Cedar Point getting a good wooden coaster, possibly themed after brown recluse spiders. Dohohoho. -
I'd go ape for APE. Seriously though, I would like to see adult sized playgrounds in places like college campuses.

Honestly, a park the size of Kemah would do better in New Orleans than a full-fledged Six Flags type park now-a-days. I still question the legitimacy of Southern Star Amusements. -

What Do You Think Of Morgan
Homer replied to coasterfreaksrttd's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They did a great job with converting Steel Phantom into Phantom's Revenge, granted the last few hills aren't so nice to the male anatomy. But it was a fun airtime filled ride. I haven't ridden one of their generic CF hyper coasters though. -
Thief: I swiped stuff from the school store in middle school. At my old job at Panera, I snuck home panini sandwiches at the end of the night (they were going to get thrown out anyway). Victim: Pokemon cards, I could go on all day about these stories of crap trades and/or one of my holographic cards being swapped while at that weekly event at Toys R Us years ago.

Six Flags Tournament Of Thrills
Homer replied to rawrtotheargh's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Honestly, I feel Goliath at La Ronde should have been in this poll instead of Le Monstre. As for Tatsu losing to Raging Bull. Keep in mind that a large majority of the votes are from the general public that vote for their home park. A lot of Chicago locals voted Raging Bull and still think of it as a good ride without really knowing or caring about a ride across the country that is considered better in the enthusiast community. -
Six Flags Tournament Of Thrills

Looking at the Facebook comments, even the general public thinks El Toro should be winning. Watch the South Park episode with the French Canadians again. That'll probably explain it. -
^Not only that, but this is the AL East according to the Yankees. 1st Yankees, Steinbrenner is God. 2nd Those filthy Red Sox 3rd Orioles, soon moving to New York again 4th Blue Jays, what kind of fruity mascot is that? 5th Rays? Dohohoho.

I know, in before "rumor, moved to random, or moved to rumor superthread." But I think this is awesome and others here will probably want this game if more art or confirmation is leaked. http://kotaku.com/5325198/this-looks-like-art-from-warren-spectors-steampunk-disney-game Looking at the art, the concept, and the people behind development. I came. Attaching the pics in the article for justice. Some are awesome, some is nightmare fuel. I honestly hope more is leaked, some more confirmation, and more awesomeness. Hey, you're into games, who is this Warren Spector guy? Warren Spector (not to be confused with that murderer guy), is an acclaimed game developer behind the Deus Ex games. Deus Ex was released for the PC in 2000 and later on the PS2 and continues being a critically acclaimed game for its unique fusion of first-person shooting, role playing, its cyberpunk setting, and being one of the first games to have multiple stories/player choice. Warren Spector started a new game studio called Junction Point studios back in 2005 after Ion Storm (his original studio) closed. In 2007, Disney bought Junction Point, a later job posting for developers on a game involving "classic cartoon characters" was posted. Eventually over time, this game came to fruition and is tentatively titled Epic Mickey. No idea what systems its going to be released for. What's Steampunk? Is it some genre of music that is blared at Hot Topic? In short, a work of fiction where a universe is mostly "steam-powered." Google around for more examples. What is this Kingdom Hearts game you keep referencing? Another alternate-reality Disney game, but totally unrelated to this game. Disney Normandy. You thought Kingdom Hearts was screwed up enough. Even more nightmare fuel. Nightmare fuel. Though I would actually spend time at Country Bear Jamboree if it looked like that. Watch that front step, it's a doozy. Why does this eerily remind me of the movie Idiocracy? More awesome art. I'm on a boat... with the Earful Tower, Tower of Terror, and Spaceship Earth. One cruise I wouldn't want to get off of.

I haven't seen many pics of this park, but I can definitely tell that it has cleaned up. Glad to see Diamondback got a new coat of paint and another Arrow loop in good condition like Elitch's. Also, Pheonix. Enjoyable trip report. -
^Happy birthday. In a room with a moose right now.

^As for shows, I think Busch puts on better quality productions. They have great animal shows at SeaWorld and BGT. Katonga is a great Broadway-esque show for those wanting to kill time. I can't say for BGW's shows but they're quality compared to the stuff I see at CF parks. As for shopping, Busch parks certainly do have stores selling some nice and expensive one of a kind gifts. The giftshop outside the Tuts Tomb exhibit at BGT has a lot of expensive decor.

Nostalgia review time. The Brave Little Toaster Holy crap, this movie had so much nightmare fuel. The AC blowing up, Toaster's nightmare... Honestly 17 years or so later since I've seen this, I still don't get this movie. The voice acting and animation is still awesome though. But damn, why so much nightmare fuel Disney?

Mark Buehrle just pitched a perfect game against the Rays. Both impressed and a little angry at the same time.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if CGA goes the way of Geauga Lake. While I haven't heard anything about that new GCI and expansions since like 2007, the bay area cities would like a new home for the 49ers and Raiders. Wouldn't surprise me if Cedar Fair outright closes CGA and the land is turned into parking.
