BAM! Got mine the other day.

Worst Job/Day at Work: The worst day at work ever would have to be back when I worked at Panera Bread. Back then I was 17 and I only worked weekends there. It was almost the end of my shift when my manager begs for me to stay and close for the night (I came in at 11, it was almost 7). I would have been for it at first, but I had to go in very early the next morning (like, 5 AM). So in order to shut my mouth and work, they gave me a $20 bonus because they knew they were breaking at least 5 child labor laws. The restaurant was busier than usual and we closed late. I didn't get done until 12:30 AM, got home at 1 AM. Slept until 4:30... BUT WAIT, it was daylight savings and I lost an hour of sleep. Came into work at 5 like a zombie, it wasn't until 10:30 that the midday manager came in and let me go home because, "Wow, you look dead." What do you expect from somebody who worked 12 1/2 hours and got only 2 1/2 hours of sleep? The only other bad days at work would be days of just asshat customers in the stores. You know, people that ask for services in really demanding tones of voices and like flip their sh*t if they didn't get that change in 5's or that I didn't bag paper. I'll gladly do it, just don't act like a douche about it.

On the topic of Paramount parks though, I still see them as a solid addition to the CF chain. It gives them foothold in the South with Carowinds, Canada with their largest theme park, and monopolizing Ohio. This bit of news doesn't surprise me too much though. But I don't really see the land flying off the shelf because of the real estate market. Here's hoping to see some good come out of this story.

Every time I go to the hospital, it makes me more grateful to come home. Why isn't 24 hours passing by in a snap?

Today was awesome, Miss America visited the hospital and my room. Too bad pics will have to wait til next week when I have access to a scanner since all I have is a Polaroid.

Hair started falling out last night as a side effect of chemo. Thankfully, I got a new Rays cap last week and that spring training is around the corner.

4th quarter and the 100 yard return were pretty epic though. Ads this year were pretty meh. Bruce Springsteen sucks.

FINALLY feeling better after the first chemo session, devoured an imperial ton of McDonalds, and wishing I could just go outside. 8 more months; 12 more chemo sessions and a surgery to go.

It was me, I am X-works.

This past week has been one long drama for me. So over winter break, I kept having this annoying hip pain that varied from a "I could live with it" pain to "OH s**t, MEDS!" pain. I had an MRI last week and lo an behold, they found a tumor. A few days later, I had seen an oncologist and revealed that it was cancerous. Yesterday I had a biopsy and a surgery to install a tube for Chemo and it was revealed to be Ewing's Sarcoma. Today I've been seeing the doctor about Chemo options and while I'm glad this cancer is treatable, I've been feeling like crap because my life is essentially being picked apart one by one. I can't work, can't go to school anymore, and while on Chemo I am going to feel like I am in a plastic bubble. 2009 has been a horrible year so far.

Don't these things normally have 5 billion signs all over them saying "Must be 18 and older to operate the baler?" Pure negligence on the managers part.
