  1. Yes! My wife had a Wild Thing. I don't remember what that was, but we got one there. Worlds of Fun doesn't have custom drinks in the Chickie's and Pete's, but they do in Battle Creek Barbecue. The Mamba is especially good, made with Kansas City's own 360 bleuberry vodka.
  2. It's almost gonna be great. The only thing that stops this from achieving greatness is its lack of Knoebels. You're practically going to go right by it. If you need to skip another park to add in Knoebels, skip Darien Lake. Do not miss Knoebels.
  3. That's cool. Most of the animals I eat are vegetarians. When was the last time you drove a go kart?
  4. Valleyfair's is the best Chickie's & Pete's.
  5. That's amazing! I've never seen contacts that last longer than 30 days!
  6. Bingo. 10 points to Griffindor. I'm gonna let my nerd side show here. It's spelled Gryffindor. Um...I'm using...the traditional Welsh spelling! Yeah, that's it.
  7. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that no one did. Might be because I'm psychic, might be because they're fictional characters. Take your pick. Some people may have seen Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, though.
  8. Last night! My kids had a Christmas store at their school, where they could pick from a number of items to give to family. All the items were donated, so this ensured that every family would at least be able to have something for Christmas. Plus, it's always good for kids to learn to give and not just to receive. My kids couldn't wait to give us stuff, though, so we opened it all last night. When was the last time you met someone named Amy?
  9. Actually, I do think Knott's is better than Cedar Point. No, it doesn't have as many roller coasters, but overall, it's a way better experience. I had zero interest in any shows or food at Cedar Point, but those are big deals at Knott's. I think it just comes down to theme park enthusiast v. roller coaster enthusiast.
  10. Yeah, but the Magnum Xl 200 masochists are here we're representing the best we can. Hear, hear! I love that ride. Like beer and sex, you know it's good when you can't walk straight afterward.
  11. I would like to know, too. How do they handle it? Thanks in advance. They have a stack of paper cups next to the drink station. You get one, fill it, drink, then toss your cup in the trash. Or if you want, you can take the same cup back to another drink station and fill it again. This is the Midwest. We don't believe in making things unnecessarily complicated.
  12. Galaxy Note 7!!! Unless it's Thunderhawk. That one's actually good. Ptolemy or Cleopatra?
  13. Yes. Do you play the violin?
  14. Almost everything, because there's nothing wrong with that at all! What's worse is people who only ever speak English, never attempt to learn another language, and insist they can't understand anyone who speaks English with any kind of accent. What's worse than Funyuns?
  15. I've never been, and honestly it wouldn't be my first choice for a European vacation. I don't have anything against it, though. Have you visited Missouri?
  16. Okay. You always seem to know what you're talking about, so I believe you. In early September, they only had two, but it is possible that a third would come later. It does make sense for a year round park.
  17. Cost and price are different things.
