Today, we took a few hours to our local beach mainly to test out the homemade skimboards my brother and I worked on. They did work. The day first started off at McDonalds (of course) and then off to the beach. I've never ridden a skimboard before, so I was in for a new challange. After a few skims and letting one of my friends try, the tail snapped and began not working as it was sucking up water and becoming heavy. We moved on to burying my friend and my cousin (Squirmy_Wormy, who never shows up on here) and added a few suggestive features. The day ended with me having a 102.2 degree fever and a massive headache that would make Vekomas as smooth as the smoothest glass. Here's the pictures! Next up, Mike and my cousin Heather (Squirmy Wormy) get buried alive! Random shot for you bird enthusiests. Finally (Before I snapped the board) I get a decent ride, about 5 feet...big accomplishment! Gravity also wanted to play tricks on me as well. Gravity took over on my friend, Mike as he tried riding one. He rode 1 foot and shot out. First ride on the skimboard...Little did I know, I was bound to fall seconds after the picture was taken Finally, a shot of me and the prototype board that didn't work and the broken board. Why does my brother look like one of those Abercrombie surfer dudes?? Little did they know, they became sand sculptures as sand people. PG13!!

In a Popular Science magazine a few years ago, they featured an article on coaster safety. They went into G forces and how much we can handle. Yes, plopping on your sofa or beanbag would push a small burst of 20 g's on you, and a sneeze would apply 10 g's. Jumping off a few steps did about 20 I think as well.

Avatar contest idea?

Let's test and see...(I had to do some cropping) EDIT: It is a bit on the blurry side, unfortunately...We should do regular photo editing contests, probably monthly or something like that if we want to go into detailed pictures. Test -
I remember looking at Demon at PGA when I was little and it looked like it was some kind of hyper coaster...it seemed that tall. Now, looking at it, it's only just 100 feet. I also remember looking at Kong from the freeway (before I've visited SFMW) and thought it was unique and monstrous until after riding it and realizing it's a clone.

What ride are you at Disneyland?
Angry_Gumball replied to c0sterfreek's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin: a wild ride through the back alleys of toontown! The only ride with a PG sense of humour in the G rated world of Disneyland, you are zany, wild, and a little bit of a loose screw. Energetic and colorful, you go at full speed, even though your taxi-car vehicles actually have four flat tires! Despite your older humor, you are a kid at heart and kids most relate to your cartoony world and like you the best. You've been know to make the adults a little queasy and a litte bit dizzy. You leave your visitors dazed, a little confused, but more often, extremely amused. You take us to the places we'd never see in a ride featuring the straight-laced Mickey, but somehow you're still all Disney. -
Do You Sleep with a Teddy Bear?

Once in a while, our fat cat will do a cannonball onto my bed and curl up, otherwise, I do not sleep with stuffed animals. -
Avatar Theme Week #4 - VOTING TIME!!!!
Angry_Gumball replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That DVD was pretty good! I'm happy with it (but there wasn't any pocket fluff!). I've watched it many times over and showed it to my friends. I was like "WTF???" at first when the DVD came in the mail, seeing an envelope labeled "Angry_Gumball." Anyway, my idea for the next avatar contest would be adverts for SFMM's Fence: The Ride. -
Um...where's my cd player at??? Oh well, there's nothing in there anyway.

Here's my desk...sorry for the mess but I've been busy the past few days as well as finishing an english paper. Pardon my mess!

5/10 I don't quite get it.

I've never blacked out or come close to it on any coaster, including Goliath's "helix of doom." My friend, however, did on Top Gun at PGA. He remembers going down the first drop and then getting off of the ride assisted by his brother.

Defunct Thrill And Kiddie Rides
Angry_Gumball replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I remember "The Edge" (First Gen Intamin freefall) standing in it's bright orange glory at PGA. Yankee Clipper Boat Flume at PGA, which had crossing drops with Logger's Run as well. I also remember the Hanna Barbara themed carousel at PGA. Let's not forget Triple Wheel there too. -
www.ratemyprofessors.com is another one as well, with some accurate ratings for some of my professors/teachers I've had in college so far.

For the longest time, I've always looked up different park pictures and one day, just as one of my random visits, I noticed that the forums were added, and I joined...which happened to be on my birthday.

How many times the same ride in a day ?
Angry_Gumball replied to mingsai's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I did 11 consecutive rides on the Giant Dipper a few years back, and although it's non-coaster, I did 6 rides on a topspin and regretted it as I left the park.
