  1. It's one inch higher than most big/looping coasters.
  2. Flying Turns might not open until 2050 at this rate, but I'd still pick Knoebel's.
  3. Only bad experience was at the Bloomsburg Fair when I was younger. I was on a ride and the restraint was pretty much unlocked, and I kept yelling to the people to stop the ride, and they just looked at me and kept it going. Never been so scared in my life.
  4. Phoenix and Twister for wood, Talon for steel.
  5. Lets just say I've never experienced long lines at Dorney, and I've been going since I was 5 or 6.
  6. Chain: Papa John's Independent: Napoli (Naps)
  7. Pennsylvania (live here) New York New Jersey Delaware Maryland West Virginia Virginia North Carolina South Carolina Georgia Florida Ohio Indiana Illinois Tennessee
  8. All of it. But on the real, Cesari's is a must, as is the international food court and the other large food place (I forget the name) right by Phoenix and the log flume. If you're looking for ice cream/milk shakes, Old Mill is the place to go for that.
  9. Ok, so I'm a little weirded out right now. I went to RCDB to look this up to see pictures, and guess what ride shows up for the "random coaster"? Neverland Ranch's Dragon Wagon.
  10. I can see where he's coming from on Nitro. I first rode Nitro in 2002, and at that point I had no more than 20 credits, if that. I thought it was insane and it instantly was in my top 5. Fast forward to my next ride in 2008, and I was extremely disappointing. Other than the helix, the ride was sort of boring. I didn't get the airtime I got on my first ride...I might have been lifted out of my seat 5 times. Definitely not deserving of a top 10 ranking worldwide, IMO.
  11. Starting from a dead stop, it probably wouldn't have been able to make it all the way back to the station.
  12. Considering it's currently being built in Mexico (I think), I highly doubt that.
  13. I've been lucky over the years. I'd say my longest is either Dragster in '03 or Hulk in '06, and neither was longer than an hour and a half.
  14. I still don't know for sure, but the top of the track does have some Intamin in it. Whatever it is, I think it's going to be massive. I don't see any other reason for them to make the track that ridiculously braced.
  15. I've been on Twister and Phoenix way more than I have been on any other ride.
  16. Just three: Kingda Ka, Millennium Force, and Dragster.
  17. Great pics. It's amazing how empty the back part of the park was when Wildcat first opened. It seems kind of separated from the park. I remember going in '96 but don't remember it being like that.
  18. In no order: Whirlwind (Knoebel's) Gwazi Tiger Great American Scream Machine (Great Adventure) Hercules Mean Streak
  19. I love how they're ridiculously easy to find AFTER the deadline is over
  20. Some favorites:
  21. I don't think the races at Pocono have any influence on Hershey attendance, or any other park for that matter. Knoebel's is only 45 minutes from the track as opposed to 2-2.5 for Hershey, and I've never noticed any spikes in attendance when NASCAR came to Pocono. Considering it's a weekend it'll likely be packed, race or no race.
