  1. I'm pretty sure it was Matterhorn for me as well.
  2. I wonder if it will be getting the Gold Striker treatment.
  3. Will they push your restraints or do you have to do the self hug like at Dollywood? If someone doesn't fit, literally 3 ride ops will come over and put all of their body weight on you. I'm sorry, this is just hilarious. Reminds me of TPR trips trying to fit people in!
  4. Or maybe a gift shop. Or many gift shops.
  5. I really need to visit this park sometime. The new coaster is looking pretty nice!
  6. I like Green Lantern. It's a pretty decent stand up.
  7. I'm sure they would be a year round park if the demand was there. Winterfest is a great way to gauge the interest during the traditional off-season. Who knows, maybe they will go year-round in the future.
  8. Yeah, shocking. I understand creating a demand, but they do it on a whole different level. They create a nice re-sell market, but it does them no good since they don't profit off of it.
  9. Here are the rest of the updates from the last day of IAAPA 2016! What are you most looking forward to that was announced? [twitter] [/twitter] [twitter] [/twitter] [twitter] [/twitter] Checking out Falcon's Creative Group who just opened Heroes & Legends at the Kennedy Space Center last week and we LOVED it! It's a great attraction! They had a cool model to go along with it. Over at Polin Waterparks, they were showing off VR water slide tech and interactive water based games. Very cool stuff! Their models are always fantastic. One of their interactive type games. The folks at Dynamic Attractions won "Best New Product Concept" at IAPPA 2016! It's easy to see why. It really is a cool idea. Congratulations! We love Alterface attactions! They make some of our favorites. We are looking forward to riding more of their work in the UAE next year! A fun model of their audience battle style attraction. A full media interactive dark ride based on chocolate!? Yes please! Looks like they have some great ideas. Three more WaveOz installations coming from Wave Loch at White Water West! Look forward to Flowriding next week on the Royal Caribbean Harmony! These are pretty amazing! I have taken many a spills on these. There something amazing about riding these while on a massive moving cruise ship. The video game section at IAAPA proves that what is old is new again. We need more of these around1 I love this game! Who you gonna call? The attention to detail on the Sally Corp Joker animatronic figure has always impressed me. These are getting a lot more fancy! Hey look! We found a picture of Jake on display at the GCI booth! Great coasters indeed. A nice train car for Busch Gardens. Now if it could only breath fire. The guys at Technifex are masters of visual effects. Their faux fire and water screens are just amazing! Fire! They really do amazing work! Jaws! Here's a closer look at the Ocean Explorer ride vehicle model going to Sea World San Diego from Chance Rides. Coming soon! Nice colors! It's pretty cool and unique vehicle! Frozen Coca Cola Icee's and Dippin' Dots! Always and IAAPA tradition. New for 2017, Brownie Batter! It wouldn't be an IAAPA show without these guys here. ...and that wraps up another IAAPA trade show for us. Until next year!
  10. Back for some more at IAAPA 2016! [twitter] [/twitter] [twitter] [/twitter] [twitter] [/twitter] [twitter] [/twitter] We're starting off at Whitewater for some more IAAPA coverage! They always have amazing looking models! We fell in love with Clip 'n Climb this summer and they're here! Buy their products, we want to climb more! Pretty colors. Dallas shows us the clips that can support a lot of weight. Games are meant to be played, and Bobs Space Racers makes it fun! Dallas is super concentrating on the target. Kidtums even won a Kookie Cookie Shopkins! Martin & Vleminickx have a lot of wood in China. One of the most unique elements introduced recently. A model of nice and compact woodie. My prediction: We're going to see a lot more of these coaster/zip line hybrids. They really look like they are a lot of fun. Weeeeeeeeee! Usually associated with awesome launch coasters, Premier Rides can also help you with your chain needs! KT and Dallas are having way too much fun on the Ropes Courses SkyTrail and SkyRail! Dallas walks the plank. Don't jump KT! KT absolutely approves of the SkyTrail and SkyRail! KT says: Thank you B&M for making more 52" height requirement coasters! We hope more parks invest in these updated trains. Nobody stands a change against KT and Janice!
  11. Another massive update from IAAPA 2016! Make sure to follow TPR on Twitter for live updates! https://twitter.com/themeparkreview [twitter] [/twitter] [twitter] [/twitter][twitter] [/twitter][twitter] [/twitter][twitter] [/twitter] Every video game and claw machine is here! Who likes racing games? They even have a Walking Dead game. Even after all these years, Space Invaders is still a great game! Polin is really becoming a leader in waterpark attractions. We can't wait to try out those slides on Royal Caribbean next week! Their models are some of the best! Storm Racer looks like a lot of fun. Checking out new hotness from Triotech. Big announcements from them later this afternoon! Love all the stuff Mack Rides is putting out lately. It looks like a pretzel with wings. We were skeptical of so much VR being put on coasters around the world but these guys do it right. This VR experience is Elissa approved. It must have been a ride through a cheese factory. Now testing at Fun Spot America, Orlando! Zamperla is showing off rides, VR and coasters! This looks like a fun flat ride! But now it also has VR! Everyone knows PTC trains. They're on a ton of wooden coasters around the planet. Wow, that's quite the list! The 'Merica train. They even have a bling train! Time to eat! First up, where we eat to get all the juicy theme park gossip, Dippin Dots! Next on our culinary adventure we devoured some delicious Beaver Tails! Even though they haven't been at Epcot for a long time, they are still around, and still very popular! Janice approves of the food and the greaseless fryer. Next it was time for something savory. Cheese to the rescue! And it was in the delicious form of a curd. These curds are Elissa approved! We ventured outside and found...more inflatables! They get bigger and more elaborate every year. They even have miniature golf inflatables. The Sling Shot looks like a lot of fun! We love where the future is taking us with wearable tech options at the parks to cover all of your needs. And to think, all these used to be different things to have to carry. All combined down to the size of a watch. Hey! Look who is up on the big screen at the Intamin booth! Jack Crouse showing off his ZDT Amusement Switchback photo on display at the Gravity Group booth! The revolving theater attraction from Dynamic Attractions looks amazing! It has an "open" section that opens up to physical sets. This shows some examples of different sets you can use. This is a really cool idea! Taking a look at the new Sea World Texas Sea Rescue ride vehicle with Sandor from Intamin! They look really nice. They look comfy as well! French Fries and Lemonade? Sure! Just a few of the amusement park treats you can find at IAAPA! Bill's lemonade is world famous! Tatostix have a unique way of frying potatoes! Tons of flavors to choose from!
  12. I have got to do this one of these years. It looks amazing!
  13. Looks amazing for a free Haunt! They did a great job!
  14. This is absolutely amazing and hilarious. I love that you called them out on their BS. There are so many more important things to waste your time on than posting and creating groups because you got banned or offended by a theme park website. With all the comments they posted, it's no wonder that they are banned/gone. It absolutely make TPR that much better not having them around!
  15. Do you know if it better to just craft items, or upgrade first?
  16. That didn't take too long. Too bad. It was a really unique experience.
  17. Great review! Now I'm even more excited to see them when they come to Reno in April! Thanks for the report!
  18. I'm going to have to try that next time I'm there! I wonder how it compares to Gogi House near SFMM.
  19. Good dialogue, but man this game is way too repetitive. Every single event is almost exactly the same. It really needs some new and original style events/games.
  20. My favorite, and most depressing, time of year. Halloween events and Food and Wine. As always, the food looks amazing!
  21. Even if they replaced it with a crappy quick service restaurant that would still be better than Stitch! I mean, I can get a Coke Zero at a crappy quick service restaurant! Totally agree! Bench the ride is tons better than Stitch.
  22. I totally agree!
  23. Looks like they did a great job this year! I haven't been to Orlando for Halloween for quite a while. I think a return trip is in order.
  24. Disneyland in January, but hopefully another park before that.
