I saw a bear yesterday near my house. Black Bears are becoming a common site in my town.

I dunno, I never had it. I wonder where Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartmen live Looks like you were about to loose your pants while sliding down the hill. -
I've gotten Three Jury summonses and all three I didn't have to do . 1) I was up at school when the first summons came in, so I couldn't attend, my Mom had to send a letter to the court telling them I was in Maine for school. 2) they re-sent out the summons since I was out of school, the court date or whatever got postponed so I was put on call 3) third was the the "on call" summons or whatever, and again, the court date got postponed again so I serviced my civil service and won't need to do jury duty again for like 3 years.

No, of course not, this was done I believe in the 1800's. I do know the ODI was one of the few buildings that was relocated to the new Dillion Town Center. -
From weather.com. Wow, 99% of the country is experiencing a heat wave. In my town it's 94F, but it feels like 100F because of the humidity. We can never get a dry heat...

NEWSFLASH: Big Dig of Boston curse continues!

^ It was built by mass-holes, so you know it's a piece of junk. Last year when I visited my friend at his college, I had to take I-93 and take the zeppin bridge (i believe that's what it's called) and into the I-93 tunnel. I will admit that it does help relieve the traffic because I drove through that thing during rush hour and I only had to slow down for a couple of minutes. Good idea, just shoddy worksmenship. -

Ha, My aunt and uncle got a condo right on the Dillion Resevoir lake. What's neat about that lake, if you didn't know, is that the old town center of Dillion is below that lake. Also, did you stop at The Old Dillion Inn resturant or not? -

Yeah, it's just like an alpine slide with the controls, you push the levers all the way foward to go really fast, and I mean fast, then pull back to slow down or come to a stop. What's great with the brakes on these, is if you let you of the levers it will automatically brake, so that's good if you're coming up to someone that's virtually stopped real fast. They have different price plans depending on how long you want to try out the attractions... like an 1 1/2 to 3hrs to a full day. My mom and I went on a tuesday so they were having their tues & weds special of a unlimited universal pass for 35 bucks http://www.jiminypeak.com/sum/s_attractions.html There's the link with the prices. -

^ Yeah, I've taken a peek at the site which talks about the mountain coaster at park city, and they have a lot of neat attractions. Their zip line is friggin amazing, I'd spend some money on that one. -

Yeah, the Park City one is currently being built and due to open in august, but it's expensive as all gets out. 15 bucks for one ride on the coaster, that's bull. I liked Jiminy's price plans, so many to choose from. -

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'm going to go back to this place so we can bring my Dad and sister, and next time I'm going to bring my camera and do a video POV. Because I am currently kicking myself for not doing so. -
So today since I only had to work from 6-10am and my mom had the day off, we decided to drive about 1hr 1/2 to Jiminy Peak, Massachusetts up in the Berkshires area of Mass. near not too far from the NY line. This is the place with the second mountain coaster in the United States, only one east of the Mississippi, and I gotta say, no wonder the Europeans love these mountain coasters, they're a lot of fun. I was gunning it down the track going at least 30mph. The track length was about 2000 which included a nice helix towards the end. Also, those cars can really stop on a dime if you run into traffic on the track. The park also had a few other things like euro-bungy, alpine slides, padded jousting, rock climbing wall, 9 hole mini golf and a small zip-line, but that was closed for good since the manufacturer went out of business. Now for some photos and to end the TR, a nice view of the Jiminy Peak area from the ski lift. In the helix...I think a very special OMFG moment Now for some POV pics You can see the helix better here Mom coming to the end of the Alpine Slide track Alpine slides running Unloading and Loading aerial view. Track running through the woods Sweet, they're about to get the alpine slides ready since they can't run in the rain so they had to be dried off Mom and I approve this ride My mom coming into the unloading station Looking down towards the loading station Getting towards the end of the ride This is where it starts to get fast and hard to keep the car moving while trying to take a picture Reaching the top to begin the 2000ft long decent. going up the 1000ft long cable lift hill. The massachusetts amusement rides licence plate. They got these on every ride over at SFNE The brake-run and unloading station is above the loading station the mountain coaster station ooo, jousting A small rain storm passed by, but after it cleared up, everyone opened (except the zip-line)
