  1. He thinks he got a Tempest out of their lawsuit!
  2. They could "accidentally" drop a knife taped to a bowling ball on their foot. I do this at least once a day.
  3. If they change the name to Foot Eater, and he eats his foot, they might delay its opening because of the horrible loss. More correctly, they would change the name of their next coaster that had nothing to do with the foot eating.
  4. Sort of hoping the name changes now just so we can get video of this... *Instantly regrets making promise about devouring one's own foot* I hope my big toe tastes like a McNugget when deep fried...
  5. ^Thank you for confirming my post.
  6. Unfortunately, Larry Giles hates Intamin. We won't be getting a prefab. Ever.
  7. There's arguing over what city is better in an amusement park discussion thread? Now you guys are just throwing insults at each other because of the location the person lives in. That's embarrassing honestly.
  8. I don't know guys, something about this picture makes me think that maybe it was changed. The graphic design of this countdown teaser thing makes me think of like medieval or vikings or something... it looks completely different from designs of the teasers before it... But it might just be me. I don't know. Now I'm rambling. ....? The countdown is literally the same exact font, and the logo/emblem that has been discussed over the last page is the one from the original invites.... I'll eat my foot if they changed the name.
  9. If this were a traditional leak, yes I would consider this a possibility. However, the renders we have were ripped from the code of an app. The Venn Diagram of Coaster Enthusiasts and App Developers who have the know-how to get into the code, and know how to interpret it and rip data from said app is incredibly small, and that seems like a terrible way to tease or fake enthusiasts out. It would be like dropping a hint for a new Marvel movie in the script of a planned Disney movie. If they were indeed fake, I think they'd go KI "Bat" wingrider website leak style.
  10. Alan Schilke was at the park a couple weeks ago, but he was there as part of Ride Centerline, not RMC or S&S or any subsidiary in particular. Here's to a Hyper GTX Would be 100% down for a GTX.
  11. Dude . . . the park has 2 kiddie coasters, at best, out of 13 coasters. I don't know what beemers you're riding but most are what, a 54 inch height requirement? Also, if you feel they have enough kiddie coasters, someone can argue they have enought adult coasters as well . . . Why would we need a 3rd kiddie coaster? Jarvis, normally I agree with your opinions, but minus the height requirements, most of the rides are extremely family friendly. Family friendly/good starters: -Taxi Jam (hasn't it been renamed?) -Woodstock Express -Ricochet -Avalanche -Backlot Stunt Coaster Intermediate: -Hurler & Grizzly - If these were smoother, they'd definitely be in the last category -Rebel Yell -Anaconda Top level: -I305 -Dominator -Volcano -Flight of Fear Compare that to a competitor like BG: Family/good starters: -Grover's Alpine Express -Verbolten Intermediate: -Loch Ness Monster Thrilling: -Griffon -Apollo's Chariot -Alpengeist -Tempesto Busch does incredibly well in the family department, and forest of fun and Land of the Dragons are much smaller than Planet Snoopy. In addition, the majority of their coasters are of the "top tier" variety. As you can see, we are in absolutely no shortage or need of any family friendly/kid coasters. Just because Carowinds has far more family/intermediate oriented coasters than it does thrilling coasters doesn't mean that's what KD needs as well. There are really only 3 "top tier" coasters at Carowinds - Fury, I232, and Afterburn (all of which are amazing, BTW). Just because your home park is the outlier in this situation doesn't make other parks have a sudden thirst for kiddie coasters. **Italics denote an edit
  12. I've been on Diamondback and Nitro and there was barely any airtime on either one of them. Haven't been on either to confirm. All the B&M coasters I have ridden are airtime machines. Also, strange considering that many consider either of those coasters to be the best B&M hypers. Which row were you sitting in, I only ask this because without a pre-drop on the newer hypers, the front portion of the train hardly ever gets airtime over the drop. Apollo on the other hand takes the drop going about 15mph, and even the front has great floater in the first drop. In addition, Diamondback's massively long trains means theres greater deviation in forces depending on where you sit.
  13. I watch his stuff, because it is somewhat informative and fun speculating, but yea there really isn't much credibility to it.
  14. Whoever in the SF marketing dept. did the photoshopping of an existing RMC to make that photo did a fantastic job. It's incredibly hard to do something as intricate as that train design and make it look real.
  15. Griffon definitely has one of the dullest layouts of the dive machine, and the layout for Valravn looks much more interesting. You're getting - In comparison to Griffon: -A longer/more awesome drop - full of airtime -Essentially the same immelman - still a great element -A possibly high-G turn into the MCBR -A second awesome drop -A dive loop -An awesome looking barrel roll into a helix -An airtime hill - this has some potential Looks like a great fit for CP, and I wish I had the ability to ride it for myself, but until I convince my parental units to let me drive to CP from VA, I'll stick with Griffon, which is still pretty darn fun.
  16. When you do could you PM me with the link to download, this is awesome!
  17. I honestly, have no idea what your talking about. Have you even ridden a dive machine before? They have some of the best airtime on B&Ms, and a lot of it! On a tangent, I really am fed up with people claiming that new B&Ms have no airtime. Just because you aren't getting your femurs snapped in half by the lap bar doesn't mean there's no airtime. I haven't been on a single B&M hyper or giga that hasn't had awesome airtime. Similarly, Griffon has insane airtime over both drops, and the speed hill before the splash down. Fury 325 has sideways holy crap airtime on the trebel clef, and borderline ejector on the Camelback's coming into the brakes. It's really annoying to see people comment stuff like "B&Ms have no airtime" when that is literally/factually incorrect.
  18. Wow, that is amazing, and your attention to detail is stunning! I remember seeing those exact style railings, trees, and lights while I visited. This is awesome! You should make a thread for it in the games section! I would love to see more pictures!
  19. I was trying to find the apprpriate adjective to describe such a horrific logo, and you hit the nail on the head. So, I honestly don't know why I made that post... I actually somewhat like the way it makes the Ferris wheel a bit more colorful and fun looking. But yes, #dank #yolo
  20. He did, he wen't to go get his phone...
  21. in the park there is nitro, the best b & m mega coaster and you want a big ?? no no no . let the giga coaster at cedar fair 1.) What are you even trying to say, I can't decipher this dialect... 2.) Judging by your signature, you've probably never ridden either of the B&M gigas. If you had ridden Fury 325, I'm sure you would want one at SFGAdv, as opposed to this 4d/freespin... I've never ridden a jig, but the drop in part, what is the difference? Seeing this response is only made funnier by that picture. Seriously hilarious
