  1. The point is- Patriot may be taller, but Talon is still a longer ride.
  2. Please not that I quoted ariznglori, not you. I just happens to be that your post was quoted within the quote. I removed your quote within the quote to remove further confusion. Sorry about that. Even though Patriot is slightly taller, it still lacks in lenght in ride time when compared to Talon. I found this neat video on YouTube that compares them side by side.
  3. With Scream getting a repaint I don't see it being relocated to SFSL anymore and replacing Ninja. It was a pipe dream anyways. Or are they repainting it before the move?
  4. This park is looking good. I love the choice of colors for nearly everything. The park has a decent variety of rides that all match the time period. All the little details like fencing, flowering and themeing all flow together well. Flying Turns & Roll-o-Plane are my favorite coaster & flat in the park. Yes, keep going.
  5. I was thinking the same thing yesterday. However, I wish VF would keep some of there more "intermediate" coasters. Such as Excalibur and High Roller. We could possibly see something along the lines of Storm Chaser @ KK done with High Roller. However, a custom built RMC in Excalibur's spot would seem more suitable so the park can keep a more tame (when compared to Excalibur) High Roller as the parks only woodie. Or they could go the typical B&M route (nothing wrong with that) and install a custom Invert in Excaliburs spot. I could see something the size of OzIris, that sprawls around an expanded midway beyond Thunder Canyon. This area could possibly include a Windseeker, an eatery and a show or flat ride. Wishful thinking. I was actually starting a custom RMC conversion of High Roller yesterday. It takes a lot of imagination to turn that into something extraordinarily new. CF replicated the success of Talon in the form of Patriot in 2006. However, it seems more likely that they'd go for a custom version. VF is the last major park in the chain* without a B&M, it's bound to happen in the next few years. The only question is when? *I do not include MiA as a "major" park since CF never saw the need to invest in a Hyper or anything significant coaster-wise.
  6. What if CP tears down the current posters and starts putting up their major flat rides in chronological order? Plot twist.
  7. ^ She probably heard that from the Dippin' Dots guy.
  8. All I see are links, can you post pics please? EDIT: I fixed some...
  9. In the way minority? No, I don't believe so. Link Intimidator 305 beats Maverick by a margin of 0.0055%. The preference of the two is nearly identical. It is undeniably kick ass, but I personally find more variety a better overall experience when judging a ride in its entirety. Which is why I prefer Dominator over it, its design has integrity. If they can somehow find a way to save it. Hurler is a severe spinal injury waiting to happen.
  10. Nice. Not everyone can handle the ferociousness of the ride haha I found Maverick to be more enjoyable than i305. It just does more than curves and speed, which isn't much when it comes to overall ride experience. Although it does pack a lot of intensity, but not quite enough to negate its stale variety. Dominator is my favorite ride in the park, followed by a tie between Volcano & i305. I didn't find Anaconda that rough (I don't see where the complaints are coming from), it was fairly fun. Rebel Yell had the best airtime out of all the coasters I rode that day, one of the better racing coasters I've been on. Hurler was a piece of garbage, it needs to be burned to the ground.
  11. They probably had/have a contract with RMC. So, yeah, it makes sense if they were to get a discount. It's probably "we'll pay $xxx million upfront if you design x amount of coasters within x caliber over x many years". This could play out well for both of them. Since RMC gets a big lump sum upfront, and Six Flags can get whatever they want, whenever they want with practically no budget constraints.
  12. ^Frontier Forest has nine roller coasters, all with great variety. What this park needs is more focus on the smaller things. Particularly, the old Antique Cars is sitting on a large lot of land. That area could easily fit some mid to large size flats that could possibly re-invent that section of the park. Maybe some new food options as well. Just being optimistic here. P.S. I'm interested in making a map for this park. P.M. me if your interested.
  13. I'll see if I can get an updated one for the next update. If not by then, I'll try my best for next season. Survey is now closed, thank you all for your responses. I've looked over the results and will incorporate the best 3 suggestions into my long-term plan.
  14. That's a decent layout coming from Vekoma. Gravity Max looks like a decent coaster, experience wise at least. If only they had proposed a 61m model... I know what you mean. They're nothing more than just a faster & taller Euro. Although those high-speed turns do make a difference in ride experience somewhat.
  15. I think Chance has another chance this time around. If Lightning run is any indication of Chance's powerful design, I could see a larger park going with a blown up version of this. Similar to mega lite -->I305. Since Morgan merged with Chance, they should have all the tools they need to get back on the market with hyper coasters.
  16. If Cedar Point had RMC transform Mean Streak this way, it would allow for both a new coaster and land for future expansion. Two birds with one stone.
  17. Just a small seaside park I've been working on. I haven't used much CS on this park, I'll get to all that later. For now I'm just experimenting with a lot of new elements for a possible future park.
  18. The survey will continue until tomorrow, please submit your responses by then please. If you have not participated yet please follow the link here. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.
  19. I highly suggest you read the Games Forum Posting Rules! before posting on the Theme Park Review forums. I understand you are eager and want to showcase your work. Just adhere to the rules before you run into trouble with the Theme Park Review moderators.
  20. It's so sexy that it has to stay protected. Anyone else find it weird how there are just random supports clinging to the track?
  21. This is the smallest RMC coaster conversion yet. Twisted Twins were only 80' tall, and with RMC adding twenty more feet, there is only so much potential energy to work with. And Storm Chaser does a lot more than other coasters of this size . It'll most likely kick ass, so it's welcomed in my book.
  22. It's stated in the press release that it uses some of TT's structure.
  23. Fooled me. That makes two of us. I'll have to take a trip down there next year when I visit Kings Island. Also, is this a hybrid or just topper track?
