How tight is it? It's not something we can really help with on an internet forum, but if they feel relatively tight, they're probably okay. FWIW, my glasses aren't very tight at all and I can wear them on anything at my home park without troubles. Then again, my home park doesn't have anything >70MPH.

Amusement Park Insurance

If you're talking to me, its a log of anything notable that happens at the ride. Who arrives/leaves to operate, non-emergency notes from maintenance, stopping operations, lost children, etc. Anything that might be needed by another operator who would be at the ride later that day. If you're talking to the original poster, IDK... -

Well I can tell you we have all of our ride log sheets from every day all the way back to when our park first opened. We save everything. -

Is there actually enough demand for them that you need designated spots? -
Creation of a Themeparkreview Subreddit...

It undermines the forum itself and isn't particularly conducive to discussion or archiving. It'd be a pretty weak, petty way to get back at /r/rollercoasters. And goes against the purpose of Reddit which is to create communities rather than feuding between like minded people. -
Personally I feel like the terms Hyper, Giga, and Strata coaster fit more as model names or descriptions, than as classifications. Magnum is a hyper. Millennium is a giga. TTD is a strata rocket coaster. X2 is a 4D coaster (because 4D is a better description than hyper). Basically any other "feature" preempts the height titles.

If you complain that's not a coaster then you should complain about powered kiddie coasters too. They're both powered completely through a small circular course. -
Go Pros and Coasters
Comeagain? replied to sirspud's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
We've started allowing GoPros with a head strap, chest strap, or GoPro branded wrist strap. Others with management approval. I'd rather see you use a GoPro then try to use a cell phone without any kind of protection. Hats and glasses can be worn but depending on the ride we'll recommend you remove them. I don't see a reason to limit recording, assuming it's done safely. More online presence advertising the products that you have to offer is generally a good thing. -

The massive (beautiful) station makes it look so tiny comparatively. -

That generally comes from you may not realize you shouldn't ride again until you actually stand up and get out of the seat. Just sitting there you may not notice, but when you try and walk everything changes. -

Those aren't sensors. Or at least not ones made by Allen Bradley or Siemens. I believe those are for the smaller chains. It's pretty clear in this picture of the top of the hill. And it looks like there's two channels running parallel, but I'm not sure what purpose they serve. And there can't be anything connected between the two because of how the top sprocket is connected. -
