Best Compact Coasters

If we're talking REALLY compact, the Maurer Sohne spinners like Waldameer's Steel Dragon are pretty fun. -
Weird Roller Coaster Dreams

Last night I dreamt I was overseeing construction at Canada's Wonderland... they were building a red Eurofighter, except it had a regular lift hill versus a vertical lift hill... and it was the size of a hyper coaster. Then it collapsed. Oh and there was a yellow Megalite in the background. I miss Intamins -
Worst Lift Hill View
Angle O. Descent replied to Coaster Curt's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Are you kidding me?? It's arguably the BEST lift hill view... as long as you ride it before Leviathan -
Fastest inversion
Angle O. Descent replied to Dr. M's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you count Outlaw Run's first outside-overbanked-turn-yet-it-counts-as-an-inversion, then that would be a contender. Iron Rattler's barrel roll also appears fairly fast as well. Some day I'll find out for myself -
Who will break 500 feet?
Angle O. Descent replied to coasterlover420's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If it weren't for the Florida PolarCoaster rumors, my guess would've been a Six Flags Park. Right now there are 7 rides in the world 400+ feet tall.... and 6 of them are in a Six Flags Park -

Toronto has six seasons: winter, still winter, rain, August, road construction, and winter again. Anybody in SoCal or Florida looking for a roomie? -

You might be a coaster nerd if you actually think a 1970's Schwarzkopf is better than Skyrush -
Which rides have given you greyouts?
Angle O. Descent replied to rcjp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My very first time I went on Millennium Force, I passed out during the first overbanked turn, and came to during the final tunnel. It may have been from the beer we had at our Canadian tailgate party beforehand, but it was still fun -

Basically, you get dizzy to the point where you begin to lose your eyesight, yet you remain mostly conscious. When you completely lose consciousness, it's called a blackout. -

I-305 and Goliath (MM) both made me grey out consistently. Millenium Force and Ride of Steel used to but not so much anymore. All were caused by a high-speed turn or helix. I find that turning your head and looking in the direction of where the turn is leading to helps prevent greying out
