I was older). I think we started back somewhere around Congo Rapids...lol...
  12. I'd have to say I305(trims) at KD. I know some people don't agree with me but I was extremely excited about the coaster but was extremely disappointed. I will definately give it another chance in 2011 to see if the changes change my mind, because I'm going to go back with an open mind. Great Adventure taking out GASM was also disappointing. I'm not a big fan of standups but GASM was running really good the last time I rode it. Also pulling into the parking lot will not be the same, it always stood out!
  13. I took my daugther to this event a few years back and we had a great time! The park with even it's changes, has stayed true to what the park should be. I went as a kid and it still feels like the same exact park. I have alot of memories there as a kid and being a father. Hopefully the park doesn't change with the new owners.
  14. ^ Now I'm really looking forward to riding Untamed, seeing all this stuff and having to wait is killing me!
  15. I can't wait to ride this on the Northeast Trip! Hopefully the theming is as good at it looks which looks like it will add to the ride experience. Can I just bypass winter.....for many reasons!
  16. It's ashame to see parks sitting like this but at least this one is not being left in ruins. There is a park here in Delaware that's been sitting for years now, the only coaster in the state and it's just sitting there.
  17. I agree also about the rapids ride but I'm over it now, they did make a good decision for them but not for people who have been going to the park for years. I remember when the rapids ride FIRST opened....it's the ride people ran to because the line would be extremely long! I do have video tape on it that they used to sell....one day I'll download them to put online.
  18. Wow....this looks more crazy each time I look at pictures. Some of those TURNS actually look scary...hope to get out there one day and ride this beast!
  19. I wonder if this has to do with the insane cost of staying in the Hershey Hotel. Last time I looked, they were charging Disney Deluxe prices. Is there a big market for this sort of thing in Hershey, PA? Probably not, but that's coming from someone who doesn't need a hotel to go there. Hotel Hershey is a really fancy place, their restaurants are very high-class (and expensive), their shops are the same, and some of the extras they offer are the same way. I'm sure many guests either stay at the Hershey Lodge (which I think is cheaper), Hershey Highmeadow, or at a regular hotel. I would think if they'd lower the prices or offered some Disney-like offers, they'd get more people to stay in the hotel. I stay at the Chocolate Town Motel like 10 minutes from the park...its only about 100 on the weekend in later June. No reason to spend so much money when your only sleeping there. I'm at the park open till close, getting in line right before closing time.
  20. That is one lucky Dolphin! Marky Mark is to blame for me being gay....just kidding. But I think he pushed me over the edge
  21. Ok hearing that is getting me excited again.....I'm trying to contain myself for a while since it's a little bit away for the Northeast Trip!
  22. Well since your from Delaware (like me) I'd actually say skip both and head to Hershey if you want a great family park trip. They have IMO a really good balance for families. If I had to choose between Dorney or Great Adventure....Id say Dorney since your basing it on a family friendly trip.
  23. Cant wait to see how this turns out! Hopefully one day Ill get out there but the ride "looks" like its going to be awesome!
