  1. Alton towers have re opened their rapids ride.
  2. I did mean fourty I doubt that. There's no such word as "fourty." I know, I was quoting him as a joke. I found it more funny than it really was.
  3. ^ Merlin use a different manufacturer to the one in Dreamworld, but as I say, they are taking no chances.
  4. Seriously congratulations. I know it feels good to get a landmark coaster as I have just hit 50 and am elated. It is even better when it is a smaller landmark rather than 1000, as to me it is less sad and more just that you ride coasters for fun. Well done!
  5. Merlin have closed all their rapid rides by the looks of things. Alton Towers rapids are closed, along with Thorpe Park's. I thought they would do this and they have. I guess they are taking no chances, does any one know if other parks have taken this precaution and closed their rapid rides?
  6. This is very sad and a horrific accident. Yet another accident in 2016. I really hope the source of the accident is found so this never happens again. I have been on this ride when I was in Australia and it was the best rapids I have been on, but there (like most rapids) was no seatbelt or harness.
  7. Who thinks these LIM's will roar, or will they scream?
  8. Pretty awesome. Why do the Intamin LIM's sound so different to others? Most LIM's scream but all the modern Intamin ones roar.
  9. True that^ but honestly if your coming from another country your wasting your time queuing for DBGT, its absolute garbage unless you in a big group, and even then its more funny than scary. Yes, it is bad. I am still going to try it again next year to see it is it improved.
  10. I did mean fourty but I was on the phone and it auto corrected to four. Obviously it cannot launch in four seconds!!!
  11. Does it count as a cred if you ride it in your dream?
  12. ^ You can either get a really good or really bad ride on Nemesis Inferno. I rode it on annual pass night first and in second row and it was fun but pretty force-less. For the first time ever I rested my arms on the arm rests instead of holding on or putting my hands in the air. HOWEVER, back row, in the rain, is something very special. Very forceful and the loop . By the way, if you were too scared to ride the ghost train you should not be, it is not scary at all.
  13. Brown RMC track is on sight, so when can we officially name it brown streak?
  14. Fake leg arrived in the post yesterday, sacred the poo out of me at first.
  15. It could be a big dipper train with four rows?
  16. Stealth was designed to launch every fourth seconds at the most.
  17. ^ Just played neon coaster. Actually pretty fun and I say bring it back!
  18. Add in the Gruffalo ride at Chessington.
  19. Wind...the reason for smiler...
  20. Chessington has announced their new ride for 2017! In 2017 a 'new' ride will be opening themed to the Gruffalo! This could be really good as long as they make it feel authentic and magical without being tacky or patronizing, it should be a really good move for the park. It is most likely moving into the building where Bubbleworks used to live and use the same ride system, just instead of a chaotic factory Chessington have said the riders will come "face to face with the Gruffalo". I really hope they do a good job on this one.
  21. My friends do not want to have fastrack, so I think I will get three rollercoasters in the dark. Which three are the best to do in the dark?
  22. As part of their hobby, but then it turned into a part time business, then full time.
  23. I know right! I was really surprised by how it turned out. I have created two adverts for the attraction so far. The first is not great, by the second is pretty cool. Featuring 'Faceless master': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKyG4TtHri4 Featuring Urban Skeleton':
