I think it was said somewhere that TSL would open before SWL, and the latter would open at the same time as the Disneyland version. That's all we know. Pandora is opening next summer, presumably May/June.

It's the opposite. The original plan was to close Kanonen in 2017 but now it'll close at the end of this winter season.

Getting Kanonen dismantled and Valkyria up and running in 6/7 months (assuming the idea was to close Kanonen in September) would have been pretty tight. Helix took a lot longer to build but that also needed a lot of landscaping to be done.

On the one hand, I did kinda want to ride Kanonen one last time. On the other hand, meh. Bring on Valkyria.

I noticed going through my coaster count today that I've never actually been on an Arrow coaster. There's really few of them in Europe and none where I live. Arrow log flumes are aplenty, though.

DLP needed a fixer-upper before anything else. We should be glad for all the refurbishments they're doing. Plus Star Tours II is coming in March.

If they want it open in time for Guardians 2, they shouldn't be.

Dang that looks insane. I kinda thought Disney would leave Hong Kong by the wayside after Shanghai opened but they're really doubling down on this park. This is going to be a bucket list park if it wasn't already. Dat new castle

Vekoma today isn't the Vekoma of yesterday either. The stuff they've done lately have been pretty successful for the most part (plus they're involved with bringing RMCs outside the US). Not to mention they often do try new things, which can't be said for every manufacturer.

They didn't blur out anything in the Smiler CCTV video that was released with the report. I think it's a whole other thing when it shows people getting killed. Out of respect for the victims' families I wouldn't want them to release the tapes, blurred or not.

Feels odd seeing the Timberliner train on the RMC topper track. Everything else looks excellent though.

I think Wodan was an outlier - Blue Fire saw park attendance increase 6.3% when overall attendance in Europe was slightly down that year.

The official model for Project V: Hard to tell but it looks like there'll be three sets of queues, standard (green), single rider (light blue) and "ticket" (blue).

I think it's more likely Big Loop or Limit gets VR before Colossos.

If it does get removed hopefully another park would pick it up and make it duel again. Or if that's not possible, send the two coasters to different parks.
