  1. That was announced on a very short notice. Looking forward to riding it when I get back to this excellent park (maybe 2018).
  2. Phantasialand likely June 15th & 16th. Going to book flight/hotel tonight.
  3. Yes Taron and Raik have single rider queues. As does Chiapas! The Quick Pass can be used four times on any of the listed Quick Pass attractions eg. Black Mamba, Talocan, Maus au Chocolat, Colorado Adventure, River Quest, Chiapas and Winjas. Mid June on a week day the park should be dead. You mightn't even need a Quick Pass. Taron and Black Mamba do have storage for bags in the station. Enjoy your trip! Thanks! Even if the park will be dead I'll still get a quick pass just in case, especially since it's just €15. Edit: Do you mean four times per ride or just four times overall?
  4. I may be going to Phantasialand in June (at long last!) and I'll have to ask a few questions before I make a decision: - Taron and Raik have single rider right? I'm traveling alone so I'll be happy to use it whenever possible, especially since neither uses Quick Pass. - The official website is a bit unclear about this, but can you only choose four attractions per quick pass or can you go on all the rides listed? - How would you say the crowds are on a weekday in mid-June? - Do Taron and Black Mamba have storage bins in the station or do you need to place loose items in a locker beforehand?
  5. I'm going to guess it's a Vekoma only because it's the same concept as Battlestar Galactica (even the colors are identical albeit reversed)
  6. Would that idea be technically feasible? I'd sure as hell give it a go There'd probably be major balancing issues since you're dealing with three car types with different weights on the same train, plus like CoasterKid said there's the capacity issue.
  7. Longest for me would be a combination of Space Mountain, Kärnan (the two I mentioned earlier) and Helix whose advertised queue time was 30 minutes but turned into an hour. Slowest would be Wildfire since it broke down in the early afternoon and the usually 15-20 minute queue was on a standstill for at least a half hour until I gave up and left. This is more of a perception thing but given how fast Europa Park was otherwise Matterhorn Blitz's queue was very slow, or at least felt like it. Wild Mouse coasters can be brutal even on lighter days.
  8. You can get a reduced price on entry if you buy your tickets online in advance instead of at the gate. 5+ days in advance saves you €13. https://www.heide-park.de/tickets/tages-tickets.html Note that Express Butler won't be available since it's only available on weekends outside of summer.
  9. Hyperspace Mountain is set to open to the public on May 7th. Source: Disneyland Paris' Facebook page
  10. The press release also stated that the Wave Swinger will be moved to a new location in order to make way for Valkyria and a new dark ride replacing Sagoslottet will come a few years down the road. More renderings:
  11. I have never heard this about any park ever (I'm aware of parks having specific rides and areas not allowing single adults to enter but not the entire park) and I think it would be a wasted effort to include such a rule. You should be fine.
  12. Wildfire will remain closed during the detail planning process, city council decision to be held on June 19th http://www.ekuriren.se/inrikes/kolmarden-slar-upp-portarna-utan-wildfire/
  13. Right now thinking a Bonbon-Land/Tivoli Gardens double bill on May 25th (Ascension Day).
  14. Apparently during weekends/summer Ferrari Land closes at 5 PM and opens again at 6 until 1 A.M.
  15. Planning to: Tivoli Gardens Bakken BonBon-Land (haven't been there since 2002 so I figured why not) Liseberg Phantasialand (Wintertraum) Likely: Hansa Park Possible: Heide-Park Gröna Lund Kolmården Djurs Sommerland
  16. Ghostbusters update The new burger restaurant replacing Piratenburger Source
  17. Now that the park's open for the season we get a close look at Kärnapulten The new bounce mat The flower pads around SuperSplash have been replaced with sand The Mexico area has been renamed Spain Kleine Zar is up and running (theming will be finished later in the season) Kärnan's backside Painting has begun inside the tower
  18. Plohn will open its seventh coaster in 2019, building permit confirms it to be a Mack Big Dipper http://airtimers.com/freizeitpark-plohn-2019-mack-rides-big-dipper/0037070/ (Article in German)
