Going to parks alone?
DoinItForTheFame replied to alilstronger's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You know... For the past 5 years I have had to go to parks alone. I never minded much. I always loved when there was a single rider line waiting for me. However, now that I am engaged, and I have a roller coaster loving partner it makes for a wonderful feeling knowing I will never have to go to another park alone again. Having my partner to go to parks with is AMAZING!!! I get to share fantastic experiences with someone who loves them as much as I do. So I vote for "No" there is nothing wrong with going to a park alone. But just know... You will not ALWAYS have to go to parks alone! -
So finally made it home from the park... A VERY crowded day. Still managed to get in several rides on Outlaw Run. Despite the wait time being posted as 50 minutes we usually made it on in about 30. The crew was running awfully slow today. Got my first front row ride on Outlaw Run today... I don't care what anyone says... I REALLY prefer the front seat as opposed to the back seat. The trains also had a lot more noticeable screeching to them today. Moving on... Powderkeg, Thunderation, and Outlaw Run all experienced a high amount of downtime today. Still can not wait to try out Lost River Of The Ozarks!! Should be a fun little raft ride!! When up and running Powderkeg has about a 20 minute wait, and that was with a full que. The team was doing a fantastic job dispatching trains. Wildfire had about a 10 minute wait, which is the longest I have ever seen that line!! Oh, and Wildfire had some REALLY bad vibrations going on. The first time in the back, not so much, but the front row was awful. Still an enjoyable ride though. Best lift hill view I have ever seen.

We are in the car headed to Silver Dollar City. It's suppose to be a cloudy day with scattered showers. So hopefully there will be light crowds! as long as we get in at least 1 ride on Outlaw Run then the trip will be worth it!! EDIT: So much for a slow day.... the park is PACKED!!!!! And... Outlaw Run is down.

You know... As long as RMC keeps pushing the envelope and their rides do not become cookie cutter rides then I am okay with it. I love how RMC takes old rides that have low ridership or are outdated and makes them into amazing cutting edge scream machines. So as long as they keep keeping their attractions unique and they do not start plopping down clones everywhere then I am fine with them building as many original layouts at they can think of in a year. One thing different about RMC coasters and B&M ... You'll never find a forceless B&M.

Not going to lie... I am loving the way this coaster looks. Its unique. Its not like every other B&M on the face of this earth. The lay out is simple, and the trains are *gasp* 2 across* NO WAY!!! ... Seriously though... I love the way this coaster looks, and I love that B&M is doing family coasters.

I think this accident got so much negative media attention it has FORCED Six Flags to change things nation wide. You know the GP would be waiting in line for Flashback and say... "Don;t you know... this is the ride that lady fell out of?" Seriously the I feel like Six Flags is protecting them selves because they know what the GP thinks about theme park accidents.

Sadly the last concert I attend was the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball... However I was in the "Monster Pit" Front row... and it was amazing!!! Looking at going to the ArtRave ball now!!
