  1. I saw this when I was there Friday, I forgot to take pics though. I love Busch is finally doing the Fastpass bandwagon and this should come in handy during weekends and the holidays. Kumba's quick queue line has a merge point with an attendant standing by. I assume they would block off a part of the queue and let QQ customers go through, much like Six Flags and Flash Pass. Montu's quick queue is through the exit by the old photo booth. Row 2 is blocked off exclusively for QQ customers. As with Barry, I didn't ride Gwazi either, so I'm not sure how the system works there. Again, I appreciate Busch FINALLY has a fastpass system and if I visit during the Christmas holidays (when the park is really crowded), I'd definitely plop down the extra 20 bucks.
  2. "Idiot Box" - Incubus
  3. Burlington Coat Factory, if you ask me, a really ghetto place to shop for clothes. Then again, the store has the best prices for suits.
  4. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Overall a good Indy flick, with good callbacks to previous films (notably Raiders). Well done action sequences and such, although I think hardcore fans won't like the use of CGI (surprisingly a lot of CGI used, even after Spielberg said more stuntwork would be done to make this film feel like the 80's trilogy). Also, without spoiling, the plot twist feels out of place... if you know what I mean. It's still a good popcorn flick. 8.5/10
  5. I always get disconnected sometimes trying to look for a friend online.
  6. Short version: Left knee hurts and causes me to limp. Don't want to cause too much stress and I don't want to abuse the service of park wheelchairs. A few months ago, my left knee started acting up in throbbing pains by some way I don't know how it started. According to my chiropractor, I got a torn ACL/Meniscus (muscle that connects the knee with the leg and thigh). The pain normally comes in episodes of sorts varying from a few days to weeks. My most recent "episode" of my left knee acting up was brought on upon possibly by my visit to Hollywood Studios last week. The night after, my knee woke me up with a LOT of throbbing pain and for the better part of last week, I was in pain. Right now, my knee hurts a little bit and getting better, but here's the part where it goes into my question. On Friday, I'm going to BGA and lately I've been weary of my left knee. I'm debating between three choices: * Rent a wheelchair. * Wear a kneebrace. * Not go. In a way, I would feel guilty if I rent a wheelchair, since I think wheelchairs are more for older guests or people with broken bones. My kneebrace works somewhat, but I doubt it can handle a full day at BGA. Lastly, I haven't been to BGA in a while, and I really want to check out Jungala. So TPR users, I have 2 questions for you. What "qualifies" a person to rent a wheelchair? Should I rent a wheelchair?
  7. ^You have to wait for them to add you. Once they have, their Mii will appear on your friends roster.
  8. Finally added everyone. Unfortunately, Elissa was the only one that has registered mine so far. Again here's my info: NAME: bgtbbum FC: 3007-8835-7237 Also, I'm up for racing anytime today.
  9. Thanks for the comments, guys. Anyways, for my controversial Tower of Terror opinion, let me clarify my review. ToT had a great setup with the theming and suspense using the Twilight Zone license perfectly. The CMs did an excellent job in their roles as bellhops as well. As for the ride itself, I liked the loads of airtime, but the drops felt so underwhelming compared to other drop towers I've been on. Sure, I know some people class this ride in a different class or say "Hey, it's Disney!" But I still liked ToT a lot.
  10. Yesterday, I got a surprise 3-day Play pass to go to Disney as a belated birthday present. While I visited Epcot a few days earlier (no TR), my parents went off to Epcot and I went off to a park I have not been to in a really long time, Disney's MG... err... Hollywood Studios. While getting the play pass over at Epcot, I also got a birthday pin even though my birthday was more than a week ago. Needless to say, the pin really showed how well Disney's Cast Members interact with guests and I was blown away at how hospitable and entertaining CMs are. On to the part you'd likely care more about, the pictures... Afterwards, it was back home. But of course, like any good birthday, HOOTERS! Oh yeah, there used to be a hotel called Hooters Inn, but its torn down. I'd totally stay there. After the show, I was tired and I decided to take the bus back to Epcot and ride around on the Monorail. Now if only I could drive crazy like that. The set for the show. Afterwards it was on to Lights, Motors, Action! A pleasant surprise on this trip. Speaking of Indiana Jones, this show was jam packed all day. Harrison Ford, you make me feel impatient for Indy IV. Who is smarter, Hulk Hogan or Goofy? Tom Cruise has small hands and feet. And you know what they say about that? The smaller they are, the crazier you are. Goofy, they should make you into a motivational feel good movie... like Radio or something. The Great Movie Ride, or as I call it, a slice of Epcot. Chinatown pointing to some paint machine. Lead paint anybody? Walt's plane. If you're really into the whole backlot tour thing, Hector's TR is a lot more in-depth about it. Road signs from the upcoming movie Saw V: We still make these? and from the colorful abortion known as Speed Racer. We'll start with some planes shooting missiles going all vroosh, craawwsh, raaaswwsh. Boom boom boom bam! Onto the backlot tour. The earful tower these days gets little McLovin in advertising. I'm not sure whats dangerous, Drew Carey's career or my left knee? (sorry for the blur). Thrillrider15 makes an example for us about restricted areas. Bork, you're awesome and that's all I have to say to a guy with a one word vocabulary. Meanwhile, Fozzy you perv. And on Miss Piggy of all things... "It's not quite a mop and it's not quite a puppet, but MAN. Seriously, I don't know." C-3PO, move along... R2-D2, is it a trap? Admiral Ackbar, is it a trap? And time for a silly history lesson... the closest Star Tours actually got to being themed after the mediocre prequels. I rode Star Tours afterwards. Yet another imaginative caption. Afterwards it was on to Mania! Was the birthday pin cool enough? Nope... Ride entrance. Thats it. Onto another ride on my to do list, Vekoma Box: starring Limozeen! Review: It was actually a good ride though. I rerode this thing a lot, even with a large headache. Oh silly, masochistic me... And I love Mondays. Here's one ride I FINALLY rode. This has been on my to do list for quite a while. My review: To be honest, I liked the airtime and theming, but TOT felt underwhelming to me compared to other drop towers I've been on. Aaaand were here, and whoa, where did that hat come from? *obligatory Disneyland sucks comment here* Myspaz shot, that Birthday pin helped me with free desert and Powerade... Hey, you got your EPCOT in my Hollywood Studios!?

  12. Boardwalk and Baseball's site has now become a large outdoor shopping mall with a recently opened Target, Best Buy, Belk, and JC Penney's.
  13. Dive to Atlantis = Most pointless "water coaster" ever. A long water portion with absolutely no theming in a boat that goes 2 mph. Even though the ride soaks you, I'm glad the ride was taken out. It just felt "plopped down."

    Robb on KennyTV

Actually, quite a few segments for KennyTV were filmed during our visit to Kennywood on the Midwest Trip. Also, some of the more foreign TPR members on the Midwest trip were featured on a segment focusing on guests from far away, if I recall correctly.
  15. $3.85 in Florida. I'm surprised no guerrilla groups fought the oil companies yet.
  16. Finally, a coaster where I can wear a diaper without being awkward.
  17. I would like to see a wall feature on people's profiles though. I'm not sure whether or not you'd call that a novelty or a function.
  18. Iron Man Went to the midnight showing with a few of my friends and I was pleasantly impressed. I'll admit, I haven't even heard of Iron Man before this film, and if you have not heard of him, the movie does a good job detailing the background of the main character Tony Stark. I was surprised at the amount of humor in this film (then again, I guess it was the audience I was with) and Robert Downey Jr. giving a great performance. Probably one of the best superhero movies ever made. Also, I can't wait for Indy IV and The Dark Knight. 9/10.
  19. Well then, if CF is really pushing nostalgia for their ownership; I guess this is why. Like father, like son; go to Kings Island to jump things as a publicity stunt. I think one of the local news links JZ posted in his thread had the park manager said "...the park is going to be like when the Brady Bunch were here."
  20. Behemoth looks like a great ride and I concur that it was a deserved ride for Canada's Wonderland. A few questions though; Were any of the trims on (excluding the midcourse)? How did the trains feel, especially compared to other hypers? Excellent TR and POV, Paul.
  21. Fred Savage
  22. I cracked up at Pretzel Loop. I just hope you don't do Baby Dive Machine or Baby Drop Tower.
  23. Brent, when you joined. You were 11 in real life, like 17 or 18 on the internet. Then again, a lot of curious 11 year olds say their 18.
  24. My choice of bag is Plastic, you can do anything with those things! I work as a bagger, I prefer plastic. I sadly did a research paper on bags for an environmental science class. It's true that reusable bags are the best, but I see a LOT of customers every day say "I forgot my bags in the trunk, again." Plastic gets too much flack because its made from oil, often polluted and disposed of incorrectly, and its biodegradability. Also, its recently I don't see why many people think Paper Bags are the most environmentally friendly disposable bag. According to the EPA; Paper bags aren't so environmentally friendly, but they can hold a lot.
  25. ^I think it was featured on Ripley's Believe It or Not! a couple of years ago. At least this looks slightly safer than any of the Blue Flash rides.
