  1. That's kinda what i was thinking... After thinking about it, the extra lift hill was probably put in to create the self-dueling aspect.
  2. Sadly, I have only been on one invert... a Vekoma SLC (Flight Deck @ Canada's Wonderland) which actually wasn't as rough as I thought it would be, and had some pretty damn forceful sections w/ good positive Gs. Hopefully this will change, however, as I am preparing to go to SFLR (La Ronde, Montreal), where they have a B&M B:TR mirror clone (as well as an SLC, which is stupid). My question is, how good will the B:TR clone be considering the SLC wasn't too bad, and essentially has the same height, speed and number of inversions? Can anyone let me know what to expect?
  3. Idk if anybody's thought of this for an idea for the next coaster, but how about a re-hab/re-build of the Wild beast by RMC? The ride seems to have great airtime, but sadly, it's nearly un-rideable due to the roughness. It would be great to see it get a rehab from RMC, which might not be too unlikely as there is enough open space around the ride to make construction relatively easy (@ least easier than Minebuster, which is in the middle of the park & would require maneuvering around the Water Park). Would be sick to see "Iron Beast" as CW's next coaster, but idk if it'll ever happen.
  4. Has to be the Wild Beast at Canada's Wonderland (known as the "Back Breaker" by me & my friends for the fact that there is an enormous jolt @ the bottom of the first drop). It's actually quite sad.
  5. ^ Well, if you think that 8 inversions is crazy, type in on youtube "107 flips on top spin"... now that's crazy
  6. It's always interesting to see how accurate the GP are when portraying rides in things like art/video games/tv. It'll be interesting to see how much research King's done into the rides in the novel....I'm guessing it'll be at least somewhat accurate, as although I've never read any of his books before, I've heard countless good things about their work.
  7. Amusement park (I will take a forceful intense ride over good themeing any day!) B&M building a woodie or GCI building a steel coaster?
  8. Planning a trip to la ronde this summer, and am looking forward to it. It would be nice to know how La Vampiar, Goliath and Le Monster are, as those are the rides I' most interested in riding. In addition, I'd also like to know if there's anything else I should go on while I'm there, as I haven't been since I was like 5 or 6 years old, and the park has probably changed a ton.
  9. Again, i you're wish needs to be there for somone to ruin it, so Granted, but nothing... stop using the invisibility thing! I wish there were more gigas built
  10. I can't decide, so... LIGAR! Coasters or Flatrides?
  11. Adding to what you said that it is impressive to see a ride go upside down 14 times... I coasters are beat by a mile in regards to inversion counts by flatrides. I've been on zippers that have flipped at least 14x in a row, and have seen a youtuve vis of somebody trying to flip a topspin over 100x
  12. Granted, but then they'd go out of business! I wish the Wild Beast at Canada's Wonderland got an RMC re-hab
  13. Granted, but the banana appears, and before it starts dancing, you realize you're hungry and eat it... then you end up dancing for 1000 years, and by the time you stiop, all coasters you ever wanted to ride on this planet have ceased to exist! I wish I had a great park in my hometown with great rides and operations/staff and was close enough for me to walk there.
  14. Tea BF3 or COD?
  15. The Vekoma would actually start making good rides, as the designers who were working for B&M/Intamin would now be working for Vekoma. What if all permanent parks shut down, leaving only traveling rides for us to ride?
  16. Goidrix for 24hrs...I'd take the pain to ride an intamin!... even if it's only an intamin freefall tower (still more intense than any B&M with the same sized drop) B&M coster or intamin freefall?
  17. Granted, but the park would suck, and would basically act a s a giant billboard for the other Disney parks! I wish the first generation freefall in my backyard mentioned a few posts back didn't break so I could ride it.
  18. 10/10 Thanks for putting a picture of one of the greatest rides in Canada, if not the world, for everyone on this thread to see!
  19. For those who said B&M doesn't want to build launchers, therefore they won't build one, here's a thought that popped ino my mind. They said a similar thing with gigas, and eventually, they built one.. Leviathan, which happens to be in my home park. In addition, not ALL b&m prototypes are forceless, as somebody mentioned above, as proven with leviathan, which some claim rivals mf in terms of best giga. Just my two cents
  20. Kids "R" us A legit, good coaster (maybe a mega lite) in Tous R Us, or @ Walmart?
  21. Ya... They should expand & make the next coaster a B&M wing coaster themed to taradactles (dunno if I spelled it right lol) Do you think Intamin should build more wing riders?
  22. Eagle (guessing Great America's?), as it's closer to Canada... therefore I could ride it!... Yay! Would you rather have a chance zipper or a Fabri Hard Rock (see image below if you don't know what that is) in your backyard?
  23. I'd rule out a flyer or wing rider, as although they are found in the US, Europe already has both of these rides (Raptor in Italy, and Air at Alton Towers). I'm guessing a launched invert like the person above said, however, not an impulse....More like volcano at KD
  24. It wouldn't keep that theme, as nobody knows who MegaMan is anymore lol. What if you had to choose between girls (or guys) or coasters?
