  1. Though never proven, wasn't the rumour that Leviathan was supposed to go to Knott's but then got sent to Wonderland. After a few minor modifications to get the coaster to fit the land at Wonderland we have what we have today? Again, I have no idea if this is true. Leviathan fits too perfectly in Wonderland to have underwent "minor modifications". And if it was completely redesigned, then Wonderland could have picked any model from B&M's catalogue. There is a lot of evidence that proves that rumor wrong. From 2008-2011, all wonderland GP I talked to were obsessed with Behemoth, some claiming it was the worlds tallest roller coaster. Now all they talk about is both Behemoth and Leviathan, and how Leviathan is the worlds tallest roller coaster. Both have been huge successes at Wonderland, and depending on how well accepted by the GP Intimidator was, I would imagine a B&M giga would get the same response again.
  2. Have you been on Leviathan? The trims are barely noticeable, it's run very similarly to Behemoth. And besides, I thought its trim nickname was Leviatrim Back to Carowinds, isn't Leviathans layout extremely similar to intimidator? At least Behemoth is all airtime hills to differentiate the two but it would seem weird to have almost the exact same layout just 100 feet taller, I'd be willing to bet a lot that this isn't a Leviathan clone.
  3. I've given up defending zoos, Seaworld, and parks like this since the PETA crazy people are always right no matter what and are experts on animal care because they watched one biased film, and they aren't willing to listen to reason when proven wrong. I tip my hat to those of you who go keep trying though.
  4. There are so many unanswered questions about this ride that as some info gets leaked it's hard to put the puzzle together. I can't wait to hear the reviews about this ride and find out what really happens.
  5. ^But how do they know if you are a special kid or a normal kid?
  6. It's crazy watching seasonal parks open while Wonderland is still under a blanket of snow. BGW is such a great-looking park.
  7. They could always just build a YOLOcoaster clone. Actually I think that would be a smart decision to add, even though I hate how short it is.
  8. ^I agree. Do they have to make each coaster look like it is 1000ft tall?
  9. ^^Cedar Point has been sued by 2 people who got cut when TTD's cable snapped. I think it has happened more than once too.
  10. Didn't it place 4th or something in Mitch's poll last year?! Anyways, aren't accelerators like KK and TTD really expensive to run? Wouldn't it be cheaper to go 260ft and just take the tallest coaster in Europe title but still be cheaper than going 300-400ft?
  11. This. Imagine how much airtime RMC could pack into that layout.
  12. Do you not consider Superman a headliner coaster? Sure, Darien Lake has a mirrored clone, but Darien Lake isn't competitor. And isn't Wild One a decent coaster too? I've never been to the park but from what I've heard I've never thought that their coaster selection was as bad as people on here are saying.
  13. It's like the Cedar Point thread all over again when people were guessing Gatekeeper's name.
  14. I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but Gatekeeper isn't a family coaster. Yeah it's not extremely forceful but that doesn't determine if a coaster is a family coaster or not. And I thought Cedar Point said Gatekeeper was one of the most successful coasters they ever built?
  15. I prefer Sky Screamers over Windseekers. There's something about the chain that makes it more thrilling. You mean the risk of getting stuck 300 feet in the air for hours isn't thrilling enough?
  16. I like what Cedar Fair did with Leviathan's station and this looks great too, hopefully this is a trend with more stations in the future.
  17. Well someone's a little over-confident. That's what I thought too, but hopefully it will at least be comparable to Disney and Universal.
  18. I thought one of the reasons it was still popular was because it was a "family coaster", even though the height requirement was still pretty tall. I wonder what caused the change?
  19. I'd imagine that they would want to get testing soon since I'm sure there will be some glitches they will need to work out, so if the cars aren't here yet they are probably in that crate. I wonder if they are behind schedule.
  20. I'd imagine that if WMG is successful, which I'm sure it will be, that more of these dark rides will be rolled out into Cedar Fair parks.
  21. ^While I haven't been on Olympia Looping, Mindbender absolutely flies through its loops. I'd love to see B&M try small loops on their large loopers.
