  1. Joker at SFDK, the ride was only open for 20 mins the entire day and we were lucky enough to get a ride on it. Glad they finally got it running consistently after months of issues.
  2. Mmmmmm I love Coca Cola, that stuff is mad addicting.
  3. USH 10 mins SFMM 20 mins Knott's 45 mins DL/DCA 50 mins
  4. Happy to see another Sky Rocket II being built, they've been such a big hit for Premier.
  5. I guess a million people didn't want their heads put into a blender and set to puree
  6. I agree. If it didn't, i don't think it would cause too much of a problem, but on the busier days like Haunt, then there might be some issues. I think WoF would be alright if they got the 3 car train like BGW. The dual loading station might add significant cost to the ride which negates one of the main selling points (a low cost attraction). Plus we know Cedar Fair is all about reliability and minimal downtime, the dual loading adds more moving parts....meaning more can go wrong. But who knows, all this is speculation. For all we know this ride could be going to Fun Spot in Fl
  7. Wow, what a death trap
  8. It seems like Justice League could be the inauguration of going more towards family-style rides. But it also could just be a one-off because Six Flags got a deal with Sally for multiple installations, and adding them to all their highest attended parks has the highest probability of a return. I guess time will tell, but SFMM will have to invest tons of money into the park for it to be as family friendly as say Knott's. Not sure if it'll be worth it in the long run.
  9. They have cows there??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. This makes a lot more sense than the park just being cheap
  11. They're great! Smooth, forceful, and intense! So glad more are being built!
  12. Screamscape posted an article from Amusement Today with Premier Rides delcaring there will be 3 new Sky Rocket II clones coming for 2017-2018. The one in 2018 is for a U.S. park. WoF immediately came to mind...
  13. CF spends way more than SF yearly. Well we know CF invests more as a whole, but I'm speaking about ride additions specifically. 6 of SF parks are getting major additions for 2017, while only one CF park is getting a major addition (Mystic Timbers). LOL What you consider major attractions is clearly suspect. Well it isn't necessarily what I consider major attractions, but Six Flags who is spending 7-10 million a pop for them.

  15. I wonder what percentage of revenue CF invests into rides, seems like it'd be much less than SF. CF is doing a $10 million GCI, a mix of new and used flat rides, some water park additions, and new trains. Can't possibly total up to $75 mil
  16. I think they should keep the membership and just gradually increase the fee over the next couple years and do away with free parking completely. Maybe possibly offer $5-10 reduced price parking for gold and platinum members. I also wonder how long they will continue to avoid installing $20-30 million attractions. SFGAM particularly needs a true marquee ride. I'm sure Goliath is solid in all but it's no Kingda Ka, El Toro, X2, Tatsu, or T. Colossus. At the very least the 3 big SF parks should have gigas. When I'm at CP I'm always in awe of how popular MF is after all these years. It is the true gem and achor of CP and one of the reason people come back year after year. I don't see any reason why the big 3 couldnt get a return on a giga.
  17. Silver Bullet is the f*gliest thing that's ever happened to Knott's.
