  1. They already have a section about "Old Valleyfair", it's called Route 76.
  2. It should be fairly similar. From the article:
  3. ^That sounds incredible! The only thing I am worried about is that they said that tickets will be under $20, and seperate from admission/wristband. I really hope that it is on the low end of that proposed number (Under $10), I just don't want it to be $15-$20 a ride. It's awesome that they are adding this, though! EDIT: I just re-read it, and somehow I missed the 25 minute ride time! Maybe $15-$20 isn't that over-priced (But it is definatly steep)!
  4. Paula, you said that Walmart and IGA will be carrying Thunderbird Ice Cream, but I believe that it will only be available in 27 states when I know that Wal-Mart is located in more than 27 states. Is Minnesota one of the states carrying this ice cream?
  5. It almost reached 70* F today! We even got the motorcycle out for a pretty long ride a couple days ago! I love this time of year, when it isn't too hot or too cold. It lasts about 2 weeks.
  6. ^^^ I really liked that old neon sign. Things change, I guess.
  7. According to Google Maps, its about 1.5 hours
  8. Can you please show me where you found this?
  9. What time did the park open that day? Fixed this for you. An hour? That is crazy! Does anyone actually go to the park?
  10. Hey guys, about how long do you think it would take to do all the coasters at Michigan's Adventure on a Monday in early June? If it doesn't take too long, than I might be able to get there and experience Shivering Timbers!
  11. Yeah. I mean I get the unfortunate placement of the buckle, but I can't think of a more comfortable train design than the millennium flyers. The RMC trains aren't bad, but they've got the shin bars which would be unnecessary on a GCI, and outside of that your other option is pretty much PTCs. Those are far worse. Or we could just put High Roller trains on everything, just without the seat belts! Seriously, High Roller's trains are like couches.
  12. ^^That's the first time that I have ever heard a complaint about Millennium Flyers. Those things are remarkably nice.
  13. You check TPR's Facebook before you even look at your notifications (Guilty of this everytime I log on to Facebook).
  14. This is exactly how I feel about it. I just really don't understand why everyone keeps saying these trains should be replaced. They work fine and are comfortable, so there is no need to change them. They should use the money for something else, like a new flat, a new restauraunt, new trash cans, whatever! I just really don't see the need for new trains.

  16. So, we are planning on another day for a trip we plan to do, but something came up and we had to change a lot of things for scheduling. Well, this change gave us an additional day to the trip and I'm wondering what we should do with it. Our options look like Michigan's Adventure and Indiana Beach. Which park would you guys suggest we go to, and is it possible to do Michigan's Adventure and Indiana Beach in one day (Michigan's Adventure hours are 10-6 and Indiana Beach is 11-8 this day)? Thank you!
  17. Guys, remember that Valleyfair is right next to a river, and rivers like to flood during the spring. I'm not sure what the Minnesota River's water levels are right now, but flooding could be a reason for the late opening.
  18. ^I mis-read your post, sorry. I saw lounge chairs in your post so I probably just changed "cabana" to "chair" in my head.
  19. Raspberry bismarks are taste pretty good!
  20. Pretty much my thoughts as well. What just happened? By the way, that picture looks incredible!
  21. This exactly, people are more than willing to take a picture for you. One time when I was in Duluth, I was taking some pictures of Lake Superior, and a guy approached me asking if I wanted my picture taken in front of the lake. I would much rather take a few seconds of my day to take someone's photo than to have a bunch of people with three foot long sticks walking around not aware of their surroundings.
  22. I'm pretty sure they put those there for parents to watch their kids... ... And they wanted more chairs (I think that this was discussed earlier in the thread, I could be wrong, though).
  23. That is incredible! The ride just keeps going and going! Great job!
  24. Como Town will be opening a new coaster called "Tiger Trax" on April 25th, this photo has been released by Como's Facebook Page.
  25. No, if they got a wooden coaster, I would expect something like Little Dipper at Little Amerricka. Como is mainly a park for young children.
