  1. Probably the egyptian the,ed dark ride at Lotte World, The Swarm sort of the screens are good but there isn't much theming really? Not sure past that without listing Universal and Disney rides
  2. The front row kind of takes the shock and then it gets progressively worse toward the back. I rode the front on the inside and it was fine so i don't know. The outside seats are really bad though - I found Goudruix smoother in all honesty as fastpass was allocated the back three rows so you always got 4,5,6 which are bad. Lapbars would be a bad move though I think because of the intensity you would lean on every corner but if they do get new trains they should make them seven car trains as it really suffered from low capacity with three hour queues everyday.
  3. Probably Saw, I feel so privellidged with Thorpe's amazing flat collection! Slammer is amazing (ly unrealiable)
  4. I have heard from a reliable source that rows 1, 5 and 6 on Furius Baco are not using the outside seats presumably due to roughness. This theoretically reduces the capacity by a quarter of this already low capacity ride to only 18 seat trains. Its been happening since Tuesday or earlier. I think this may be the year it gets new trains as after riding it this year it definitely needs them! (However it is still my favourite coaster over Nemesis and Shambhala mainly because of the forces)
  5. I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that the cars had been taken off the track, there might of been a picture on screamscape.
  6. Moonsault scramble looked insane, My favourite is probably Mr Freeze or Bullet that used to be at Flamingoland it's somewhere in South America now
  7. Yes! Thanks for saying it's permanent! Maybe in a few years when the Smiler crash is just forgotton and nobody talks about it, I think they might consider adding a Zipper then. I've also never ridden a Chaos ride. I would rather have a Chaos and a Zipper in a theme park instead of a fun fair. Ever since I got grommetts (they help you hear better) I've been getting really sick after one or two rides, so I have to take anti - sickness pills. I can barely stand four or five rides at fun fairs. But at theme parks, I can get on virtually infinite rides without feeling the slightest bit sick. Is it the smell of the fun fairs? The bright or flashing lights? The loud noises like "ARE YOU READDYYYYYYY????!!!!" or screaming? I seriously have no idea how fun fairs literally kill me but theme parks do the exact opposite. That's why I want those types of rides to be at theme parks. I would LOVE to know what those rides would be like (including that massive Round Up thing they called the UFO or something). I had grommetts when I was little. It's because at funfairs everything is ran on way higher settings because they aren't being ran 200+ days a year only like 40, and not as often. The last chaos in the UK was at Lightwater Valley but they kept having maintenance issues with it and after they invested loads into it, there was a major brake down within a month
  8. You think the U.S. has an Intamin drought, at least you have good Intamins. In the UK we don't even have a decent hyper,, (though we do have Nemesis) but every good Intamin also wrecks that
  9. In the UK one of the worst parks is definitely Flamingoland (I'll cut G-Force at Drayton Manor some slack as it only has one train) All of their new coasters have no capacity they were running 3 trains on Hero the Zamperla flyer and it had a 1 hour plus queue with two perfectly fine ones sitting on the transfer track. Kumali only ran one train and the staff were having a lovely chat between each dispatch and the operator was sitting on a plastic chair with her feet up reading a magazine. (It was my first SLC so don't hate) But worst of all was this large log flume ride. They waited about 5 minutes before dispatching it and we queued for an hour and a half. After getting on the ride straight after the station there were hold sections to bview the animals - at the complete opposite side of the field and you waited there for about a minute each and there were 3 of them. Although one good thing was they vacuumed the seats while you waited.
  10. Me too. You know what? That just reminded me of my Thorpe Park trip next year. If I knew the dates when the Slammer would be open, I would totally go on it. It's like I want to go there just to ride the Slammer. It truely looks amazing and it will be my first ever Sky Swat ride. And THAT just reminded me of something else: Is the Slammer a permanent ride? I'd love to know if it is permanent. It LOOKS permanent but I just want to know if it is. Back to Zippers: I haven't ridden a Zipper yet. I've wondered how the 'No single riders' thing worked. How does being a single rider affect the car? There's also the OSTR version we've been talking about. I personally don't think how it will be that painful. I really wish there would be some sort of Chaos and a Zipper coming to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland soon. It will be my first time EVER on those! like anyone cares. Slammer is completely permanet, there are four 100 foot metal pillars in he ground! Chaos and Zipper are like the magestic flat rides I think that everyone wants to say they have ridden at least once. I doubt UK health and safety would allow a zipper though, especially now they are much more cautious after the Smiler crash
  11. Woah! That Ferris wheel does not look safe What they do with the wood in the station is so cool, only in Japan! What was your favourite park on the trip?
  12. Even at Thorpe park there is never a queue for Flying Fish - my homepark and I have still not ridden it, same with one of the coasters at Chessington and Adventure Island!
