What is the record for number of rides on Goliath?
Homer replied to rawrtotheargh's topic in Ask Alvey
I think records on rides are kept by the individuals themselves. Over time, ride ops might get acquainted with the individual if they're regular and one op might get attention to the park about a guy over "Man, this guy is nearing his Xth ride on Goliath, let's celebrate!" Besides, a guy rode Millennium Force 1,000+ times in a season recently made the news. http://www.chroniclet.com/2008/10/08/elyria-man-masters-millennium-force-1011-times-in-a-year_122/ -

*Bump* For about a year now in college, I've been a member of Circle K International. For those of you who don't know, its the college level of Kiwanis or Key Club. I've learned to love volunteering and I've done a lot lately; -Relay For Life -Salvation Army -Zoo Boo at Lowry Park Zoo/Haunted Houses -Countless local events -Helping kids read I kind of learned to appreciate service now and I've had a lot of fun.

BGA has been my home park my entire life and I never really thought any part of it was haunted. Can't wait to see whether or not the Crown Colony House is haunted. Then again, I stayed at The Stanley the past summer and wasn't really haunted at all. Thus, I doubt this exists, but urban legends are awesome.

Traveling around in Florida, the Flying J Travel Center had regular gas for $2.92 a gallon. Thank the lord for lower oil prices!

The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread

Well, it seems that Screamscape has posted yet again the rumor of Disney still looking into buying Busch. I really hope it is as off kilter as it sounds and doesn't happen. If it does, likely that Busch Gardens Africa will go away because of Animal Kingdom. Anybody but Disney, anybody... -
Last nights episode, not really a strong season opener or a memorable Cartman episode and relied off the same 2 good jokes too much. But again, you never shoot a man in the dick.

Photo TR: A Day At Wet 'N' Wild and HHN 2008.
Homer replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great update Erik, HHN looks very solid this year, especially compared to Howl-O-Scream this year being a little weak. Although, I would like to see the big guy raft on the Midwest Trip on Bubba Tub, imagine the air. -
Regular is dipping as low as $3.45 in Florida. Premium is $3.69 now, I breathe a little sigh of relief.

I'm still peeved that there's no sit-down, lunch buffet Pizza Huts in Florida. I miss those places a LOT.

Last night's episode felt half-assed for really overdoing the Bird song. The only good part was the ending that made fun of Heath Ledger and the Office Space scene, but agh. Is it me, or did American Dad suddenly get better?

I know a majority of TPR posters are fans of South Park. Another season starts up this Wednesday night at 10 PM. This week its: The China Problem But, quote South Park, or discuss anything South Park here. And if you just want to catch up on the entire series for free online, South Park Studios has EVERY episode (up to this season) online. http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/ Old Threads: South Park - The Return of Chef South Park - Make Love Not Warcraft

A good way to tell it is a spam thread without actually opening the topic is seeing if the thread title and subtitle are the same. Example: Hello TPR Viral Video Donkeys Hello TPR Viral Video Donkeys Yes, these topics have very disturbing things. If you come across one, hit the button like Will said or just ignore the thread.

^According to IMDB, next fall is when Cleveland is coming on. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1195935/ This episode was pretty much alright. I especially liked the "Boom goes the dynamite" reference and Woodstock. But hey, I'm glad Family Guy recently has kind of gone back to the feeling of earlier seasons a little bit. I also might add that this week's American Dad was pretty good too, even though I'm kinda peeved they got rid of the newspaper gags. Watch Robot Chicken then. Sometimes too many cutaway gags can make the episode mediocre or have way too much of a fast pace. Or it could make the show drag on forever (the Brian and Stewie gag about "Brian's novel" comes to mind). Then again, the only long cutaway gag I liked was the last chicken fight that lasted more than 5 minutes.
