  1. Eiffel Tower Naples or Milan?
  2. There are only 2 trains. The mid-course brake was removed because the park simply couldn't dispatch fast enough for 3 trains to make a difference. They did not buy an extra train, so the 2 is all they have. All this information comes from park management during the Ghostrider walkback at WCB.
  3. Honestly, I liked Gatekeeper, and I think it's one of the better coasters in the park. I'd put it #5 after (from 1 to 4) Millennium Force, Magnum, Maverick, and Raptor. Considering how elite those 4 are, that's really a great place to be. The only real criticism I have of Gatekeeper is that it's not the best of its kind; I give that to Thunderbird. I think that's where most enthusiasts underrate it, honestly. They expect CP to have the biggest and best--and in this case, Gatekeeper is only the biggest.
  4. A couple new states, a couple more updates to make. Arkansas - X-Coaster California - Ghostrider Illinois - Goliath Indiana - Voyage Iowa - Monster Kentucky - Lightning Run Michigan - Shivering Timbers Minnesota - SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge Missouri - Outlaw Run New Mexico - New Mexico Rattler Ohio - Millennium Force Oklahoma - Silver Bullet Texas - Superman Krypton Coaster Wisconsin - Meteor
  5. Prowler Let's complete Missouri, Alex. Silver Dollar City
  6. These are very cool concepts. I would totally ride a drifting Radiator Springs Racers themed to Mario Kart. The mine cart thing looks like it could be in a Forbidden Journey type dark ride, and that could be very cool. The mine cart levels in DKC were very fun and very memorable. If they do this as well as they did Harry Potter and Simpsons, I'll be very happy.
  7. Word correlation game. The elevator game is just weird. Asgard or Midgard?
  8. Well, that is generally what happens when you start a sentence with "to his defence."
  9. This appears to have been pulled from the Cedar Point thread, where we were talking about the Skyride, and that kind of led to a tangent about other skyrides and similar rides. Thanks, Larry!
  10. No, it's not normal. As far as know, my office is the only one in the area that does it. About once a month or so, we have a mixer for about an hour for people to get to know each other. Everyone gets one drink of their choice: craft beer, wine, cider, or soda. The company pays for it, and all hourly employees are in the clock. It's a good time, and it really helps to fight the isolation that often accompanies cubicle farms.
  11. Yeah, sounds good to me. How are they von rolling these days?
  12. Invisibility. Velociraptor or velocipede?
  13. ^ & ^^ Both very good, and pretty cheap around here. IPA is one of my favourite styles, and Stone makes a good one. This was served yesterday at our most recent office happy hour: Yeah, I love my job.
  14. Europa-Park Upside down or inside out?
  15. Germany. Clockwise or counter-clockwise?
  16. Just a few minutes ago. I went in search of a good sandwich place. I selected a deli I haven't been to before. I am still in search of a good sandwich place. Oh well; I'm used to living nowhere near good food. When was the last time you had a good sandwich?
  17. She likes a lot of things. I think the track length is likely to be close to the same, but RMCs tend to have a much higher average speed than most coasters (Outlaw Run averages almost 30mph!). Expect a much quicker, much more awesome ride.
  18. 8/10 Big points for no allergies, but loses points for being targeted by cats as an appropriate outlet to express their displeasure at having to drink water that is now SEVERAL MINUTES old. Snow
  19. Christmas Leg of lamb or wings of chicken?
  20. Yes, but I also budget money for fun every paycheck. You can drive yourself nuts if you never allow yourself to do anything. But budgeting's the only way we could possibly do any of these trips. We both have decent jobs, and the Ozarks has an extremely low cost of living. But kids are expensive. Do you live in a zoo with a kangaroo?
