Watch a SFMM video!

Yours seemed to work...now to try the rest. EDIT: Just saw Elissa weirding out on the video, so that tells you there that everything's working! -

^^Actually, I don't think some of the more recent NL tracks uploaded here seem to work right. Take a look here. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1341 This one's a raw NL track. No track packager, no zip. Somewhere it's corrupting those too. The only thing that seems not to be corrupted are uploaded pictures. Hopefully the problem's ironed out as I'll have some tracks coming soon (If I don't get lazy ofcourse!) -
The "Say Something Random" Thread

Yay! I'm finally done with my 8-page paper for college. I had to write an 8 page synthesis on the books Night, Dawn, and a 3rd source which I used Finding Nemo. I had to write about how they're related using 3 different main points...Finished it in a whopping 2 hours! -

Not working here either. I think for some reasons, uploaded files are getting corrupted between our computers and the server. I know that Robb has looked into this before with one of my NL tracks but for some reason, things aren't quite resolved. -
Online Super Smash Bros, eh? Sounds good to me! I'll just use my wireless internet router for it to connect to the internet. I wonder what it's price tag is going to be? I also like the idea of backwards compatability to the point you can play SNES games and stuff. Lastly, I like it's design. Reminds me of a new age PS2.

Why Do You Love Theme Park Review?
Angry_Gumball replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Top 10 reasons why this site owns the others out there: 10: No one gives a rat's arse if my NL tracks suck 9: Everyone is themselves here unlike other sites I've gone to 8: You don't have to be "" in order to be known here 7: Great admins, if not the best I've seen...they do not abuse their power, just simply ask for good grammer. 6: The forums, of course 5: The variety of users here...even some in my area for once! 4: Great videos 3: No Poopup ads or imbedded banner ads..those annoy me to death 2: Love the pictures and their humorous captions 1: It's Theme Park Review! What is there not to like about it?? Exactly my point! -

It won't open, for the same reason why none of my tracks I uploaded won't work either. Looks great by the screenie. About disappearing handmade tracks, I'm noticing that too. I will still continue to do handmade tracks as I'm not the best with math that's used in Elementary. -
Why Do You Love Theme Park Review?
Angry_Gumball replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd have to say I like it here simply because of the strong sense of humor, great videos and an excellent community, very down to earth. I must add that Robb and Elissa are great peeps running a great site, in which I've been a long time visitor of (First visited in 1998 or 1999 and continued visiting it since) -
Lego Land!

Check out their videos. The rides really do work. -
http://members.tripod.com/~legorides/ I happened to find this doing some random google search. It's a whole fairground setup built entirely out of legos. Someone had a lot of spare time on their hands, but I'd check this out...pretty amazing.

New ride in my backyard park.
Angry_Gumball replied to coasterdude5's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
At my friend's house we built a ghetto coaster using 2 bed rails and a red wagon. The wagon was towed to the top without the riders, then they were strapped in by a chain and padlock and released. It was pretty fun as you felt like it was going out of control. We also had a ginormous swing that was pulled by a rope below. I reached rooftop heights while losing my stomach. Lastly, here at my house I built the "Skateboard" ride by propping plywood on some crates and ride the skateboard on my butt down when I was younger. We attempted a second hill but my uncle came out and told us to take it down before someone gets hurt...that sucked. Lastly, I had a bed freefall ride only I experienced. My cousin sat on the top of the bed and tied a blanket or rope around me, lift me up (He was strong enough) and at the last second he released me as I fell onto a hard floor...it hurt. Never again! -
There is plenty to pick from in California but up this way coasters don't go any higher than 150 feet due to a close by airport or city ordinances. It puzzles me though that Drop Zone is one of the only rides in Nor Cal to break the 200 foot barrier while the rest of the coasters @ PGA are no higher than 100 feet. Something's weird there. I am glad to have a well known classic in the area (Giant Dipper) and I'd have to say, it kicks the snot out of some other rides in the area. Anyway, I haven't tried any out of state coasters yet but am happy with what I do have around here: 2 parks, one 25 minutes away and one 45 minutes away, and another an hour away.

Yestderday, I went with a group of friends (well actually it was for a birthday) to Boomers in Livermore. Sorry, no photos =( I had the camera ready but decided not to bring it as I would probably get wet and stuff. We got there around 3:00. We did the unlimited ride pass so that meant re-rides. Now I just wish they had a coaster but anyway, here's how the day went: First ride- We went on the bumper boats becaus it was getting hot. I just squirted my brother and his friends while spinning donuts on the water. After getting wet I headed off to the go kart track. Next 6 rides or so: I just kept reriding the go karts and getting first place. Finally, I took a break and got some pizza. I then went onto the bumper boats with all of our group and they all ganged up on me. I was cornered and my boat was stuck. I came off dripping wet, head to toe. Honestly, I didn't think I'd get that wet on them as the squirt is not like a super soaker. So, more rides on the go karts. Now here's where some problems came in. I accidentally spun some random kid out and did about 3 laps before he had any help which wouldn't have came if I didn't stop by the station and inform the attendants. More rides on the go karts and finally took a break. I went into the arcade for some DDR but the token machine wasn't working. Back to the go karts for the last ride. Here's where some idiots came in. Main rule stressed is NO BUMPING. I can see accidental bumps but not like what has happened. To begin with, in the station some kid behind the driver behind me kept ramming into us while waiting. As the race begins, this ghetto wangster-like dude and his father (old enough to be my grand father) were ramming me into the walls when I tried to pass them up. I finally got tired of it and started ramming back and nearly spun out Mr. Ghetto Boy. (This teenage kid had some of the most ridiculous looking teeth: It looked like aluminum foil on his teeth or that he had tons of cavitys and they put caps on 'em.) I also rear ended his father a few times due to annoyance. Last lap of the race comes and my car is shut off. The attendent tells me to pull to the side as I sat out the last lap. Nothing was done with Mr. Ghetto Boy and his dad. I spotted them sitting together in the arcade as I told one of my friend about how immature the father was and how people like to pull chicken sh** moves. Finally headed home still wet from the bumper boats around midnight. Pluses of the day: Go karts, unlimited rides Minuses of the day: Poor capacity and loading issues with bumper boats, reckless go kart drivers and lazy attendents.

Probably any dreams that involve me actually getting onto the coaster and riding it. Last one where I actually made it on was a while back. I went on this woodie and it had some amazing air time on it. The end of the ride led to a TPR meet at KBF. Just met everyone and grabbed my camera before I woke up.

Afraid of coasters as a kid?
Angry_Gumball replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was 13 before I hit my first inversion: a Vekoma Boomerang (Knott's Boomerang to be exact) although I rode some of the bigger coasters (well not that big) like Giant Dipper and Grizzly (boo!) when I was younger. -
Name That Park!!

Here's a tough one...rather than doing a whole park, here's a section of a park that's been photoshopped for increased difficulty -

Not sure what the above one is...by the looks of the track, it looks like a Neon Jubilee Odysee. Here's a coaster to take a stab at I took a while back (that should be a hint right there) -

Help Please!
Angry_Gumball replied to XLRBR's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Think of it as drawing. In a nutshell, it's just plotting nodes and shaping the track section with the handles. Do yourself a favor and read the help guide so that you become familiar with the terminology so you don't get confused. -

Worst Movies You Have Seen
Angry_Gumball replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
I would definitely have to say Napolean Dynamite...Yes, I like random but that was just too random. I didn't get it. My friends down the street love that movie for some reason but I thought it was just a waste. -

Ladies and Gentlemen: I present you the true inverted coaster!!! Ok...I was bored one night and wondered what a coaster would look like if it were upside down and mounted on a ceiling and had sky below, so I reversed the physics (put LIMS on the uphills and brakes on the downhills to give the illusion that it's operating upside down...it did not work). Well, here it is. Weee! I'm truely inverted!
