I found a link on another site that I find interesting. It appears the tenants of Plaza Fiesta have been asked to vacate soon although a firm date hasn't been announced. LINK While it may be nothing, it is located on prime land right beside the 61 acres Cedar Fair bought in 2011. The blue below is the general area of the land bought in 2011 and the red is currently Plaza Fiesta. It will be interesting to see what happens to this land and building as it appears the shopping area is closing. -

We like to do 1 - 2 big road trips a year. I don't mind driving, especially at night, although it is easier for us since we're self contained in our rv. Here's how our trip went for spring break this year. - leave after work on Thursday - stop at a truck stop around 2-3 am for a few hours of sleep - leave early Good Friday with a tire casualty along the way Hey - where did it go!?! - still manage to arrive in Dallas at the beginning of rush hour - SFOT that evening and on Saturday - It was amazing that ALL the coasters were running so we got all the credits. - leave early on Easter Sunday and head south to San Antonio (4 1/2 hours). Spend the day at SFFT then the evening in downtown checking out the Alamo, etc. All the coasters were running except iRat which wasn't open yet - SWSA on Monday - leave Monday afternoon, arrive middle of the night at a Louisiana truck stop for a few hours of rest - leave early Tuesday morning and arrive Gulf Shores, AL to pick up a woody credit (Cannonball Run). We planned to stay there 1-2 hours to eat then head home. The coaster was down and they let me know the part was due in that day. We decided to stay overnight and got a campsite at a campground (Gulf Shores State Park has a great campground). By that evening the coaster was up and running - +1 credit! - leave early the next day (~4:30 AM is early for me) and return home early afternoon. We made the 2700 mile trip in five days. We have another trip coming up shortly that will be 5300 miles taking us to Anaheim, CA and back. We'll be taking 15 days for this trip, though. You may note that this trip was strategically planned so I could pick up the iRat credit along the way assuming the weather cooperates.

I haven't been on either but this one sure looks uncomfortable. -
Hold the sleep/wake (power button) and then press and release the Home button. You should hear the camera shutter go. You'll want to do it rather quickly so you don't power off the iPad.

Thanks for the update on the Margaritaville menu. We've eaten at the Myrtle Beach one a few times and thought the same that the food was just decent. While we are not parrotheads either, we always enjoy the atmosphere. It's good to see that the menu has improved so we will probably stop in at the Orlando one during our next visit there.

Wow, that's quite the ride. I never thought I'd see a 5+ minute lift hill. Funny, I was just thinking of commenting 'lift hill: the ride' when that's what Robb said in the video. I think I should look into the rights to put one of these on Mount Mitchell here in NC. That would sure beat driving to the top. -

The 'good news' is that the average American seems to have a short term memory. Once the next big thing comes along for them to protest, they will move on and forget about this.
