  1. Or, you discovered the Pac Man thing from TPR's Facebook, so you immediatly search pretty much every major park in America to play it on.
  2. Oh, that makes sense. Thanks for the info.
  3. I don't think this is the main panel, but I did find this in the Park Index. That is the Launch Panel. The button on the top left is E-stop, top right is Ride Stop. Bottom left is Park Train, this is used after a ride stop (when ride stop is used the train parks before the transfer table) this fires off some of the LIMs and pushes the train onto the table. The middle button is the Remote Table Transfer, this button when used in conjunction with table transfer selector switch at the main panel allows the either transfer table to be moved either from load to launch position or launch to load position. The ride transfers automatically after a cycle is complete. The final button is the Launch Enable button, when used in conjunction with the Launch buttons on the main panel this launches the train (obviously). Unfortunately since I'm still currently employed by the park I can't provide a picture of the main panel as that violates company policy. It's not overly complicated. Two launch buttons. Two transfer track selector switches, one for each side. Then everything else is a typical panel setup, including Block Lights, Station "A" Area, Launch Area, Free Running Area, Boost Area, and Station "B" Area. Wow, thanks for all the info! Just curious, how does taking a picture of a control panel violate company policy?
  4. This is the Holiblog that was posted a couple pages back. http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2015/03/27/values-much-free-soft-drinks/
  5. I saw that Worlds of Fun posted the event schedule on their website (Not Coasting for Kids website, the event page on Worlds of Fun website) Worlds of Fun Schedule: 8:30 - 9:15 am - Check in at WORLDS of Fun front gate 9:30 - 10:30 am - Worlds of Fun ERT on Detonator 11 am - 1 pm - Ride MAMBA 1 - 2 pm - Lunch, awards, prizes, shenanigans, Haunt plans update 2 - 4 pm - Ride PROWLER 4 - 5 pm - Ride PATRIOT
  6. YOLO has always been high on my list. You only live once, you would think that that's a given. The only place I'm OK with it is the word filter on this site.
  7. I do read these e-mails, and that's the reason for this post What I realize, though, is that I rarely click the links, because I've already read the reports/news that are featured in them. I do think that they would be helpful to someone who doesn't check the forums that often.
  8. I don't think this is the main panel, but I did find this in the Park Index.
  9. I tried to make a 2015 signature banner out of last year's for Coasting for Kids. IF any Team TPR Members want to use this, go right ahead.
  10. It's a joke. Steelhawk, Thunderhawk, Skyhawk, Nighthawk. Also, Intimidator 305 and Fury 325
  11. I'm pretty sure that he meant the Excalibur part of the park, which is a pretty long walk for only a couple rides.
  12. This should answer your question.
  13. I don't care what kind of french fries those are, but it is not worth waiting 50 minutes. Also, is the woodie the one that that guy motorcycled on? It kinda looks like it (In terms of colour).
  14. I meant that I don't know where the employee dorms are.
  15. Exactly. I'm sorry, but where exactly is this (In relation to a ride, preferably to give me an idea).
  16. So, I won a Bag-O-Crap in January for being a "Top Poster" in December, and it came yesterday. All I can say is WOW! IT'S HUGE! I tried really hard to fit everything in one picture, but there was just too much (An excellent problem), so I took 5. I seriously can not believe how much you guys fit into one box (And I can't believe you are willing to give all this out). 17. Wait, does that say a "high speed inversion"? I always thought that the low speed of the inversion was one of the best parts. By the way, my daredevil name is "Crazy Tight Rope", I don't get it.
  18. Wait, Wild Thing is too loud but Renegade is no problem? I'm confused. Also, Wild Thing doesn't need new trains or modified track, people are generally happy when they get off, so it's doing its job. Quoted for truth.
  19. ^^Please no, I like how Steel Venom looks, however I'm all for another twisting spike (But I think we need to stay realistic here, I don't think they are going to alter the track of any rides anytime soon)
  20. Granted, it's this phone! It has FOUR pre-programmed numbers! I wish that I can go to Worlds of Fun for my birthday.
  21. This was posted on Theme Park Studio's Facebook Hello Everyone, We are happy to announce phase 7 is near complete. In this phase particle effects have been integrated. Theme Park Studio contains a very powerful particles' engine. Many types of effects can be created using our extensive set of options and controls. As with other modules of Theme Park Studio, particle effects have been designed to be both easy to use and fully customizable, appealing to both the casual and advanced users. Casual users can enjoy a simple point and click method of adding particle effects to almost any scenery object, while advanced users have full access to the particle parameters for creating unique particle effects. Two new libraries have been introduced, Particle Scenery and Particle Effects Particle Scenery The Particle Scenery Library contains scenery objects that can easily be placed anywhere in your scene. Like other scenery objects, simply click on the thumbnail and place the particle object in your scene. Some objects contain animated texture maps for finely detailed elements, like waterfall mist curtains. Other elements will emit particles to create stunning animated visuals, like fountains and fireworks. Particle Effects The Particle Effects Library is useful for adding particle effects to existing objects in your scene. Adding effects is as simple as clicking on the thumbnail, then clicking on the object in your scene you want to receive the effect. For example, if you have a cabin in your scene, clicking on the smoke thumbnail, then clicking on the cabin chimney, will instantly add smoke. The smoke effect is now part of the cabin. When you move the cabin, the particle effect will move with it. You can even attach particle effects to flat rides! New Procedural Skies and improved lighting: Soon we will be rolling out new procedural skies and improved lighting. The new dynamic skies include animated clouds, time lapsed lighting, lens flares, weather effects, dynamic time of day rendering, and even Crepuscular Rays which together produce stunning results. Undo Finally, we have been working hard to implement community requests while developing the phases. In this update we are starting to roll out Undo. In this next phase you can Undo coaster rail transformation and deletion. We will continue to work hard to fulfill backer requests over the next phases. We look forward to moving on to phase 8 and appreciate our backers working with us during Early Access. Thank you for your support.
  22. ^^VF15, I really don't think that they can do much about it, other than add those horrendous white plastic pieces everywhere (and people still put crap on those). Unfortunately, people will always be stupid and careless.
