It does look really nice in person. You can see more than in the photos too; a lot of it is hidden behind trees, but the human eye is better at detecting such things than a camera is, so you can see quite a bit more of the track standing right in front of it. Also, they've already started selling merch.

WDW, based on my experience at their California counterparts. Would you rather have a terrarium or an aquarium?

Oh god no. Just no. Parasailing or hang gliding?

I still can't get over that Fatburger is actually the real name of a legitimate restaurant. Seems like it would be parody like this one: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]

Yes, though it doesn't affect me much personally, it's a great move for the park. Are you a fan of bacon?

Game: When was the last time you...

Just yesterday, at this fantastic market style restaurant called The Hill. They have an awesome seafood bisque and a fantastic ratatouille. It's the sort of buffet where the clientele do not literally try to eat all they can eat. You kind of sample lots of different things. The tiramisu is their best dessert. Weekday lunch goes for about $12. I have no idea what it costs at other times, as I've only gone on my lunch break from work. They have signature cocktails, as well, which look really good, but I've never had one as again, I've only gone on my lunch break from work. It's one of my new favourites in Springfield, so all you who are planning to come down for SDC's new coaster next year, you may want to check this place out. When was the last time you went to a mall? -
^ Yeah, LA's the only place I've been to on the West Coast. I'd love to get back there, but time and money.... Working on it.

Favorite Dark Ride
ytterbiumanalyst replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I say yes. Although they're both log flumes, both contain significant dark ride elements, so if you want to think of them as dark rides, go for it. -
That's Iowa for you, a state with literally more pigs than people. And I was an English major, so you know I'm using the word literally in its actual meaning. Larry, glad you liked Monster. It's a great ride and makes the trip out there worthwhile. I also enjoyed the food we got when we visited last year. People are tired of paying too much for crappy food at theme parks, so any park that gives you good food at a decent price is going to score big with their guests. Adventureland seems to be going in the right direction, and I'd love to go back in a couple years to see how they improve.
