  1. The mouse is fun for no other reason than they never have any of the brakes turned on. Have fun!
  2. ^Dude.... You have better research skills than some of my investigators at work. Well done!
  3. Live look-in on ACE headquarters:
  4. I'd prefer "Holy S**t, This Is So Much Better Than Mean Streak". Rolls right off the tongue.
  5. Spring Creek Smokehouse is what Rikki and I had for lunch last year. It was very good, but a bit pricey. Sit-down food choices in Hersheypark aren't exactly on the level of a Dollywood or Knoebels, so I don't think you're going to do much better than that. If you want, there are several chains you can choose from whose consistency you should be familiar with, including Subway, Moe's Southwest Grill, and the aforementioned Chickie's and Pete's.
  6. A negative post? In the comments section of Youtube?
  7. It was either last year or the year before, but yea, you're right. Wasn't down for very long either. I'm willing to bet it'll be functional by HITP.
  8. Awesome reviews, Kyle! Always was curious about some of these places. By any chance, are you planning on also visiting Night of Terror in Mullica Hill, NJ? It's not that far from Philly (straight down 322 over the Commodore Barry Bridge) and I've heard some pretty great things about it.
  9. ... You won't be able to do anything with just 100 pounds. I don't have professional experience like Kyle, but in college, I was the tech director and treasurer for our musical theatre group. You'd be surprised with how fast the expenses add up. Seriously, go do a price check on some of the basic materials you think you'd need (paint, costumes, decorations, etc) and do run a rough price check online. I think you'll be grounded back to reality real quick. Not trying to be a Negative Nancy or anything, just trying to be real here. I think if you're really interested in doing one, you can start planning now, but for next year's fair. You're going to need the time to plan and gather resources.
  10. Glad you're having a blast! Give SkyScreamer a try. Even though it's a standard Star Flyer, its placement in the park makes for awesome views from above!
  11. Rikki's school is closed today (middle school teacher). Most in this region have off for Yom Kippur. I don't think the park will be really busy, but I'd anticipate a younger crowd since there's no school.
  12. I don't know, Zach. Seemed pretty clear to me that the mushroom-bashing was just some locker-room talk, something all us guys do. Though I may not support the comments, i still support the man. #MakeBillGreatAgain
  13. Coal Cracker is one of the best flumes I've been on. Reminds me of the old Moon Flume from Great Adventure.
  14. Great report! Thunder Falls seems like a pretty bad ass slide complex. It'll be interesting to see where it ends up. I can't imagine Cedar Fair would scrap it.
  15. This doesn't surprise me one bit. The only downside to the Funplex is the sketchy clientele that place gets.
  16. Anything that has a crazy spin cycle. I love feeling dizzy and disoriented. Tropical Storm at PCC comes to mind first.
  17. Is the Paratrooper ride cycle even crazier than the one at Knoebels?
  18. New Jersey used to have dozens of traffic circles throughout the state (I think the highest total was somewhere in the low 100s). There aren't many left, but some still are out, including some with that design. For example, I live right down the street from the Route 38 / Church Road circle: You get used to it, but I always have to prep out-of-towners so they're ready for it.
  19. Not counting any more SFGAdv trips, it'll be Dollywood in November for Smoky Mountain Christmas!
  20. Well that was a fun detour! (Pun absolutely intended) In SFGAdv news, rumors are circling that the Sky Ride will be operating during Holiday in the Park!
  21. ^^ I... haaaaaaate... that intersection. I'm never really over there, but when I am, I'm usually coming down 130 South, and I always mess it up. I despise it.
  22. Back when she first started driving. my sister had to run an errand one day that took her through the traffic circle in Wall Township. She was so thrown off and intimidated in it that she ended up driving around in the circle for about five minutes before building up the courage to merge out.
