I like UrbEx (Urban Exploration) pictures and stories a lot, I enjoyed this TR. A little gloomy to see an empty lake though.

Enthusiast wise, it's a lovely addition. GP wise, the eternal gimmick of "You'll loop 3 times forwards and 3 TIMES BACKWARDS!" will be sure to pull in some guests for the 2009 season. Enough said.

Amusing updates so far. I just hope the rope course video is going to be edited like an episode of MXC, complete with innuendo and 50,000 replays after somebody gets hurt.

But Wes, the 360 has HALO and GEARS OF WAR, because two overhyped first person shooters should decide whether or not you buy a system, right? Anyways, what do I expect to see at E3: -Nintendo resurrects Punch-Out! and Kid Icarus. Nintendo WFC gets improved, hopefully... -Microsoft reveals a Blu-Ray 360 to make up for that HD-DVD catastrophe. -Sony will poke fun at themselves back in 2006 for their press conference attended by stunned console warriors. -Won't be surprised if some "battle of the bands" happens between Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero IV. -Lucasarts announces they're going out of business. -Sega show off more of a Sonic game done halfway right, Sonic Unleashed. -Capcom has Mega Man 9 playable (not happening since Capcom isn't attending, IIRC).

All I can say right now is I can't wait for midnight premiere of The Dark Knight in IMAX. Hell yeah.

I would not be surprised if next season, one of the myths is "Can a lead encased fridge help you survive a nuclear explosion?" It was like Indiana Jones really wanted to be on Mythbusters.

I hope Flying Coaster is moved to a scrapyard, because that could easily be one of the worst steel coasters I've been on. Anyways, haven't been over to Elitch's since 2006 and looks like the place hasn't really changed except for the management. Good TR though.

Get Smart A good, yet predictable summer comedy. Steve Carrell did a good job playing Maxwell Smart and capturing the show's classic quirks. 8.5/10

The dueling coaster gimmick on Twisted Twins has died down. Sure Six Flags used this addition to beef up the park's reputation and gimmick, but it's a huge waste of space. Maybe a new family section would be put to better use, but that's about it. As for the ride itself... at least it's not Gwazi.

Tell your daughter that she can't reset life, because that mole thing is Mr. Resetti. If you turn off your game without saving first, he will appear and cause you to sit through is mindless ranting for like 10 minutes. ...yeah, I loathe that guy too.

Every Geauga Lake photo I've seen lately makes me kind of weep at how it's just been 5 years since Six Flags owned it. And back then the park looked like it was a blast and didn't really have to worry about attendance. Just look at this old site, which looks like the most comprehensive page on Geauga Lake I've seen back when it was owned by Six Flags.
