Wow, that's a very large piece of theming, its going to look great once in place!

^I find it a shame that they decided to remove the Flume, but it was certainly getting old. Alton have been telling everyone on their Facebook page that they've got some exciting, top secret plans for the site, which sounds promising. They also said that it's their intention to start construction on the site before the end of the 2016 season, which is very interesting indeed.

These two pictures are incredible, they make the coaster look like a model! Love them

^I'd agree with what you said there, i'd imagine that because of previous errors flashing up they just thought that this was another one and dismissed it without properly checking.

What an unbelievable flat ride that would have been if it materialized, shame it didn't. Looking forward to seeing what type of coaster they've got planned for 2017 too.

It does look slightly slow from the videos, but a brilliant coaster regardless. Shame it's all the way over in Dubai, i'd love it here in the UK!

^Yeah, so basically in that picture they're just preparing to paint it white like the rest of the track is, it's just that it hadn't been painted yet. It's not any scenic paint.

^As i said though, from the Arial photos that part hadn't been painted white yet anyway. You can see it's still the origional color, so it's unlikely to be scenic paint

^It could be. From those Arial photos we saw, the loop and banked turn down that end had not yet been painted at all, along with half of the zero g roll. So it's unlikely that that's scenic paint.

There's a picture of the front car of the train on that live blog too, set up like Rougarous was, certainly looks nice!

^They have a coaster planned for 2017, so that could be where it's going.
