I love TPR because it is a community of Amusement/Theme Park and/or Roller Coaster enthusiasts who is welcoming to newbies like myself. I also love to see the side discussions since most of us do have other interests besides just amusement/theme parks.

I finally got caught up last night so I can read this thread. I think the odds are great that Tyson will win. He's not my personal pick but usually the winner of Survivor is not my personal pick.

I've gotten very little from POVs on how much I will like the ride. From some POVs I thought I would love a ride and actually didn't and vice versa. All I use POVs for now is to get an idea of the layout of the ride.

Great shirts and thread! I stopped buying shirts because they were piling up and I didn't know what to do with them. I never thought about collecting them for a thread. I look forward to seeing more.

I really enjoyed the update as this resort is my family's favorite. We're particularly excited about the Leaky Cauldron. I can't wait for our trip down there next fall!

Great update and shots in the snow! And, no, I'm not a stake enthusiast... well, maybe a little bit... Anyway, after reading this I am no longer saddened that I have not made it to this park, yet. Now I have an extra big reason to make it there in the next year or two!

It's right up there with the other "big" old-school B&M inverts - Montu, Raptor, Katun, etc... Awesome! I am figuring out how I can finagle that $700 credit myself...

TTD is also better to me than Kingda Ka. It's a lot smoother in any seat that you sit in making it a fun ride experience. I was underwhelmed with Kingda Ka. To answer the original topic, though, I understand these are strictly for the intense launch and initial adrenaline rush. They do deliver on that but have never made it in the top 10 of my coaster lists because personally I want more than just a big shot of adrenaline.

Amen! Unfortunately that's what Carolina winters are like - cold and rainy with little snow.

The only things that are there are the Christmas Volcano Lair and Fink's Lab. I haven't bought the normal ones so it won't let me buy those. (It would have been at a huge discount )

Yes, great point about dropping the bags. I *just* found that when I was playing as it went behind a building. A list may be a good idea. Currently I've been dropping one bag per town that allows me to, then I have started a list of people who have been giving me gift bags. I frequent those towns to drop gift bags (and NOW they will be by the tree ) Yeah, I can't finish that quest, either, to decorate my houses as I'm real new to the game. I'll just have to wait until I get the houses.

Speaking of Rollo Coaster, it was built with wood that came from the property.

That looks like a lot of fun. How does it compare to the other B&M inverts?

We awoke to 26 degrees F but it got to near normal temps for this time of year - high in the low 50s. Thankfully the rain has moved on for now and all the ice stayed 40+ miles north of us.
