7/10 (really huge, but doesn't look as fun as bungee jumping) Made-in-China knock-off SLCs -

A simple concept... Create a coaster related meme, share it on this thread! Here's mine: Millenium force meme.

What's your favorite Flat ride?
canadianparkfan replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Thats great to hear it was built in house Too bad there's no others like it on this side of the pond. Would be a perfect fit for my home park and it's great collection of flats. -
What's your favorite Flat ride?

What the hell is that?... It looks amazing Is it the new enterprise model Huss was advertising a while back? ^^As for KMGs, definetly try to make it out to ride one! the one in the pic with the lap bars looks amazing, but as said a few posts back, even the smaller "Freakout" models can be crazy fun with a good long cycle. Once rode a freakout at a fair where we were given a 5 minute long cycle... One of the most fun experiences I've had in a ride. -
This is all great to hear so far. I look forward to trying all three up charge attractions in the near future, as the two closest parks to me (Canada's Wonderland and La Ronde) both have skycoasters (both around 170'), as well as slingshots. There is also two bungee jump places fairly close to one of the parks (La Ronde). Look forward to hearing more opinions

Kolmården Discussion Thread
canadianparkfan replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I know this is totally off topic, but was looking back through the archives, of when people were speculating what this ride would be, and stumbled upon this post. I had to lol, simply because after reading the post closely, I noticed the prank was *somewhat* right, even though it was most likely meant to be total BS. They got the RMC part right, as well as the lift and terrain elements. Thought the freespin and launch was also kinda funny, seeing as two freespins and a launched woodie have been announced for other parks since then. Anyway, back on topic, this coaster looks amazing! Love the documentary series they're doing with the construction too! -
Well, idk about the bottom point, but count me in as one who'd actually be pretty happy if it was called T-Rex track. The list of cool names from these guys just continues to grow! So far we have: -Iron horse trac -Zero G stall -Wave turn -Top Gun stall -Step up underflip -Tip out corner -Corked roll -Trick Track Double up So, after all this craziness, why not T-Rex track? -

As someone who's been on leviathan's drop, I'd say it's good, but not my favourite; best b&m drop I've done would have to be Vampire's (La Ronse batman clone). As for lame drops, that'd be a tie between Mindbender (Edmonton) and Vortex (CW). Both are really intense, thrilling rides with lackluster, airtime-less first drops.

I don't know about how many engineers are here, but I do see we have a non contributing to anything smart A$$ in the house I'll take the compliment, thank you. And I did contribute to the thread early on before all the nay-sayers came aboard questioning RMCs decision to use t-rex track type. I think RMC knows what they're doing at this point, they have proved know-it-all enthusiasts wrong before. He's right. I totally second this. Remember the "bolt issue" with NTAG?

Weird Chinese Coasters

It's not even a cool kind of noisy lift hill, like an Arrow. Thought it sounded like an arrow with something very... Very... Wrong. -
What's causing the U.S Intamin drought?
canadianparkfan replied to fraroc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^^I get that not all the incidents aren't all Gherstlaur's fault, however, I'd imagine their name being involved wouldn't be too good for them. My home park is getting a Gherstlaur' flat next year, and while it looks awesome, I'm definetly a little warry of riding it after the relatively recent incidents at SFOT and Alton.
