Who will break 500 feet?
Angry_Gumball replied to coasterlover420's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Honestly, bigger isn't always better. I realized that after riding S:TE and how much more fun I had on a coaster only 70 feet. Yea, the record breakers look intimidating but honestly, I think I'd wind up let down. -
Always be prepared (such as having kleenex) incase your nose seems to be runny that day. It would be all bad to have snot flung everywhere while going on a coaster. It would also be bad to have a bloody nose due to heat while half way thru the line for a coaster, which happened to me. I'm glad it didn't happen on the ride it's self otherwise there would have been a bloody mess...

Cool site for working coaster models
Angry_Gumball replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Random, Random, Random
it's because it's scaled down. Even the Knex coasters have this hi-speed feel to it. I've seen a Scorpion set which goes for $275 currently sitting at $127. -
If I were you, I'd get it. Yes, 30 bucks seems a lot but it's worth it. Ok, I paid $25 for it but it's still worth the $30. Depending on your machine and how many peeps you let in the park, FPS is greatly improved. Not to mention, there's quite a few new rides, not some upgrades to theming like Wacky Worlds or Time Twisters for RCT2. (Still haven't bought it) Overall, I'd recommend getting it...you may get lucky and find it for $25 at Best Buy or if you have a Fry's Electronics in the area, get it there. Side note: Storm runner track is weird, I'll agree but it's actually kinda cool as well; making a beefed up kingda ka/ttd.

Disneyland, home to the Tiny Castle
Angry_Gumball replied to dsngiem's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Maybe their castle's been in the water too long...if you know what I mean -
Wouldn't really call this a fight, but more like road rage on a go kart track recently at a local Boomers. I was just racing around using my mad skills passing other sunday drivers and road blocks and then this teen age white gangster wannabe and his dad (old enough to be my grandpa) doubleteam and try ramming me into the wall. After a lap of dealing with their stupidity, I rammed them back and tailgated the kid the entire lap through. The end result was me being pulled off the track on the last lap. Result of that, I talked to the Park Manager on my next visit and my unlimited ride/game band was given free. Yet I had a blast pulling off my road rage!

What would you wait for 6 hours for?
Angry_Gumball replied to zaneymon's topic in Random, Random, Random
Going to SFMM...actually, there's no choice in the matter when you're going by car as it's a 6 hour drive for me. -
I had a couple verbal fights a while ago. The first one, I mentioned here before about how my cousin and I spotted and vocalized about a group of some teenage preppy valley girls (like 3 of them or so) coming back in line after they left (or they weren't even there to begin with). The ride op heard the friction going on as we got closer and he made them have to wait it out while we got to ride. The second bit of friction happened at SFMW after my brother and I used our complimentary ride pass to ride the eversobusy Zonga. The ride op directed us to go take a spot so we grabbed the front. A group of some teenage girls began to whine and complain "Oh, that ain't fair!" so we told them to shut it. They were mad because we took the seat in which the airgates never opened for them yet. More friction continued and finally the train was dispatched. I waved at them and smiled as they were angered at us. It's funny to get people looking for troube mad My solution to line jumpers besides vocalizing about the issue is to dileberately block the queue if they walk past you. If they hop the railings while you find your way through the maze, then you vocalize.

Kicked the seat infront of me on a SLC and on Medusa...not really dangerous but somewhere I read mentioned that you could break your ankles or something like that. Excluding that, more like a flat ride, I almost rode an Intamin Second Gen freefall w/o restraints. Why do we say "WWW.blah blah..." www as in Double Yoo Double Yoo Double Yoo rather than just World Wide Web. "World Wide Web" is less syllables than "WWW"

How NOT to ride a Nautic Jet!
Angry_Gumball replied to DragonKhan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Main reason why we will probably see one is because people in the US tend to get sue-happy. It's sad how money hungry/greedy people can ruin some of the coolest things. -

I'd love to see one of those but really don't see one coming due to strict safety reasons. -
How do you get to Photoshop and how does it work?

www.journeyed.com has educational discounts as well. They should have Photoshop there. -

You could always try the diet version of Photoshop: Photoshop Elements. Google could probably help you from here. -
A big THANK YOU to the Ass-sistants!

Of all coaster sites, this is the most well behaved site I've seen, even when just you and Elissa ran it. If any more mods are needed, I'm more than willing to help but I doubt more mods are needed here due to our well behaved selves -
