The second home made costume has been crafted. Yet again, it cost £0, as it is all stuff I have found in my house. The face mask will be changed with a skull bandanna, which I have ordered, so actually it will cost £1. The urban skeleton has been summoned. This room in my house makes a nice backdrop for the image. Who ever plays this role will jump out at people. Hoodie, ripped jeans, gloves and bandanna is all this one consists of. Simple, but the hoodie does one extra trick... Oh yeah!

I never said it did have a double station, however if it did, wow. Look at Taron, it has really quick dispatches. -

Is is so annoying, I will be so close to this park when I do my coaster trip next year at Cologne, yet it might as well be in China It does look pretty epic though with all the unique elements. -

Cable launches need time imbetween launches to reset, however LIMs do not. This means that with a duel station, this thing could have an epic throughput and a train launching less than a minute imbetween. -
That was UV paint and I don't have the facilities to install a place for it to go and it is expensive. As someone who has worked on it on a professional level, do you have any tips for the actors?

Your guilty pleasure ride
Henry M replied to DanTheBooker's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nobody I know seems to love Oblivion quite as much as me. Early ride time was heaven for me, but maybe not for my friend who had had enough after a few rides on it. -
Glad you had some fast fun!

Thanks for that. Those ideas were going to be my focus points (hence the dark costume on the last page), and having someone professional guide me further in that direction helps. Regarding the mask idea, do you think it would be a good idea to get some glow in the dark paint and paint them all so they are even more unnerving?

^ Two things, one, thanks for the serious suggestion, and secondly, YES!! I had completely forgotten about that soundtrack and I love it AND it would fit the theme well.
-
Right, I have a small decision to make. Which of these soundtracks would best suit the attraction to build up tension? 1. Smiler (45 min outdoor loop) 2. Helix (30 min launch platform loop) 3. Saw the ride (5 min outdoor loop) 4. Colossus (9 min queue loop) 5. Flug der Damon (5 min queue loop) Or any others.

I have created my first costume, it looks pretty good, and total coast is £0. So, what you see before you is actually a black edited gown as the main part, two mosquito nets for the faceless effect (inspired by your photo), some black-ish trousers, paint balling gloves, some old and too small rugby skins with colored branding bits taped over (just needed something black and tight for my body) and some black socks.

Weird Coaster Facts

Because stealth!!! If some people see me post that Stealth was originally designed with a different layout, I would get so much hate. LOL. That layout does look unrealistic but cool. -
Let me check that...yes, yes I am.

What's your favorite Flat ride?
Henry M replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me in no order: Slammer Uppswingit Samurai (only on intense setting though) AIR XXL Höjdskräcken Apocalypse Hangover I actually have many great flat rides which I would want to put here. Often I can get a better experience on a ride than any rollercoaster. -
^ I wrote in very small letters £100 for everything. The room(s) being used are almost perfect for the use, so building the route will max coast £5. Regarding sets, I am hoping to create mostly very basic sets, but with actors doing disturbing things (closely followed by a jump scare). I am hoping to make the finale really good, and spend most of the budget on it, and have a fairly high quality set to end it off, however even then, I will re use random items and change them.

^ Stand up seats are awkward to get into anyway, I have been on two at Drayton Manor, and at both times I had no clue how to get into it.

B&M Restraints: Old vs. New
Henry M replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
QFT. Everything about this post is pretty much exactly how I feel about the B&M vest restraints. I really wish B&M would just go back to the old school harness that they used for ages. This is exactly why I LOVE SheiKra and Griffon, yet if I never ride Valravn again I'll die a happy person, the vest restraints KILL the ride. Prior to riding it, I thought the vests might put a damper on things. Having now ridden, this is not exaggeration. In general, I feel like I'm part of the damn train with the vests. I'd hate to see this become the norm. I don't think on some rides, feeling like you are almost being grabbed hold of is a bad thing. On the Swarm it adds to the theam of it, like you are being carried off. -

I never EVER thought brexit would have such disasters effects. I am living in denial. That is all I have to say. -
One of the first steps, permission and getting volunteers are now complete. I am currently designing a layout and concept images.
