What area really needs a theme park?
Henry M replied to let1gre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Milton Keynes. It is a strange place in England which has so much space and needs a major attraction. Although it has a run down Gulliver's park, it just is not giving the area face. Either Gulliver's needs to be massively changed and revived, or a brand new theme park with thrill rides should be made. -
Most Overrated coaster?

I feel Nemesis is a very good coaster, but it is shown as the king of coasters. It just is not that for me. -
Weird Coaster Facts
Henry M replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Vekoma stole arrow's designs, and they'll probably ruin RMC. Hope they've got a few tricks they aren't willing to share. Maybe someone should call RMC and warn them I only hope that RMC put in a clause that if they can't copy the track or something. We will soon know in about 4 years time when the Vekoma hybrid coaster comes out!! -

Post below any coaster you have been on that you think of as being rare (not many people have been on it) and if you are on Coaster-Count check to see how many enthusiasts actually have been on the coaster. Please post pictures if you have some, so we can all see what they are like. -
...That's all I have to say...

I think you have won the bad ideas thread! Add a drop ride onto there and you have yourself the worst park ever. (the brakes will not work)

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
Henry M replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To be fair, I was on the Funicular rail way up Tibidabo hill and had the conversation as to if it was a credit with somebody else. To be fair no, it is not, however it seems to go by what people seem to constitute a coaster as being. I mean some mine train coasters are way less thrilling than that funicular rail way, yet count as a credit! We concluded in the end that if the cable snapped and the train fell to the bottom of the hill, then it is a coaster -
Your coaster ranking Hot Buttons?
Henry M replied to Buckeye Brad's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I always follow the rule of RIDE. Basically it goes: R: Roughness (1 being rough, 10 being smooth) I: Intensity (1 being boring, 10 being really really intense) D: Duration (The longer, the higher the score) E: Elevation (1 being on the floor, 10 being on a mountain) Note the last one is not height, it is elevation because there is something so fun about a coaster on top of a hill or mountain. Height does count towards elevation though. -

The Outback, in Australia. -
At Tibidabo yesterday trying to find the best place to take a picture of the closed roller coaster. I ended up in the middle of a kids playground. Oh dear! Also I went down some paths that were supposed to be closed off, and got told off by staff. Not great.

To be perfectly honest, it looks like Maurer are trying to solve a problem that does not need to be solved.

I read somewhere that the coaster will have FORTY EIGHT seats. That a lot, especially for a wooden coaster. Because AT is so into 'so called' world firsts (Galactica comes to mind ) I wander if it will be the 'worlds first' wooden coaster with four abreast seating? -

Hi, I might be going to PA, and I wanted to know afew things. I will be going off peak on a Friday and am only interested in the rides, how long do I need to spend to really get a good go on all of them? Also, is fast pass available for purchase on the day if it gets busy? And finally, will it be busy?
