  1. Sweet! Not a water coaster, but really great nonetheless. So glad this is a four-person slide. The kids are going to love this.
  2. Okay, looks like I don't need to go to Chicago next year. These are solid rides, though, and I'm glad they found a way to market one.
  3. Absolutely! Like this name/theme a lot better than yet another Harley Quinn Spinsanity like Texas is doing.
  4. Sweet! Love those giant pendulum rides. "Enhanced bumper cars" has me intrigued....
  5. Glad they're getting one of these. I probably won't ride this--I don't like Top Spins, and this is pretty similar--but I'm sure a lot of people will go nuts for it.
  6. Can you get the cinnamon bread recipe? http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/home-and-family/recipes/dollywoods-cinnamon-bread Ha, that was fast!
  7. I think it was around $14 million, but if you look back in this thread to 2013 or 2014, I'm sure you can find it.
  8. Agreed with the two above, and might I add no seat belts. You will be thrown around the car with every hill, and even the tiny ones have absurd airtime. It's small, but it's utterly ridiculous how many times that ride can eject you into the buzz bars.
  9. Absolutely, that festival was the most fun we've had at Six Flags in a long time. If they keep adding stuff like that, I'll be very happy.
  10. As long as the large attraction that's removed is Ninja, that's okay by me.
  11. That's a really enthusiasty way of seeing it. No, Six Flags St. Louis is for St. Louis. They don't expect anyone not from the city to be there, and they don't expect anyone from the city to go anywhere else. The forty or so enthusiasts who drop by in a given year don't change this expectation.
  12. Mmmm...corn dogs and poutine. We just got Guardians of the Galaxy 2 from our nearest Redbox, so I'll finally get to see this Groot sapling for myself tonight!
  13. I think that is the wrong way to think, because that's just not how they operate. They don't get something small this year so they can save up for next year. They always buy the cheapest thing that is going to bring in guests. Even if they had the money to get something big, if there's something cheaper they could add instead, they're going to do that. I think it's about time we all accept that really great small additions are the best we can reasonably hope for.
  14. Great photos! I never rode any of those three coasters with the retro T-shirts, but I understand there's a good reason why they're not around anymore while CP kept older ones like Blue Streak and Gemini that were worth keeping. I definitely need to try out Melt next time I'm there too.
  15. Can you get the cinnamon bread recipe?
  16. Yesterday at Panera. When was the last time you smiled?
  17. No, I wouldn't think that. Harry Potter is infinitely more marketable a brand than How to Train Your Dragon.
  18. Robb, Thanks so much for your effort on announcements like this. I'm sorry it's necessary to have a rule like this every time, but I want you to know it's appreciated. The writeups you do on the announcements are always high quality, and for that reason I generally don't bother to go anywhere else. Looking forward to tomorrow!
  19. Not this year. I did last year and went to all the Midwestern CF parks plus Knott's. Are you excited for the Six Flags announcements tomorrow?
  20. Very cool photos. I never got to ride Dueling Dragons, but I had friends who went to IoA back when these were new, probably 2000 or 2001, and they were so excited about them. Thanks for allowing me a glimpse of what used to be.
  21. What kinds of rides do you not like, or refuse to ride?
  22. At Silver Dollar City, I will not ride one ride: Royal Tea Party. I'm good with everything else.
