Cranberry sauce. Canned, jellied cranberry sauce. Thanksgiving just isn't complete without it!

Same for me, it crashes most of the time whenever i try to go into my Krustyland using my iPad. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling it, but it didn't change anything.

It's me, rockin' out. \m/ That band's long-since split up, though.

Good Eating Outside of Theme Parks
michaellynn4 replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Six Flags Great Adventure has a lot of crap dining in its immediate surroundings (Tommy's, next to KFC, is way overpriced and serves awful food, IMO), but for anyone interested in non-fast food eats, drive down Rte 537 past Six Flags, away from I-195 towards Mt Holly. I highly recommend the Plumstead Grill, located near the 537/539 intersection, just under 10 minutes past the park. Great food everytime I eat there for very reasonable prices! http://www.theplumstedgrill.com/ -
My brother and I went Saturday. We got to the park around 4PM, and the park was already busier than I've seen in a while. Lines for Talon, Hydra, and Steel Force were 10-15 minutes each. As day turned to night, the crowds REALLY came. Lines for coasters got longer than I've ever seen; Talon used half of its queue (30 minutes), Steel Force used most the back half of its queue (30 minutes). Ride operators dispatched quickly enough to keep the lines moving, though. We only went through the Desolation maze and had a similar experience to alistronger: great theming, but it was overall ruined because they kept sending groups through too frequently. My group ended up catching up to the group in front of us, with the group behind us catching up to us. After that, we went back to the rides until we left around 11PM for the trek home. Ride count: Talon 2x Hydra 2x Steel Force 2x Stinger 1x Possessed 2x Thunderhawk Hang Time Dominator Sea Dragon

This summer, I had the pleasure of visiting the following parks: - SF Great Adv (home park, too many times to count) - Dorney Park (4x) - SF America (1x) - SF St Louis (1x) - SF Great America (1x) - Kings Island (1x) - Kings Dominion (1x) - Cedar Point (1x) So a good balance between the two companies. I, too, give the edge to Cedar Fair, though my margin might be smaller than others. I agree that Cedar Fair by far delivers a more consistent product than Six Flags does. Cedar Fair is not perfect (some of the employees at Dorney Park are a bit too apathetic for my taste), but I think by and large they deliver better than Six Flags does. Now if only their season passes were more affordable...

^ oh yea, I forgot there was a separate "whacking mode". I've noticed the same things, too. Definitely would've made things easier.

I'm still active, too, username michaellynn4. I don't think I ever got added to the main page, either. I only have about 25 or so friends, so anyone who wants to be friends with someone who'll be very active with the Halloween update, friend away! I'll add you, Guy, as soon as I get some downtime from work!

In addition to that, iIt seemed like during the Whacking Day event, when hunting snakes in friends' towns, there was only the specific amount of snakes you could hunt (5 or 10) spread thinly throughout the town. I remember getting so frustrated spending time going through each street trying to find the one bastard snake I didn't whack yet. What's so good about this update is that the number of ghosts available to hunt in a friend's town EXCEEDS the daily limit, allowing us to complete the tasks in a fraction of the time. That really helps a lot!

I was at the park Saturday and concur about the lines. The park was PACKED as usual for a Saturday Fright Fest. Lines were all very long, even for attractions I've rarely seen long lines for (FULL queues for Blackbeard, Buccaneer, Jolly Roger, Skull Mountain, elephants, etc). Coasters were running extremely efficiently all day, though; Nitro was practically clearing a train as soon as the train before crested the lift hill, Bizarro had trains out as others were crossing mid-course breaks, a full Skull Mountain queue took just over 20 minutes.

The only thing the various outlets are currently saying is that the fire is very slowly starting to get under control. Most at this point are recycling a lot of those points from my last post as well as getting reactions from residents. The rain did come in, but it passed quickly (in and out in around 20 minutes). Radars show more may be coming in later this night.

The most recent post from Casino Pier's Facebook page: News 12 New Jersey reporting that at least 32 businesses have been affected at this point, with over 400 fire fighters reporting to fight the blaze. Here's the link to the live stream of News 12's coverage of the fire: newjersey.news12.com/multimedia/seaside-park-fire-coverage-1.6063723 Also, from NJ.com, here's a list of affected businesses: www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2013/09/seaside_boardwalk_fire_list_of_businesses_impacted.html

This is heartbreaking. This is where my band and I played every month, where my family would go to for a night at the shore, where I met my fiance. Here's hoping they can contain this beast as soon as possible and no one gets seriously hurt in the process. Man, when life hands you lemons, it shoves them up your ass as well.
