  1. Terrible news, my heart goes out to those affected by this
  2. I wonder if RMC is fabricating the track one installment at a time. Possibly SFNE and SFGAM havent shipped yet.
  3. I think both KD and KI are the hardest parks to navigate without a map. The pathways just plain do not make sense
  4. Mine is always changing, currently: 1.Afterburn 2.Banshee 3.Raptor 4.Batman 5.Flight Deck
  5. If that track is just for the pre lift, the coefficient of friction doesn't really matter for such a short amount of track to the lift. I'm sure once we see track post lift hill, the removed strip will be present. But Joker though
  6. Well of course a B&M hyper will have high capacity, that goes without saying. I'm thinking more of aesthetics of the park, if Matt Ouimet didnt like the way Silver Bullet looks at the park (I agree with him) then a hyper or giga would be even more obstructive. Plus Knott's doesn't need gigantic rides to get guests through the gate, they haven't added anything huge coaster wise since 2004 and they've done just fine.
  7. I'd love a Hyper GT-X or RMC Raptor, a high thrill coaster without choking the park like a hyper or giga would.
  8. ^If it's priced $299-349 range I'll be purchasing
  9. Shot?? Vodka, or tequila? You mean no Jaƫgermeister? We're not all frat bros, homie. I'll take a Jameson, and with the direction this thread is headed, better make it a double. I'm down for anything with a "J", Jameson, Jaeger, Jack, Johnnie, Sailor Jerry
  10. Those smaller mega-lite type rides seem to be a hard sell. Even Intamin had a 5-6 year drought before another park was interested in one. I feel like Vekoma hypers could be a hit if they offer an attractive price tag. I'm also interested to see if the space launcher (ala rollercoaster formula 1) ends up being selling well like their junior boomerangs have as of late.
  11. Shot?? Vodka, or tequila? You mean no Jaƫgermeister?
  12. The way they're adding so much in a short period of time is reminiscent of Six Flags during the Premier era
  13. That sure is pretty track! Then again, I said the same about Monster and the Junker
  14. Any visible progress on Justice League? Possibly they're waiting for the end of Fright Fest to really get going??
  15. Especially since the Ford Bronco is making a comeback
  16. You sure that wasn't Tony in a drunk construction guy costume? The lengths he'll go to, to troll the fans
  17. I liked Racer and thought it was well-maintained. That being said, I wouldnt fault KI one bit if they turned it into Twisted Colossus 2.0. TC got MM a 10% increase in attendance the year it opened. Pretty sure that stat is on Cedar Fair's radar. Coupled with the cost to keep an aging woodie in optimum running condition vs the reduced cost to maintain an iron-horse conversation, it's almost a no-brainer.
  18. Been playing Zelda: Twilight Princess HD on Wii U and enjoying it thus far. Really sad that Wii U was such a flop, because I think it's a great system and have enjoyed every game I've played on it.
  19. I agree, like someone posting a pic of streaky drawers...ga-ross
  20. So glad they're getting a star flyer, these type of attractions add so much to a park's skyline.
  21. I'd like to think so, it's possible Cedar Fair got a multiple ride deal (ala Six Flags).
  22. So is that a deep red or brown? Hard to tell since the track is in the shade. Either color will go well in Frontiertown though
