  1. Lol, they really made a lot of improvements this year. Yes, they installed cubbies in each station which passengers can use for free. They have slide doors on them to help prevent theft. I don't know about the lockers thing because nobody really uses them anymore, lol. I can't really answer the Capital railways question because opening day was my first time riding it in a long time . I really like the boneyard view though, it gives you a feel of the good ol' SFA, and a lot of the passengers were wowed by the items they saw. Yes, Superman was closed due to inclement weather. I thought it was down due to malfunctions, but I found out it was due to the weather. Surprisingly, Joker's Jinx was running all day. Speaking of Joker's Jinx, some of the supports looked like they had fresh paint on the bottom of them. This made me think Joker's Jinx could possibly be getting a paint job during the season? I could be wrong. No, there were no two train operations. It wasn't really needed. All of the coasters except Batwing had a lot of empty air gates. Batwing's lines were still pretty small. Mind Eraser's orange train was off of the transfer track and some of the pieces were under that station. This made me think something was done to Mind Eraser during the off season because the sound of the lift hill also changed. I don't really know about the restaurant changes. I just ate in Gotham's food court, it was the closest. What I do know is that Ben & Jerry's was replaced with a new ice cream place and new food options came to the park this year. These minor improvements will really boost SFA's attendance, and lead it to it's rising future. This shows us SFA is an amazing park with quality. The staff were always friendly to me, but they were extra friendly this year. They were joking around with guests, they let us on Joker's Jinx twice in a row (at the end of the day) without passengers even asking them. I hope you get to go to the park soon btw, and thanks for sharing the video.
  2. Yes. Every coaster has cubbies in their station now. You can store all your items for free there. However, they still have fluffy, fluffy bunnies filled with medicine and goo for those who feel safer using them instead of the cubbies.
  3. Nice coasters!!, I like the theming. What do you plan on doing next?
  4. You heard right. They have cubbies in ever stations locker.
  5. So today, I went to SFA for opening day. It was awesome, and SFA made major improvements. My day started when I got there around 12:10 pm. Season Pass processing was easy, but buying them before hand took forever. It all started with the line being cluttered with guests complaining that they did not get a refund for their parking tickets even though they bought gold and/or season parking passes. I understood their frustration though. I was meeting up with a few friends from school who were also getting season passes. My friend Noel was excited because she hadn't ridden a roller coaster in a year. After we got in, Noel wanted to ride the swings, but maintenance was working on them, so we headed to the Mind Eraser instead. The park was non crowded the whole day. We went on The Mind Eraser two times in a row. When we were riding Mind Eraser, I noticed the orange train wasn't on the transfer track, and the pieces were under the station. I think they did something with Mind Erasers trains during the off season because the sound of the lift hill changed this year. After The Mind Eraser, we rode the Apocalypse. Noel just moved back to MD a while ago and never got to ride it because the last time she was in MD, it wasn't there yet. It was bumpy, but fund. After Apocalypse, We rode Jokers Jinx. The lines were short, and it was fun. I also noticed some of the supports on Jokers Jinx looked like they had a fresh coat of paint on them. I think this indicates that Jokers Jinx is in the process of getting a new paint job. As for Batwing,it saddens me to say it's most likely going another year without paint. Anyways, after Jokers Jinx, we rode the train. Noel's dad used to do landscaping for SFA 6-7 years ago, and he did the pond in Coyote Creek. It originally had a sign with his landscaping companies name on it, but the sign was removed, and that made Noel sad. During the train ride, I told her, "maybe your dad's sign is in the boneyard over there." We both said we wish we could go over to the boneyard and keep some of the cool old stuff there. After the train ride, we ate at the Gotham City food court. I got a Spicy chicken sandwich basket with a powerade drink. The food there was pretty decent for fast food. After we ate, we rode Roar. It felt much smoother this year for some reason. The line was really short. Then afterwards, I saw a coaster enthusiast friend I was supposed meet up with, but his phone died, and he looked tired, and he needed to leave. Later on, Savanah and Matt wanted to ride Wild One, so Savanah's brother and Noel played shoot out, and we rode Wild One after that. After Wild One, we were going to ride Superman, although due to multiple malfunctions, the ride was shut down for the rest of the day. We headed over to Batwing instead. The line was kind of long because Superman broke down, and everyone wanted to ride Bawting. Everyone enjoyed it though. Savanah kept holding on to her beanie on every roller coaster instead of taking it off like Matt did, lol. After Batwing, we rode Jokers Jinx again. The line got a little longer, but it was great. After the Joker's Jinx, we were going to ride Apocalypse again. Matt didn't want to ride it again because I think it gives him a headache. The line was quite short, and right when we got in our air gates, the ride ops. announced that there were technical difficulties. We left, and rode Roar a second time. There was no line, we sat in the front. After Roar, we rode The Mind Eraser again which Matt did not want to ride because it gave him headaches. After The Mid Eraser, we went back and rode Jokers Jinx one last time. It was amazing, and the ride ops were super sweet. They told us told keep our hands up the whole ride, and I did. When we came back to the station, they told us to stay on for a second time. We didn't even have to ask them. The staff were so friendly. I had one of the best days at SFA so far and I think SFA really improved over the off season, and they are way better than last year.
  6. I'm excited, we're performing Guys & Dolls in less than a month!!! Our school auditorium just got finished it's renovation on Friday so we have brand new lights, and this summer they're going to put in new floors and chairs so the place will look awesome for future performances. I was talking with our school's theater director, and she says she's planning on possibly doing "It's a wonderful life" for next year's spring musical. I think it'll be a cool play for my final high school performance before I move on to college.
  7. I'm a non-smoker, but I'm glad parks have those policies. It makes the environment more cleaner, and it smells a lot better!! I hate the smell of smoke, it disgusts me. It also prevents cigarette butts being thrown all over the midway of the park like it's a city street.
  8. ^ It is!?, that's funny. A lot of counties in MD are amongst the richest counties in the nation including Anne Arundel County (my county), Montgomery County and Howard County was actually the richest county in the nation not too long ago. So at the same time it's not surprising.
  9. Lol, what's with the handicap parking lots?, there are no handicap people in rct3. Six Flags Holland looks really cool. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't there actually a park Six Flags formerly owned under the same name? If so, is this park based on that at all?
  10. I've never really been to a professional park that's ghetto. I know some people perceive SFA as "ghetto" because of the kind of people that go there and the fact that it's located in a ghetto county, but it's still located in the nice part of that county.
  11. Thanks for showing me that!!, I meant to use large half loops!!, I'm still kind of new to RCT3 ;P.
  12. Did I mention that Six Flags New Ocean has a ride at your own risk policy?, jk. I'll get rid of those tree's when I start building the station.
  13. Damn you Cedar Fair, naming two of your parks Great America?, lol. I liked the Elmwood name better. It was more original, but the new name is pretty too. Nice job so far, and I can't wait to see how Steel Savage turns out.
  14. Greetings citizens of Oklahoma! Six Flags, Inc. is excited to announce their new amusement park in Oklahoma. Six Flags New Ocean, which is located in the city of Tulsa, OK and will be home to three thrilling coasters in it's first year, 1 family coaster, and 1 kiddie coaster. There will also be a mixed variety of flats available, and we will also have shows. Six Flags New Ocean will have a lovely wild mascot, the Cougars. Here is our official logo: We are now in the process of constructing the amusement park as we speak. We have even finished constructing one of our thrill coasters, and are currently in the process of theming it. Here is our outer entrance area: Here is our inner entrance area: We will update you on more progress soon, and we hope to see you at the grand opening on May 24th. Be there or be square!
  15. I think every park has a different value. The value is what determines the season pass price. SFA's passes are fairly cheap. Does anybody know if there is an official spot in the water park where Bonzai pipelines is going?
  16. Lol, let's just pretend I bought Paramount rights. I would have named it two-face, but my other two Invertigo's are named Two-face. I'll change it to something else though, thanks for the suggestion. EDIT: I have decided to re-theme Face/Off to " The Widow's Reflection." Thanks for the suggestion.
  17. Six Flags Everett Forest released it's official logo today!:
  18. Steel Savage looks great, I'm excited to see how the guests like it.
  19. So in RCT3 Platinum, I have a lot of park's "branded" as SF parks. This one is "Six Flags Everett Forest." I based it to be in Bessemer, Alabama. I am fairly new to RCT3, so I started out kind of rough, and my first few parks looked ugly until I learned to fix them. Since SFEF was one of my first few parks, the original entrance was dull, and I fixed it. Also, instead having Mr. Six be my park's mascot for all of the "SF" parks, I have a different mascot for each park. SFEF's mascot is a Trojan. Here's a picture of SFEF's original entrance: and the improved one: I know it's still not that good, but that's the best I could do without editing the other pathways too much, and it was also hard because of the elephant transport I had directly behind the trees. To the right side of the entrance, we have a few coasters: The Joker's Hairspin, a pre-built half pipe coaster: Right next to The Joker's Hairspin, we have my favorite (operating) coaster in the park, " Mr. Freeze's Cold Punch," a unique floorless coaster. Mr. freeze's Cold Punch, The Joker's Hairspin, and a giant Ferris wheel I got for the park was all part of a big park expansion I did "last year" to boost attendance in the park which was previously suffering. It boosted attendance rapidly, I went from 800 guests-over 1000 within a "few days" in the game. Mr. Freeze's cold punch is one of the roller coasters I did when I first learned how to theme, and it came out pretty nice, I love the station house I made for it. i also forgot to mention, I don't use custom scenery. here's Mr. freeze's entrance/ station house building: more Mr.Freeze goodness: A portion of the first drop: The layout was big, so I couldn't get it in one picture, but here's more of Mr. Freeze!!: Now, moving on, we have one of the park's older coasters, a LIM launched coaster called "Poison Ivy's Naughty Leak." I know it sounds funny, but that's the best I could think of, lol. i was also in the process of theming Poison ivy's and Mr. Freeze's terrains, so this is what i did so far: Now, going past Poison Ivy, we have an Inverted Impulse coaster, "The Mind eraser." Now, to the left of the park's entrance, we have a section of flat rides: Moving on, we have two of the park's oldest coaster's, which opened up when the park did: Nighthawk, ( a fail recreation of the original vekoma flying dutchman): Inside of Nighthawk's layout, I was able to place a Vekoma Invertigo roller coaster which I named "Face/Off." I added more tree's around Face/Off's exit as an approach to add more theming to the park: going down further, we have another one of the park's first coaster's. One of them is the "Golden Eagle" or something, a crappy pre-built B&M invert I put in when I was first new to RCT3 and had trouble making my own. here's another pre-built Wild Mouse, " The Flying Dutchman Gold Mine." As a part of a huge park expansion next year, I will be adding two more coaster's: A kiddie coaster, which I currently have no pictures of because I haven't started constructing it. A new Stand-Up coaster, (B&M version): I haven't finished constructing it yet though. The last new coaster I have for next year is a new (B&M version) hyper coaster which will be called " The Farrow's Wrath." I have finished constructing it, I will start working on the queue path, station house, and theming soon. another view of the hyper: I will take more photo's and update soon for my last picture: ^ A picture of the interior view of Mr. freeze's Cold Punches station house. So that's pretty much the park so far, I will post updates whenever I have them. I know it kinda sucks, but I'm still getting used to it because I'm still a newbie to RCT3, and I don't use custom scenery. Next year, the park is getting a water-park , and a new wooden coaster.
  20. SFDK & SFMM tickets are just $5 more than SFA tickets. SFDK & SFMM passes are just $5 more than SFA passes. This really is not that great of a difference. Gold passes at SFA are only $80, and they are $114 at SFMM. And yeah, like I mentioned earlier, there is really not much of a difference. Does anyone know about the construction status of Bonzai Pipelines btw?
  21. ^ Actually, they are not the same. SFMM gold passes are $100, and the regular passes are $65. Not that far off though. I think the SFA passes are cheaper due to the size of the park, and due to it's under-crowding and it's also not much of a popular park. SFMM is open all year long, and SFA is only open from March-October, so that's probably another reason why the passes are cheaper.
  22. I live in MD, but I think my dad would be pretty pissed if I did that without his permission, lol.
  23. This is one of the few scream-o/ heavy metal songs I actually still like. I love the meaning of the song, and the heavy metal. It's called "Revolution" by Attack! Attack!
  24. USA East Coast- Six Flags America. I live in Crofton, MD which is like 15-20 mins. away from SFA. I also consider KD my home park because I go there a lot, and it's not too far from me either. I live about an hour and a half - 2 hours away from it.
