  1. Biblical Mythology. Google it. All related with Behemoth and Leviathan Although the name makes sense, I still think it sounds incredibly stupid and the brings the intimidation factor to 1/10.
  2. The website says "135 foot tall second hill" or something like that.
  3. Hey Robb, I don't have to eat my foot!
  4. The VR APP IS LIVE, just rode it! Very cool!
  5. ....How in the world is a 230 foot coater an obstruction while only a couple hundred yards away from 310, 205, and 420 foot coasters? This makes no sense at all as to how it could be considered an obstruction. Also:
  6. I'm really excited to see the POV/Teaser, so I can visualize the coaster better than a sloppy NL2 recreation! I'm also really excited to see the VR app in action, I'm going to order a Google Cardboard headset just for the VR Valravn!
  7. I have never understood the complaints of Dominator's "rattle" I've ridden every row, many times this summer, and ALL of them were glassy smooth, except for one strange kink in the helix before the brake run. Seriously, it executes every element perfectly, even the cobra roll.
  8. I still think it looks more golden brown than orange. Also, I really like the colors!
  9. I don't adore it really, to me Dominator is the best coaster at the park . Volcanos launches are really amazing though and IMO they are my favorite launches on a coaster. I think people think volcano is really good because they don't get to ride it as often because of the long lines it can get, and so they don't get bored of it as easily as they would get bored of a ride that is always a walk on. One thing I love about Volcano is that it's one of the smoothest coasters I've ever been on. No rattling or headbang whatsoever. Dominator does fairly well at that but you still get some jerkiness. I wish I could experience Volcano without a rattle... I've only ridden it in the front row though... Yeah, I've only ridden it in the back half because the line's already long enough, and I am not a patient guy, so no front row for me! The line is the same travesty in any row. I'm wondering if Volcano should get four across seating. I highly doubt the track is built to withstand those kinds of forces.
  10. Am I the only one who doesn't adore Volcano? I think it's launches are great, and so is the first inversion, but after that it's somewhat boring and repetitive. I enjoy Dominator much more than Volcano to be honest, and often feel like the minority in this community.
  11. Preach it man, tell them that! Tbh the Gp is stupid in general and don't know how industry works. Sometimes I think this about us enthusiasts as well.
  12. I would be skeptical of the original leaks as well considering the name BUT, I myself dug through the app's main code and searched for the word Valravn. Well, even in the depths of the code of a leaked app (that CP would never expect anyone to ever find), the word Valravn was mentioned twice.
  13. Oh my god. The name isn't changing. I already bet my foot on it.
  14. *Trim* One trim, on the third hill/dive into helix. It is hardly notcieable, and I would never consider the trim to ruin it. At most it diminishes airtime on one hill, the other hills haul ass and own in the airtime department. To each their own I guess...
  15. No..... Land clearing didn't start on I305 until June 1st 2009....
  16. Dive Machine drops are ridiculous because it doesn't continuously get steeper and then start to level out as soon as it reaches its maximum vertical angle. Dive machines get to 90* really quickly and stay there for a good while, making the drop feel incredibly long.
  17. Yay for positivity on this thread for Valravn! I rode Griffon 8 times today, and man is that airtime ridiculously awesome, especially in the third row. The airtime is great/sustained/strong in the front as well, but in the back it is 3 seconds of borderline ejector airtime. And you guys are getting 2 taller drops and an extra hill! Have fun with the biggest dive in the world, I'm sure it'll be great!
  18. Have you ridden both of them? The ride experience is *totally* different. Skyrush is a succession of hills, airtime, and twists, while I305 is a succession of turns, transitions, and a couple hills for good measure. The ride each of them gives is totally different from each other, not to mention train design/experience.
  19. Yes, they do. They're building one for 2016 at Universal in Japan.
  20. If we did get an Intamin, I could see a mega coaster a la Expedition GeForce or Skyrush. And no, other than looks, Skyrush and I305 ride completely differently.
  21. So that's what a Lagoon Roll is... He's going to have to eat his foot while riding Cannibal. Would not be opposed if I get to ride Cannibal
  22. As to why is this argument/flame war happening on a forum for roller coasters, I may never know. Seriously, why can't we all just speculate about coasters instead of bash people because of what area of the Earth they're from. Anyways, has anyone here been on BTR at SFFT? Is it an enjoyable ride or is it like Green Lantern at SFMM?
  23. Sort of hoping the name changes now just so we can get video of this... *Instantly regrets making promise about devouring one's own foot* I hope my big toe tastes like a McNugget when deep fried... Deep fried? We're just gonna rip that sucker right off and you'll eat it RAW!
  24. Mine was Fury 325. That first drop felt like an eternity of floaty goodness, and the speed is absolutely unreal. The transitions provided nice pops of airtime before being pressed into your seat climbing up the treble clef turnaround. Then there's that holy-sh*t sideways airtime while leveling out and diving under the bridge, which is insane. Combine all that with 3 sustained strong "flojector" hills and a helix, and you've got a winner. Seriously, what an awesome coaster. B&M surprised me with those forces, and I can't wait to get back there next year for my eighth ride in it!
  25. I remember the term being used on the Kings Dominion thread, but I dont know if there was a use before it. Why dont we call it "Batman'd" or "Katun'd"? That was me! It was a concept picture of Delirium with guests standing almost in the path of the ride, they was about to get Raptored!
