  1. ^That's certainly red paint and not just an undercoat, it just wouldn't look like that and be on the supports too if it was. I agree that it did suit the theme and i'm also glad they are repainting it. The things they're doing under Towers Loving Care should make the park look much better overall.
  2. Good to see some track on site, hopefully it'll go vertical soon enough
  3. ^I'm not so sure either, it looks quite ugly. Maybe it's the colors i don't like though because it's an interesting design for a single car.
  4. ^I think they were saying that scenic painting starts next week on the station though, not the track, could be wrong though
  5. ^Interesting choice to go with the Sky Roller rather than the SkyFly, should be a really good flat ride.
  6. ^Really like the theming going into this area, it'll look really good with the SkyFly
  7. ^^Its quite strange though, because in one of the other pictures they posted close up of the corkscrew and it looks more of a creme than white.
  8. Fantastic to see it up close, really nice looking train, love the themeing on it!
  9. Fantastic construction tour, great to see some close up pictures. Not sure if i like the car as much as i do the other Mack spinners, but it's certainly still nice.
  10. Certainly an interesting addition, looks quite nice and should go well with families
  11. ^Forgot that it opens in a week, real close, can't wait to hopefully see some pictures and video from opening!
  12. Judging from Towers loving Care's twitter page, i'm guessing from the picture they posted today that they're also going to be painting the supports a kind of brown color.
  13. ^You're right, in that picture it can certainly be seen
  14. None of them look bowed while sitting on the wood blocks in that picture though, and i wouldn't expect it to happen while they're just sitting there.
  15. ^^Good to see they've got all the tower together ready to be fully assembled, be good to see it all together!
  16. Either Alton Towers, Thorpe Park or Drayton Manor in April for me
  17. ^It really does, that's quite a nicely themed building. I heard it's planned opening is not until May so quite a while to go if that's true, looking forward to getting back to Thorpe later this year for it!
  18. Not sure if this is going to be happening anymore since we all thought the finished color was on the right, however from the Ariel picture we can see that all that section is now fully white. So i really get the feeling this is going to remain white, without the rust. It does look nice in both colors though.
  19. It certainly looks really good with so much track in such a small area!
  20. Really like how the rides name is on the shipping containers at the end!
  21. Fantastic trip review so far, really interesting reading one that will involve all the RMC's!
  22. ^It certainly is. It's really tall, which is always great for a drop tower
  23. ^^Incredible to have footers in at this point, great progress well ahead of time
  24. ^^They're planning on opening Lost Gravity next month? quite early to say we haven't yet had the official announcement yet
