Checker's fries are crack in terms of fast food fries.

Happiness comes from magical rays of sunshine that come down on you when your feeling blue. Alligators are angry because they have all them teeth and no toothbrush.

^^I agree, the only Honey attraction that is possibly good is the playground at DHS and even THAT has not much to do. I'm all for the Captain EO temporarily returning thing. Not permanent or anything of course, nostalgia over an influential celebrity can only last so long before its old. Now if only Disney could make a new show a million times better than Wayne Szalinski's Bore-dome.

Most Intense B&M!
Homer replied to Beate's Freak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
B:TR is indeed one of the more intense B&M inverts. Raptor and Montu are the only ones that I think are really intense. Montu's first half is god tier for inverted coasters. -
Year One Where to begin? I wannabe Monty Python's Life of Brian, but totally try too hard at humor and make an obligatory penis/buttsex/doin' it joke every 2 seconds or so. I didn't expect much from this movie, but I expected it to be... I dunno... actually funny. 4/10

Snaking isn't hacking. However, if its somebody that is in 1st and keeps getting Starmen in every item box, that I would rage at. I haven't played MKDS in forever.

Cypress Gardens should stay the way it is, the niche gardens for the locals and not a massive amusement park. The Lego brand would help a little bit, but not too much. As for Legoland in Orlando, at first I'm skeptical that Orlando doesn't need yet another major theme park, but it could work. The old Splendid China site is practically perfect for a Legoland to be built on top of. I can't wait to see what develops of this rumor!

Wondering about Mount Olympus
Homer replied to jslim39's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hades and Cyclops are good. Pegasus and Zeus are rough. Go Kart tracks are a LOT of fun and HUGE. The "indoor park" is not much. Also, you might want to try out the water park and ride Triton, those slides get some serious air. The operations and staff, sadly, are probably the worst I have seen in any park I have ever been in. Most of the employees are easily unmotivated and don't give two hoots about their job (they don't even enforce the infamous Cyclops rule unless some things changed). If you're in the Dells, also take Papas's advice and go to Timber Falls. Avalanche/whatever its name is now is an awesome wooden coaster that doesn't lose steam. -
Dive Machines? What are your thoughts?

Back row, edge seat = awesome, intense, ejector-filled ride. -
Yay, new Soren trip reports! Question about Cuba though, were they strict about photography and where tourists could go? It really looked a little too, nice for a communist country.

Photo TR: Midwest Adventure 2009!
Homer replied to printersdevil78's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This has been a really interesting trip report. I always wanted to do a true vacation in Chicago (not just a day at SFGAm, though it was fun). And all of these food pictures, McDonald's advertising, and that Ketchup stain is giving me the munchies. Awesome TR. -
HI GOD, BILLY MAYS HERE! (Billy Mays found dead in Tampa home ) I couldn't believe it, he had no real visible health issues. I just got through watching Pitchmen. God, this death has me kinda raging.

I thought it was just me being delusional after browsing TPR. Too bad she didn't make it further into the competition. Also, I still miss MXC.

Eddie Murphy's "Imagine That" & Elitch Gardens
Homer replied to cathyJ's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Why imagine that, a bad Eddie Murphy movie. Anyway, I'm glad to see some businesses can smell a bad movie from a mile away and decided that product placement wasn't even worth it. But to be honest, its not like Elitch's is that noticeable in the Denver skyline and that the only thing you can see from Elitch's for like 5 miles around is the tower. And even then you have to look hard for it. You can kind of see the tower from I-70, but its not like Elitch's stuck out like a sore thumb. Also, whenever somebody brings up Eddie Murphy. This image always pops up in my head. -

^The whole "Jersey Devil" coaster concept has been a rumor milling around for years. It's about as mythical as the urban legend itself. -

Did the cost of steel go down or something? I never thought Giga coasters would be plausible again after they have become worn gimmicks. But I am glad to see a park give the concept another chance. I hope this ride will spark more parks to go above the 300 foot barrier now. -
Splashin Safari Malfunction!
Homer replied to holidayworld08's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For a second, judging by the topic title and subtitle, I thought something really tragic happened at HW. Glad to see that wasn't the case and nothing too serious happened. The situation seemed well handled by all parties and I hope everybody is breathing easy right now. -
So yesterday I finally saw Up in glorious "three-dee." Manly tears the movie. I never thought I, at 20 years old, would cry at a Disney movie. But this movie did a good job immersing the audience to feeling the characters. It was well done and I thought Wall-E was sad. As for the 3D gimmick, is it me or does it give you a headache?
