  1. That's totally happening. LOOP-DEE-LOOP! --Robb Alvey
  2. ^With my home park being one with an Intamin Impulse that still uses the holding brake, you can see the track spike sway a bit as the brake engages. A couple of guests have seen this happen and have freaked out and it's amusing every time.
  3. It's a shame you didn't get on that paratrooper. That's a story I'd have loved to hear. Also, if I remember correctly about the go-kart tracks, that one with zero elevation changes is one of the best as you have to drift around the turns else you'll crash into the wall or another driver. But Fun Spot Replicant ride ops have to begin and end with the dude that left me locked in the Enterprise on the back side of the ride.
  4. Renegade Valleyfair
  5. I'm all for the possibility of a ski lift transportation system, but at the same time, I'm skeptical after Lake Compounce recently removed theirs after the events at The Great Escape.
  6. Picture of rocks, picture of rocks, picture of rocks, picture of rocks, picture of roc...
  7. Cheetah Hunt The 2007 Cedar Fair coaster with a western theme that is NOT Maverick.
  8. Apologies for the double post, but the oh, so subtle jab at Disney in the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer. Winner, winner: Carnotaurus dinner! Carnotaurus
  9. ^I just got an email from Valleyair that they're now accepting 2018 applications after making some changes to the site and application process. I would imagine that CP's doing something similar and will be up within the next couple days.
  10. The BurgerFi Bacon Cheeseburger (with added fried egg)
  11. ^ Wasn't expecting that. And lawsuit filed in 3...2...1...
  12. In a bit of festive holiday cheer, the Paul Bunyan animatronic in the Log Chute has been given an Ugly Sweater. Photo Credit: Nickelodeon Universe Twitter
  13. I was thinking the same thing. It uses a box spine. B&M is the only active company I can think of that uses that style. But it's a two-abreast vehicle. Giavanola used a similar style box track on their Six Flags Hypers, but even that looks wider than the track used in filming. At the same time, I wonder if this is also being used as a test by Universal to see how a gyrosphere coaster could work at one or more of their parks.
  14. The Winterfest ride lineups probably wouldn't get as much hate if Six Flags Great Adventure didn't run Nitro during Holiday in the Park. It's an easy thing to compare Cedar Fair to Six Flags, and in the case of ride lineups during the winter time events in the eyes of many enthusiasts, Six Flags wins hands down.
  15. The crews are really fast, but it's really easy to push down a bunch of restraints in empty seats where the seatbelts are aready fastened because nobody has sat in that seat for the last hour or so. Fair enough.
  16. Lightning Racer--Hersheypark
  17. The Room has under 30 reviews and most of the "fresh" ones love it as a cult; so bad, it's good film.
  18. Apparently my phone needs to watch UP. It'll cry at the first 8 minutes.
  19. They're both. I still have all my old Legos and use them to design alien species for a graphic novel series I'm writing.
