  1. You wear you're favourite theme park related shirt to school/work and don't care how many people stare at you.
  2. We wouldn't receive nearly as many new members as we do now, as theme park review sounds cooler. Possibly, some other people would leave, and start up their own forum, leaving the diehards behind to run "Amusement Park Website Place". Soon, APWP & TPR would start a world changing, massive battle on an epic scale for control of the internet. The war of the fanboys would soon spill over into the GP, and huge corporations, such as google, would back the side they supported the most. Soon, this would go beyond the internet, involving entire countries. Wars would be fought over who possesses the ultimate control of the theme park universe, and soon, we would all be dead in an apocalyptic nuclear war. What if being a coaster enthusiast got as popular as other hobbies on the internet such as gaming?
  3. ^ Never rode a disk-o what are they like?
  4. ^ Point i was getting at was whether you wanted to ride a really s****y ride forever or no rides at all. Anyway, Minecraft... Who the hell plays teraria? Girls (or guys) or coasters?
  5. https://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&q=sign+being+removed&btnG=Search+by+image&biw=1787&bih=854&sei=W6ObUY-NB6ftygGCiIGgDg#hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=removing+street+sign&oq=removing+street+sign&gs_l=img.3..0i24.155.1469.0.2401.11.6.0.5.5.0.129.531.3j3.6.0...0.0...1c.1.14.img.YaE0c-cb3mE&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46751780,d.aWc&fp=f06a59829fbd21a4&biw=1787&bih=854&imgrc=hqcWzTtBx1NteM%3A%3BJ_QocwBfpuioMM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.cob.org%252Fservices%252Ftransportation%252Fimages%252Fstreet-sweeping-sign-installation.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.cob.org%252Fservices%252Ftransportation%252Fstreets-sweeping.aspx%3B640%3B480
  6. Granted, but then Bing wouldn't exist, as it is impossible for Bing to exist in this universe without being annoying. I wish Canada would get more rides from Intamin and more big parks
  7. Intamin Ride of Steel... How does a Premier LIM have anything to do with the other choice anyway??? As a torture Method: Being forced to eternally ride an SLC... Backwards or Not being able to ride any ride again, coaster/flatride or otherwise... not even kiddie rides at the mall?
  8. Whenever I try to pick an avatar picture, it won't let me, as it keeps telling me the picture is too big. How do I fix this?
  9. No, but they look really fun, and I'd like to try 1 some day. Do you prefer B&M or Intamin?
  10. Ya, showing off to GP friends is always cool, and it's nice if they convert... however, I've never had any of my friends convert myself
  11. Well, here's an interesting idea for a game. We start off with a ride name, for example, Tatsu. The next person now has to name another ride that starts with the last letter of the previous poster's ride... So, with the example above, Untamed. No short forms allowed, and the ride/coaster must be real. I'll start off. Leviathan
  12. When I was in about grade 2, I rode my first coaster (Ghoster Coaster, Canada's Wonderland). Before then, I was always interested in the big rides, and how they worked, but was too scared to ride them. By grade 3, I started becoming an enthusiast. Actually, somewhat by accident. I was trying to google Six Flags Canada's Wonderland (I'm pretty sure I wanted to see how much the candy cost lol... as my dad told me we were going), and back then I didn't know S*** about the industry lol, thinking Wonderland was a Six Flags. I was impatient back then, and simply clicked on the first option that came up in the suggestion list, which happened to be "Six Flags California"... AKA Magic Mountain. After taht, learning that there was other parks in the world... I was hooked
  13. Probably CoasterRadio and The Season Pass
  14. I'm surprised you guys enjoyed these shows so much. The ones I've seen seem to be targeted towards GP, and talk about stuff I already know.
  15. Cool signiture, however.. Not flashy enough. I give it a 7/10... Better than mine lol.
  16. Also love the Intamin free fall towers... They're the only ride that still somewhat scares me.
  17. I don't play Day Z myself, but many of my friends do, and they love it. From what they say, I'd you like fps games like bf3, you should enjoy it. What games you play right now?
  18. Well, speaking of the zipper, here's some Offride footage of the zipper I shot yesterday at a medium sized carnival that happened to be down the street from where I was staying. The ride is owned by Campbell Amusements of Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Sadly, I didn't get to ride it, as It started to pour rain before my friend could show up with money for tickets, and unlike the fair that comes to my hometown, where I'm somewhat known for being an enthusiast, & the carnies are sometimes willing to give me free rides, these guys didnt seem like they'd do that Anyway, here's the vid... Enjoy! https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CC0QtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dw4s8duyYJ-Q&ei=B6mZUaiNN-qB0QHOoYAY&usg=AFQjCNG1Cqv8Tt8aYRZ5Pr3l4-_1CPgrHQ&sig2=0CuaREKM5X4GEH6j2dC6gA
  19. Anybody else notice that the single spike coaster looks sort of like the design for Superman @ SFMM... interesting. Wonder why a park would make a ride with that simple a design when they could go for a more complicated thrilling layout, such as the Mr. Freeze rides by premier. Also, wasn't the "drifting coaster" in the Wild DLC for RCT3?
  20. Ya... my username's pretty much a piece of #$@% lol... I just went to a random username generator website to pick one for my youtube channel, and added the 306 as a reference to a ride that nobody can still guess lol. I just stuck w/ that for TPR. PS: As I've posted a few times in this thing, and am probably ruining the game w/ my S***y username, nobody has to rate it anymore lol
  21. 3. Billy Talent II: Billy Talent 2. Valley of the Damned: Dragonforce 1. Tinnitus Sanctus: Edugy
  22. ^ Rides really aren't the same way for me anymore, and often i will go with friends to local carnivals and sometimes bigger parks outa town. However, I still use rides to escape from exams, as the midway sets up in my end of town right near finals lol.
  23. No offense intended to anyone, but I'm actually quite surprised how little some of the users know about flatrides... with some of the comments sounding like, dare i say it, GP comments. I've only heard a few people here mention taht this ride was more like a loop fight than an evolution, and many people here didn't seem to know about the fact that Mondial has made inverting frizbees for years. I understand this might mainly be a coaster/park forum, and i thoughtfully enjoy permanent parks and coasters myself, however, IMO I believe that flatrides, including the traveling ones, are sometimes greatly overlooked. I've been on many a flatride that have rivaled and beat many coasters, and this one looks like a great one!
  24. As i live in a smaller town with no parks, if we were to ever get any park of some kind, it would be relatively small. Hopefully it would grow just large enough to accommodate a smaller GCI like this.
  25. The thrill aspect makes sense.. There's always that nervous moment before a big match, or before the gun goes off before a race, where all the nticipation builds, and at the same time, it's exhilarating to watch and partake in... Sorta like approaching the first drop/launch on a coaster... He'll, sports even have diehard followers, like us coasterboys here on TPR... Except there's WAY more sports diehards than coaster fanboys lol. Guess nerds & Jocks, & those in between, have more in comon than I thought. As for the injuries, the worst I had recently was when I swung @ somebody, messing around & pretending to punch them... Unfortunately, they flinched, & I missed, punching a table & breaking my wrist
