^^Yes? It was included on the SF Corporate thread. Robb included it. You may have missed it. -

Lech looks amazing. Now, if only some American parks can get behind Vekoma again! -

I have a feeling the next big coaster will be something like a B&M hyper (or maybe even Mack). With the frustrations of Lightning Rod I can see them wanting to go with a manufacturer well known for quality. A B&M hyper following the terrain of the mountains could be amazing. -

CF doesn't report attendance other than a % increase or decrease over previous periods. But they do emphasis in-park spending as well as resort revenue. While CF isn't giving away the gate like SF did in the past the key thing is get people in the park and let them spend on food/drinks etc. Lots of profit margin on a $5 coke that's about 25 cents worth of soda and cup. -

After reading some of the negative feedback I may delay my trip for a year or two and hopefully this park and figure some things out. I still plan on going but I think I may wait till 2021 or 2022 now. Plus in that time frame maybe 1-2 more rides worth visiting for may open. Right now the park only has 3 adult coasters that tickle my fancy. -

Post announcement negativity is minor because so much was leaked before hand I think most people on here knew exactly what to expect. Pre-announcement negativity was definitely abound as blueprints leaked and armchair engineers figured it all out. TPR does a good job of squashing the entitled a**holes that are found on a lot of other forums and that's why I spend most of my time here. -

It also could've went something like this. "Hey B&M.. we have 25 million dollars to work with. Show was what you got!" B&M worked within the budget they were given. -

I'm sure you know this and Columbus is only about 90 mins from KI but KI is near Cincinnati, not Columbus. lol As for the ride itself, I love it. I don't get the hate when so many enthusiasts LOVE I305 and the stats are similar on paper. This ride will be fast and haul through the course and probably leave you with a "WTF just happened" experience. That fact that this hobby has turned into entitlement and disappointment over a 300' tall ride that goes 90+ mph is just sad. I know majority of comments on this forum are positive but man the internet trolls are toxic. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for a KI Giga since I305 was announced and we finally got it. I'm super stoked and will definitely make a couple drives down to KI in 2020. -

From the Cleveland Plain Dealer https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2019/08/cedar-points-150th-anniversary-in-2020-features-new-river-ride-nighttime-midway-celebration.html Still no concrete details, but a little more info pointing to a return of Paddlewheel like ride! -

Honestly why I stay away from most enthusiasts. The fact that a large portion of this community has gotten to a point where a coaster with a 300ft drop isn't good enough just bothers me. I get not liking a ride once you have actually ridden it. But stats on paper never tell the whole story. Mako is a prime example. -

$99 for a Gold Pass that includes free parking and CPS is a hell of a deal to be honest, especially since it includes the remaining 2019 and all of 2020. Curious to see what this does next year for their season pass sales and attendance. Once I get to a point where my traveling days start to slow down I may do a every other year approach between a Gold and a Platinum. -

Hoping a GG family woodie right there along the beach. Preferably with A SHED for 3 train ops. Removing it could open a lot of space for a huge Planet Snoopy/Kiddy Kingdom expansion. Even a nice B&M family invert, enlarged to handle 2 train op would be nice. Lots of options. -

Sounds kinda weird but an SBF spinner and new mat racers will probably get me out to the park next year if this is a thing. I've been trying to find time to take my nephews here and a new coaster, albeit a small family coaster may motivate me a little more. lol I actually really enjoy those SBF coasters. I wonder if it'll be the slightly bigger model? Does Waldameer typically do a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale on one day tickets? -

Have you considered the fact that you're on a roller coaster enthusiast website? A hobby full of people who complain about rides that haven't even been officially announced or built yet... -

Curious if it's the same part that shut Xcelerator down last year for a couple months. -
It's also possible with Sea World opening a GCI next year Six Flags may try to steal some thunder with something bigger then we'd expect otherwise. Definitely interested as I plan on visiting in 2020 lol. Even a smaller Baron 1898 or Mako sized B&M dive would be a huge improvement over that boomerang. Then again a few new benches and a water fountain would too.

Just checked it out on youtube. Looks like a fantastic addition to the waterpark! Awesome theme, colors and such a cool concept. Now.. Cedar Point, it's time for CPS to get a water coaster!
