  1. Rhinefield Germany all the way! It has my favorite theming in the park, and it has Alpengeist!
  2. ^Definitely ride it to find out. I think it's one of the greatest B&M creations ever, I found it to be the most forceful invert (not because of just the amount of g's, but because of how long it sustains them), and I love the brutal snap to the cobra roll, zero-g, corkscrew, and even into the mid-course. It also goes deep into the woods, while also interacting with other rides. And of course it has a good theme. A lot of people don't like the snappiness of it, but I love it and don't have a problem with it.
  3. Very random, even for random, but I personally would say message whoever you want and don't worry about the creepy boyfriend.
  4. 1. What is the farthest distance you've traveled to specifically visit a theme park? Flying to Walt Disney World Resort, so around 1K miles. 2. Your favorite coaster in the state you live in? El Toro 3. Would you rather wait in line for a boomerang (at any park) or a VR coaster @ a Six Flags? If it's the same wait time, then VR. Otherwise, I'd wait for the boomerang if it's a good one. 4. Have u ever been to Dorney Park? Yes, 4 times actually. Also I've ridden Exterminator, Avalanche, and obviously Flitzer alone. I've ridden way more flat rides alone. 5. What is your favorite thing to do at your home park that does not involve riding something? Um, passing through the animal area in the Golden Kingdom is pretty much it. Unless it's Holiday in the Park and they have great food and lights. 6. Better time for ERT: Early morning or late night? NIGHT!!! 7. Name some theme park food that *sounds* gross, yet is oh-so-delicious? Alligator bites at Knoebels. 8. Name your top three "bucketlist" coasters you have yet to ride. Voyage, Lightning Rod, Expedition GeForce. 9. Have you ever been E-Vac'd? Did you receive anything if you did? No. 10. What is the longest length of time you've waited for a coaster? About 3 hours for El Toro on one of my first visits to SFGAd. 11. Worst flat ride ever. Name it. I guess any knock-off ride from China would probably be the worst. For ones I've been on, those kiddie rides that go slowly in a circle that are all the same. 12. Your favorite SWEET treat at a park that is NOT your home park. Cinnamon bread at Dollywood!!!!! 13. Congratulations! After aggressively gambling on the Plinko game you finally won a front of the line pass. Which ride do you use it on? It doesn't specify which park, so Voyage, since I haven't been on it, and it's my #1 bucket-list coaster. 14. If you could have a lifetime fast pass to ONE attraction what would it be? Maverick. 15. Have you ever been next to someone that puked on a coaster? No, but I've been right behind someone who threw up in line! 16. Your home park is getting a new B&M and YOU get to pick what type. Do you want an invert/hyper/dive/floorless/flyer/wing/standup? All of the above is not an option. Dive (we already have most of these, lol.) 17. Name your favorite Vekoma. Expedition Everest. A lot of those new concepts seem awesome, though. 18. What water ride delivers the most unacceptable amount of wetness? Tidal Force at HersheyPark. I've never ridden it with regular clothes, thankfully. 19. If you were able to help design a coaster would you want it to focus on airtime or inversions/positive G's? Airtime. 20. Most comfortable trains/seats for a coaster are... The seats on Jack Rabbit at Kennywood. They're nice and soft, and the only restraint is a seatbelt! 21. Choose one: Unlimited front-of-the-line access to your favorite coaster at your home park for one season OR $1,000 cash? The cash. 22. You just got drowned by a flume/rapids/chute-the-chutes. Do you pay the $$ for the dryer machine or do you continue on with your day trudging around like soggy dog? Stay wet. 23. What is the worst food you've had at your home park? I guess the boring bland chicken tendies. 24. You're at Cedar Point. You have a one hour ERT session on ONE coaster of your choice. You choose... Valravn or Rougarou, since those were added after I went. I'd pick Valravn. 25. Favorite (non-clone) dark ride? Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. 26. What was your favorite park you visited in 2016? Knoebels. Dollywood if you only count new parks. 27. What's your current credit count? Don't be shy. 138. 28. Winner winner chicken dinner! You just won a trip with hotel and airfare included. The catch is its only good for Six Flags America or Mt Olympus. Which do you choose? Mt. Olympus, since I haven't been there. SFA seems like an infinitely better park, though. 29. What is the best Intamin coaster you have ridden? El Toro! 30. Your home park has to remove one coaster and one flat for an expansion. Which two rides would you be OK with losing? The rapids (it's a weaker one anyway) to access a lot of space, and replace Green Lantern with something else on the other side of the park. 31. Song/music you've heard playing at a park that absolutely has not business being played in a theme park? Most music they play is terrible. Sometimes they play top-40 pop hits that stopped being popular 5 years ago. If you're going to play the worst music from this decade so far, I mean, at least play some trap or something that the kids will know about. 32. There's 5 minutes before the park closes. You choose to: Reride your favorite coaster in the park, OR get the new kiddie/junior coaster credit? Re-ride the best one, definitely. 33. Do you visit the waterpark if it's connected to the amusement park? Usually no. 34. What 2017 addition are you most looking forward to? Mystic Timbers. 35. What was the most disappointing addition to your home park in the past 10 years? Green Lantern. 36. The most overrated coaster ever is... Other than the obvious MF, KK, TTD, I'd have to say Intrimidator. I actually found Steel Force to be more intense. 37. What ride makes you wanna vomit? Nothing. 38. What is the best consolation prize you've won at a games booth? Nothing. 39. And the worst? Nothing. 40. End this questionnaire by posting a picture of your favorite light package (coaster/flat). I haven't been on Monster, but that one looks like the best. But for my personal favorite, I'd have to go with the nostalgic one for me! Taken by All American Thrills
  5. It seemed that way, but in the last picture I saw (which is obviously gone now I think), it wasn't finished so it was hard to tell what it was exactly.
  6. Because there can't be photos of construction here, except if the park releases it.
  7. While I really enjoy Steel Force and I think it's a lot of fun, even I have to admit that it has pretty much no intensity whatsoever, and that's coming from a fan.
  8. Yes. It happens to me every time I try to ride an impulse coaster! But seriously, I actually got a rollback on Maverick's lift hill "launch." Not an exciting rollback at all, but I think it might be pretty rare. Do you like Anaconda at Kings Dominion?
  9. Pink's is probably the only place I really enjoy for full meals at Cedar Point, since Chick Fil A got replaced.
  10. 1. What is the name of your home park? If you don't count the Funplex, then Diggerland. If you only count parks on RCDB, then Clementon Park. My major "home park" is Six Flags Great Adventure. 2. Do you own a coaster related T-shirt? Many. 3. Do you enjoy Vekoma SLCs? No (but I have some hope for the Great Nor'Easter since the new vekoma SLCs have been good, apparently.) 4. Name the first 3 coasters that come to mind. The Great Nor'Easter, Great White, Great Bear. 5. One park you would definitely never go back to is... There's no park that I wouldn't go back to. I guess Pirate's Cave (has a kiddie credit), but that doesn't count. 6. Have you ever ridden a drop tower taller than 200 feet? Yes. 7. What is your favorite roller coaster? El Toro. 8. When you go to a park three things you must have with you are... Wallet (contains money, passes, etc.), phone, re-fill cup. 9. How many times did you visit your home park last season? Probably about 10. 10. The first Intamin coaster you rode is... Storm Runner. 11. Have you ever spent an entire day at a park alone? No. 12. The independent park you go to the most is... HersheyPark. 13. Does B&M or Intamin make better hyper coasters? Intamin. 14. If it was free, what upcharge ride what you jump on right now? 300 ft. Skycoaster! 15. What is the best food at your home park? Kingdom Gyro (I usually get Jonny Rocket's since it's on the dining pass.) 16. The name of the worst GCI you've ridden is... Wildcat. 17. When you're not riding something at your home park where are you? My house, school, random places. 18. Favorite water ride in a dry park (flume, rapids, etc) Coal Cracker. 19. Do you get your photo taken with park mascots? No. 20. Name one personal item you've lost at a park. My soul. 21. Name of the worst B&M invert you're ridden is... Batman: The Ride (still fantastic, though.) 22. Name your favorite steel coaster under 125 feet tall. Maverick. 23. Name your favorite coaster/ride manufacturer? Intamin. 24. What waterpark have you visited most often? Sahara Sam's. 25. The name of the fastest wooden coaster you have ridden is... El Toro. 26. What is the name of the flat ride you've ridden the most? Probably HersheyPark's Wave Swinger actually, because I rode it a lot before I was into big rides. 27. Name a ride-related injury you have suffered. None. 28. Favorite Halloween event at a park? I haven't been to many, so I guess Hallo-Fun at Knoebels because of the coaster tunnel surprises! 29. Name the most recent Arrow ride or coaster you've been on... Tennessee Tornado. 30. Name of your favorite ride that never leaves the ground (safari, train, bumper cars, etc) Safari Off-Road Adventure is amazing, but I'd have to go with the Knoebels bumper cars. 31. What ride makes you laugh the most? Zoom Phloom and Knoebels' Haunted Mansion and bumper cars come close, but it's SKULL MOUNTAIN!!! 32. How many RMC's have you ridden? 1. 33. Best flat that goes over 100 feet is... Black Widow or MaxAir. 34. When you are on your way to your home park what is one worry that you might have? Will it be crowded? 35. Favorite park that is NOT your home park is ___________. Knoebels. 36. How many different parks did you go to last season? 25. 37. The indoor coaster/dark ride you ride most often is... Skull Mountain. 38. When you spend the day at the park what do you drink all day? Orange soda and lemonade combined. 39. The name of the best B&M you've ridden is? Fury 325. 40. Name three other forum members that will fill this out... The first 3 people who will read this post.
  11. ^I consider Blazing Fury to be a pure dark ride because it's almost completely powered, but that's more like a cute old-fashioned dark ride.
  12. They already have the star flyer, so a Larson/ARM drop tower with a similar height would be perfect!
  13. I think the reason why Millennium Force isn't ranked as highly for me is that the beginning is so amazing, but the rest of the ride is nice, but it's just so overshadowed by the first part. Now obviously having the crazy first drop and turn is tons of fun, but it doesn't feel consistent to me. Still an amazing coaster, though!
  14. Here's a quote from their "Miami Trip Ride" (mini Moby Dick ride): The miami ride for sale has been a favorite amusement attraction, with beautiful background, strong safety equipment, 22kw motor, which make it work quickly & exciting. With the miami fair ride working, along with the wonderful music, passengers will feel relax & happiness. Next time, when they feel pressful, or happy, or alone, think something quitely, first come into their mind is your miami, instead of cigerate. So I guess they're claiming that their kiddie rides prevent children from smoking?
  15. I was at Eastcoaster, and someone from the park did a presentation. They said it would be called Hydrus. It's a good name!
  16. ^Nitro's not quite as ugly, since the peeling tent is what really disturbs me on Superman.
  17. ^Superman at SFGAd literally looks like an abandoned coaster in a third-world country. It's really been getting ugly recently.
  18. ^So do they give Knoebels a cut of their profit? This is interesting. I never heard abou satellite being independently owned.
  19. ^It has way more character because of it. Arrow's odd (but still smooth) transitions from that period are perfect for TT, especially with the location it's in. It really feels like a crazy redneck coaster in the woods!
  20. Tough call, but maybe Nirvana. Laughing Hyenas or Negative Approach?
  21. ^Lightning Rod was doing ok-ish in the Fall, then constantly went down after that, and they shut it down for the season a few days before the actual season even ended. I have no idea how it will run this year.
  22. Knoebels. Twister (Knoebels) or Wooden Warrior?
  23. Wood: 1. El Toro - Six Flags Great Adventure - Some of the most insane airtime, amazing speed, one of the most perfect layouts ever, twisty awesomeness, epic forces, etc. This is easily my most loved coaster. 2. Boulder Dash - Lake Compounce - Best terrain and location ever, tons of great airtime moments, strong feeling of speed, nice laterals. It is a bit rough, but people really overreact to that. I can't wait to try the re-tracking. 3. Phoenix - Knoebels - It's so well kept up! Ridiculous airtime in the second half, but the whole thing is tons of fun! There's also some good laterals in there. The buzz bar trians are also a bonus. 4. Comet - The Great Escape - It's the ideal old-school, rough-around-the-edges woodie. Apply everything I said about Phoenix, but with normal PTC trains, not quite as intense, and not as smooth. 5. Thunderbolt - Kennywood - Greatest laterals on any coaster ever, insanely unique layout, and there's some airtime as well. The trains are also sweet. The terrain interaction is wonderful, and it has amazing pacing. The slow parts make the fast parts really stand out, especially at the end. The out-and-back section in the first part, twister part in the middle, and the larger out-and-back part at the end brings it full-circle, and it's like a whole journey. Other favorite wooden coasters: 6. Thunderhead - Dollywood 7. Wild One - Six Flags America 8. Wooden Warrior - Quassy 9. Twister - Knoebels 10. Grizzly - Kings Dominion 11. Avalanche - Timber Falls 12. Lightning Racer - HersheyPark 13. The Great White - Morey's Piers 14. Jack Rabbit - Kennywood 15. Hellcat - Clementon Park 16. Roar - Six Flags America 17. Skyliner - Lakemont Park 18. Flying Turns - Knoebels 19. Racer - Kennywood 20. Blue Streak - Cedar Point This post takes up a lot of space and looks ugly already, so I'll say the top steel later tonight.
