People seem to blame I305. Intamin built what CF wanted. Not the other way around The park gives manufacturers certain criteria that they want in a coaster, and the manufacturer designs the coaster. It *was* Intamin's fault for not being able to foresee the excessive wearing away of wheels, because at the end of the day, it isn't CF or KD calculating forces or friction, it's Intamin. It isn't like CF asked for a turn with a specific radius and specific amount of forces applied to the rider/train and Intamin said "yup sure we'll make that turn to your exact specifications", CF probably just asked for an intense first turn in general and Intamin over delivered.

I think defintiley CF's lack in interest for Intamins and SF's lack of interest in investing 20M+ in a new coaster is really hurting Intamin here. After I305, its understandable that CF moved away from them, but indeed it's a shame. Although Fury 325 is my #1, it ties with Skyrush for that place, closley followed by I305 and Storm Runner. Three of my top 5 coasters are Intamin, and honestly its a toss up sometime on which order they are. Here's to hoping for the resurgence of Intamin in the US!

That drop looks so much like Skyrush! Skyrush's drop is absolutely nuts, and I'm sure this one has the potential to be better! Hopefully Intamin makes a resurgence in the US soon.

When I saw the original pictures of the track at the factory, I thought they looked increidbly ugly. Now I see how good it looks with a train on it! Anyone know the benefit of this versus a standard spine + ties combo?

I don't understand, you're the one who keeps bringing up unfounded speculation about a number of new coasters, and then you make an outburst for everyone to be quite about it? I just.... I don't even know. Anyways, as long as the ride cycle isn't as short as CW's cyclone, we should have a decent ride time.

I honestly think if we get a coaster anytime soon, it's going to be a Mack. I feel like every time you "speculate", you change the manufacturer and model of the coaster that you *think* will come to the park, and you change it on a close to daily basis. When was the last time CF went to Mack? The only reason you beleive the next coaster will be a Mack is because you want it to be a Mack. This is the kind of speculation that leads to the bashing of a new coaster because people expected something ridiculous based on nothing but their own wants (see Cedar Point & Valravn bashers). This thread is a bit tiresome to read because by now we have "speculated" almost every manufacturer/model combo in existence for 2017 or 2018. /endrant

Hey Phyter, awesome to see a list of great rides every week, is there a specific way you enter to enter to possibly get featured? I just uploaded my 2nd NL2 coaster, an RMC Iron Horse called Steel Stallion, and I was wondering if I could post the video here for you to see, or if it's just decided by finding the coasters on YouTube alone.

This is SO cool, and incredibly well done in the attention to detail and overall layout accuracy! The hill and turn curvature of Skyrush looks *slightly* asymmetrical/off, but that's just nitpicking. Seriously, well done! Any chance we could get a download? I'd love to be able to virtually go to Hershey again since I won't be able to go back for a long time!

Are you serious? What major parks (outside of Disney) do you know that operate coasters with 4 trains? Don't TTD and Maverick run 4-5 trains? Verbolten runs 5 trains.

Are you sure I decided we should buy that? I didn't even know we owned a park in Northern Ohio. Imagine the excitement Rob will have when someone mentions this wild idea to him!! I can practically see his face lighting up with excitement when some enthusiast tells him tales of the wonderful things they can do to old wooden coasters. When someone suggests that he should call RMC about Mean Streak at Cedar Point (a park he was only just reminded about by another helpful enthusiast) he'll probably run to the phone so quickly with this exciting new idea he'd never thought of before that he'll almost forget to say "Thank you! Wrong, the I305 has the only turn in NASCAR that isn't a left one.

Getting Delirium makes it MUCH less likely for us to get a coaster next year. My guess is 2018.
