Waterparks Discussion
Angry_Gumball replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My local parks are Waterworld Concord & Sacramento, Raging Waters San Jose, PGA's Boomer Bay, and the former Shadow Cliffs, now California Splash when it opens. Shadow Cliffs is a regional park that had 4 mat slides (which were fun imo but after a while, you'd get tired of just the same 4 slides). Now, they have California's longest lazy river, a wave pool, a toilet bowl, the 4 original slides, verticals, racers, and some tubed (enclosed) slides according to the concept art. -
Here's a quick link to the recent track I uploaded. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1358 It's a NLPack file that's zipped. (NLPack file is like a zipped NL Track that holds 3ds and car textures if you didn't know). Hope this helps and thanks to both of you for looking into this problem. I would rather not have to link to other sites for a track download and pull people off this site and make 'em have to register just to DL a track...I can't do that. Again, thanks!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Angry_Gumball replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Sadly, last coaster I rode was in 2003 still. -
I'm bumping this topic again due to my 3rd uploaded track again not opening. Can someone please help? The track file size is only 79.38KB. I'm still not understanding why this is going on.

for anyone who has a 14 year old sence of humor
Angry_Gumball replied to M_Force_4_ever's topic in Random, Random, Random
That was hilarious...gotta love the engrish/bad translations. -
This shot reminds me of No Limits set on the Heavy Fog environment (see below). These recent abandoned amusement park findings gave me a new idea for a scenario for RCT3: Rebuild a broken down park using existing half constructed coasters to complete the park. Too bad I didn't spot any engrish. *provided that I can pull off a pumpless track BTW: this is a sneak peak of my next coaster project* (see footnote above)

Definitely a cat person. I also love baby Iguanas and tame snakes.

9/10. MForce looks sweet but isn't that a long name to have to type in when you log on another computer to check the forums? -
2 words: Oh and No! I don't really care for boybands and never cared for Backstreet boys. Atleast it gives preteen girls and boys something to listen to if they are limited on what they can listen to...

Question to ask as I've bombed out of the WWS NL matchup contest...Will there be any NL/RCT2/3 contests on this site in the future? Here's a few ideas to think about afterall we're all crazy: Deadliest ride contest, ultimate prototype coaster contest (that's safe ofcourse), reviving an abandoned park in RCT3 or RCT2 just to name a few. I understand you guys are pretty busy and all, so this is just a possibility in the future that I was thinking about...or if users can host their own provided it's approved by you guys. Just curious and want to bring out the competativeness and creativity in us.

SFMM rct3
Angry_Gumball replied to Goliathdude's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I think it should be ready soon as the park was almost completed as of his last update (March 7th) http://rctgrotto.coastergrotto.com/news.jsp?argId=284 That's the direct link to the SFMM project. -
Well, you could always get one of these: http://www.bfgtech.com/5200_256.html That's what I use but unfortunately, it still has it's unavoidable lags...NL runs smooth though. My computer specs are 1.8 ghz AMD Athlon XP 1800 processor, 624 megs of ram, 80 gig HDD and of course, that video card I linked...got that for $130 at my local electronics store. Hopefully, Soaked will not be a resource hog and run the game smoother.

Do you have a link to the story? I've been watching the news on this Wendy's Fingerfood stuff and nothing confirms where the finger came from. Recently though, the lady who "found" the finger got arrested for some other reason.

What is the craziest thing you've done on a bike?
Angry_Gumball replied to socalMAN123's topic in Random, Random, Random
Number of things: To begin with, this was when I first rode my bike: Some friends and I went riding around and I kept running into newspaper stands so I finally got off and kicked it due to anger...(not crazy but it was funny) Next up: A friend and I were racing around my neighborhood and as I got to the finish line coming around the curve, I decided to pull my brakes...pulled many lateral g's as I was flung off the bike and slammed into the street while my bike finished (and won) the race for me. It knocked the wind out of me in the process so I could have cared if I won or not. Last but not least, a few years ago my sister's b/f (now husband) and I were on our way to a bike shop to get a new bike chain. We decided to go down this short but steep road in which I always did. As we got to the bottom, I decided to move over to the sidewalk and didn't look behind: I clipped my sis's b/f's bike and I was thrown off into the middle of the street while my bike continued onto the sidewalk. (Ok, my bike officially does not like me as it keeps ditching me. ) I rolled from the middle of the street to the sidewalk and had to walk all the way back home, in which I could barely do...a week later we went to DLR as I worked off the soreness walking around and waiting in lines. -
These people just have too much time on their hands...but here it is. http://gprime.net/video.php/nintendothemesacappella Zelda theme is the funniest followed by the tetris.

The "Say Something Random" Thread
Angry_Gumball replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
I saw a cute squirrell get hit by a car earlier but he/she survived as it limped and ran the rest of the way across the busy street. I thought it's head was crunched at first but obviously it wasnt being as it still ran to the sidewalk. You can say he was literally a "Screaming Squirrell"! -

No dice here either. No real player on my laptop (too lazy to DL it) and WM had an error, same as above error. -
What's with this weird CA weather? Yesterday it was sunny and warm as well as this morning and now it's all cloudy, rainy and thunderstorms. Is it just the bay area experiencing this?

The "What Sports Do You Play" Thread
Angry_Gumball replied to coasterdude5's topic in Random, Random, Random
Used to skate until I gained weight and snapped my board....thinking of getting back to it again before I fall attempting an ollie. -
Well, I wouldn't quite say it's a new waterpark but it's one major improvement to a small waterslide section in a regional park. According to http://shadowcliffs.com/calsplash.htm they will have california's longest lazy river as it looks to be, the 4 original slides which are old school hill slides (they're fun!) as well as some new tube slides, a couple vertical slides, wave pool and a toilet bowl! (This is based on their concept art) Now, the site says May of 2004 but I'm assuming it will probably open this year. Their site is still under construction but you can see a small section of the lazy river with a wave pool in the background and further in the background, I think I can see the starting slide of the toilet bowl. Let's hope this opens soon so I can visit it this summer. www.californiasplash.com is their page that's under construction. Not much to see yet =(
